After signaling Dugu Wushang to sit down, Qin Han poured him a cup of tea.

Dugu Wushang still took the teacup respectfully.

“You know I’m planning to go to the northwest with Yu Wei soon. Initially, I wanted to take you along.” Qin Han said with a smile, “But the old lady doesn’t plan to go.”

“So I hope you can stay by her side during this time to ensure her safety.” Qin Han said.

Dugu Wushang heard this and, without hesitation, said, “Master, rest assured!”

“As long as I’m alive, the old lady will be fine!” Dugu Wushang said seriously.

But Qin Han waved his hand and said, “It’s not that serious, just a precaution!”

Upon hearing this, Dugu Wushang nodded, and then asked, “Should we call Yuan Liang as well?”

“I almost forgot about him!” Qin Han said with a laugh.

“There’s also another thing: you need to supervise Yuan Liang’s martial arts. I’ll leave some martial arts that he should be able to learn at a certain stage to you as his ‘senior brother’ to oversee properly.”

Qin Han nodded and said, “Alright!”

After Dugu Wushang left, Qin Han sighed. Having lived through two lives, he considered himself fortunate to have taken on a few disciples, and the only one with both filial piety and talent was Dugu Wushang.

Zhang Henian also said, “It’s not necessary for now. If we needed it, even if you didn’t offer, we’d ask ourselves.”

Just then, Ji Chufei came over to Qin Han, smiling, and said, “Dr. Qin, sorry about earlier.”

Seeing Qin Han’s lack of interest, Ji Chufei said nothing more.

She then got up, bade farewell, and left.

Qin Han looked at the time and said to everyone, “It’s getting late today. Let’s all call it a day!”

“Yuan Liang and Wushang, come with me home.”

“Yes, Mr. Qin!” both of them responded in unison.
