“You can choose not to believe, not to speak, and I can choose not to treat, but a month from now, there will be no hope for treatment left!

Think about this carefully!” Qin Han said indifferently.

“Actually, whether you speak or not, the result is the same.

Doctor Luo Ming can prove himself through his medical skills, but you have only one life!” Qin Han added.

Upon hearing this, the middle-aged woman’s forehead was covered with fine beads of sweat, but she still said with disbelief, “Are you trying to scare me?”

“Believe it or not, it’s up to you!” Qin Han finished and turned directly to Luo Ming, “Doctor Luo, if this woman comes again, just refuse to see her.

Your medical skills are evident to all, and First Hospital won’t dismiss you because of one person’s nonsense.

Just proceed as usual.”

“Understood, Doctor Qin!” Luo Ming nodded in agreement.

Although he was initially demoralized by the woman’s insults, he was now enlightened upon knowing that someone had paid her to trouble him.

Having said that, Doctor Luo Ming no longer paid attention to the middle-aged woman and continued to immerse himself in seeing patients.

Qin Han, however, changed his clothes and sat directly at the emergency desk to start seeing patients.

Wang Xiaobo had already gone to help Luo Ming, and Zhong Meimei was standing by Qin Han’s side.

For a moment, no one paid any attention to the middle-aged woman anymore, and the other patients who were watching the commotion returned to their own beds.

The middle-aged woman looked at Luo Ming and Qin Han, then at the patients around her.

Seeing that no one paid attention to her anymore and remembering what Qin Han had said, fear crept into her heart, yet she didn’t want to admit that Qin Han was right.

Just then, a middle-aged man rushed into the emergency room, carrying a six or seven-year-old child in a panic.

Spotting Qin Han in his white coat, he headed straight for him.

“Doctor, please take a look at my child.

He’s been having diarrhea since this morning, and it hasn’t stopped all day,” the man said anxiously.

Qin Han looked at the child in the man’s arms and saw that his complexion was as pale as paper.

Although his eyes were still open, they clearly lacked vitality.

“What did he eat yesterday?” Qin Han asked.

After thinking for a bit, the man replied, “Nothing unusual.

Just the regular meals, but this morning he suddenly complained of stomach pain and then the diarrhea started.”

Qin Han lifted the child’s eyelid to take a look, then softly asked, “Little friend, tell Uncle, did you eat anything yesterday?”

“No…” the child said, and then added, “I just had an ice pop…”

Qin Han grabbed the child’s wrist, and after a moment, he wrote a prescription on the notebook at the emergency counter.

It had only two herbs on it, which he handed to Zhong Meimei, “Ask the pharmacy to prepare the medicine as fast as possible.”

“Right away, Doctor Qin!” Zhong Meimei replied and ran off with the prescription.

Qin Han smiled at the man and said, “Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious.

It’s just a little dysentery, probably caused by the cold from the ice pop.

The child’s constitution is a bit weak; he needs more nutrition.”

Then turning to the child, he said with a smile, “Little friend, picky eating isn’t good, you know.

If you keep being picky, you might end up like today every time you have an ice pop!”

“Uncle, how did you know I’m picky with food?” the child asked curiously, looking at Qin Han.

Qin Han smiled and replied, “Because Uncle is a doctor, so I can tell you’re picky.

Let’s not be picky eaters anymore, okay?”

“Okay!” the child nodded vigorously.

Moments later, Zhong Meimei returned to the emergency room with the freshly prepared medicine.

Qin Han said to the child again, “Uncle could also tell you’re a brave kid, so you won’t mind the bitter taste of the medicine, right?”

“Mhm!” the child responded.

Qin Han extended the herbal soup in his hand to the child’s mouth, and the child took a sip, grimacing in bitterness, but after seeing Qin Han’s encouraging gaze, he gritted his teeth and drank the remaining soup in the bowl.

“Well done!” Qin Han said with a smile, then turned to the middle-aged man and said, “Take the child to rest over there for five minutes, and his stomach won’t hurt anymore.”

The middle-aged man hurriedly thanked Qin Han, “Thank you, doctor!”

After that, the middle-aged man carried the child and sat on the chair next to them, and about four minutes later, the child suddenly let out a very long and loud fart.

Upon hearing this, Qin Han turned back to the middle-aged man and said with a smile, “All is well now, you can take the child home.”

The middle-aged man looked down at the child and asked, “Does your tummy still hurt?”

“Daddy, my tummy doesn’t hurt anymore,” the child said as he clambered down from the middle-aged man and instantly regained his youthful vivacity.

The middle-aged man quickly came to Qin Han’s side and said, “Doctor, your medical skills are truly miraculous, thank you so much!”

“It’s all part of the job!

Remind the child not to be picky with food in the future, his complexion looks like he’s lacking some vitamins,” Qin Han said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, the middle-aged man also said with a wry smile, “He just doesn’t like vegetables, it’s almost driven his mother and me to despair.”

After thinking for a moment, Qin Han said, “Well, let me prescribe a spleen-strengthening medicine for you, have the child take it for a week, and his picky eating should improve.”

“Really?

Thank you so much!” the middle-aged man said, expressing his thanks in a hurry.

Qin Han then wrote down a prescription and handed it to the middle-aged man, then crouched down to the child and said, “Promise uncle you will be a brave kid, and take your medicine on time, okay?”

“Okay!” the child said, not quite knowing why, but he just felt that the doctor uncle in front of him wasn’t as scary as those other doctors and was easy to talk to.

After the middle-aged man left, a middle-aged woman came to Qin Han’s emergency station and sat down, somewhat uneasily asking, “Is it true that I can only live for three more months?”

“Hmm,” Qin Han responded indifferently.

Just as the middle-aged woman was about to speak, two more patients walked into the emergency room.

After glancing at them, Qin Han said to the middle-aged woman, “Please step aside, don’t obstruct me from treating others.”

The middle-aged woman had no choice but to stand up, giving up her seat, and moved her mouth as if she wanted to say something, but ultimately she remained silent.

On the other side, Wang Xiaobo whispered to Luo Ming, “Doctor Luo, that woman seemed like she wanted to speak.”

Luo Ming glanced at the middle-aged woman and said, “It doesn’t matter, the innocent have nothing to hide!”

“Doctor Luo, have you offended anyone lately?” Wang Xiaobo asked with some confusion.

Luo Ming thought for a moment and said, “I’m in the hospital all day, I don’t have time to offend anyone.”

As the two of them spoke, Qin Han had already finished seeing the patients, who left with a thousand thanks, and the middle-aged woman sat down at the emergency station once again.

“Ready to talk?” Qin Han asked indifferently.

But the middle-aged woman asked, “If I tell you, can you really cure my illness?”
