Chapter 264 - 264 264 The Magical Powder
264: Chapter 264: The Magical Powder 264: Chapter 264: The Magical Powder After disinfection, Qin Han, Xiang Muchun, and Luo Ming entered the operating room.
As soon as they entered, a young nurse said, “Hello, Doctor Qin!”
Qin Han looked closely and recognized the young nurse from the emergency room who had followed him.
He nodded and replied, “Hello.”
“My name is Zhong Meimei.” The nurse smiled sweetly.
Knowing that Qin Han would be leading the surgery, she was delighted and immediately pleaded with Luo Ming to let her assist.
“All right, prepare for the surgery!”
“Yes!”
“Mr.
Qin, the patient is still losing blood.
He has just been transfused with another 800 milliliters.
He has too many wounds, and his heart rate is falling,” said another doctor who was monitoring the situation.
Upon hearing this, Qin Han glanced at the data on the monitors and spoke indifferently, “The conventional methods are no longer effective.” Having said that, he took out a porcelain vial from the pocket of his surgical gown, the very one he had fetched from his car earlier.
After opening the lid, he sprinkled the powdered medicine from the porcelain vial onto all the wounds on the patient’s body.
Had the doctors not known Qin Han, they would have never allowed him to do such a thing.
An undocumented medicine could cause further issues for the patient, and it wasn’t a problem that could be simply resolved by taking responsibility.
The next moment, everyone in the room was stunned.
They saw the wounds on the patient lying on the operating table healing at a visibly rapid rate.
Although there were still ghastly scars, the bleeding had stopped.
“Prepare for the head surgery!” Qin Han said as he approached the patient’s head.
The doctors in the operating room were so shocked they couldn’t speak.
Wounds that needed stitches were healing just like that?
Then, led by Qin Han and Zhu Muchun, with Luo Ming assisting on the side, the three began the head surgery.
After two hours of intense effort, they finally cleared the blood clots from the patient’s brain.
All of them breathed sighs of relief simultaneously.
Zhu Muchun even swayed a bit, supported by a doctor next to him.
Brain surgery was extremely mentally taxing, and despite the help from Qin Han and Luo Ming, the patient’s brain had too many clots.
It was overwhelming even for the seasoned Zhu Muchun, and Luo Ming didn’t fare much better.
Two hours of intense concentration was more than any normal person could handle.
Qin Han, though, had a trace of fatigue on his face but didn’t show the same level of exhaustion as the other two.
“Doctor Qin, you’ve once again exceeded my expectations!” Zhu Muchun said with a smile.
The rest of the work was left to other doctors as the three left the operating room and returned to the dean’s office.
Zhong Meimei brewed a cup of tea for the three before leaving the office.
At that moment, Zhu Muchun, with a big grin, sat next to Qin Han, making Qin Han look at him warily.
This guy was smiling so obsequiously, he must be interested in the powdered medicine Qin Han used earlier.
“Doctor Qin, that powdered medicine you used just now…” Xiang Muchun spoke while rubbing his hands together.
Qin Han glanced at Xiang Muchun and said, “What about it?
It’s mine!”
“I know, I know.
I mean, that powder could benefit all of humanity.
Is it possible to mass-produce it?” Xiang Muchun said with a smile.
Qin Han thought for a moment and nodded, “It’s possible, it will just take some time.”
“That’s fantastic, Doctor Qin.
This is a great deed for humanity.
Do you know how many patients, similar to today’s case, couldn’t be saved because they bled out from too many wounds?
Whenever that happens, I wish I had more hands,” Zhu Muchun said.
“Seeing a patient who clearly has a chance to live but dies because we don’t have the right medicine to stop the bleeding—do you know how heartbreaking that is?” Zhu Muchun’s eyes reddened as he spoke; he could not forget the faces of those who had passed away.
He was a doctor, indeed, but medical skills and technology have their limits!
Zhu Muchun’s demeanor made Qin Han inwardly nod in agreement.
This was the attitude a true healer should have, not one who pursues fame at all costs.
“I’ll discuss it with my wife and try to set up a production line as soon as possible,” Qin Han said gravely.
“I bow to you on behalf of the patients!” Zhu Muchun immediately stood up, intending to bow to Qin Han.
Qin Han quickly lifted Zhu Muchun, speaking earnestly, “I’m also a doctor; I will do anything that benefits patients, so there’s no need for this, Dean Zhu.”
Zhu Muchun nodded and replied, “The greatest art of medicine is to nourish all living beings.”
After chatting for a while longer, Qin Han looked at his watch and realized it was already two in the morning; he stood up to take his leave.
Politely declining the offer to be escorted out, he made his way through the hospital’s main entrance on his own.
Sitting in the car, Qin Han fastened his seatbelt and was about to leave when a thought suddenly struck him.
He turned off the engine and went back to Zhu Muchun’s office.
Seeing Qin Han return, Zhu Muchun asked in surprise, “Doctor Qin, did you forget something?”
“Director Zhu, I need a favor from you.”
“Doctor Qin, please go ahead.”
“Could you copy the video recording of the surgery we just did for me?”
“No problem!”
Twenty minutes later, Qin Han had the copied video in hand and drove back home.
The next day, after arriving at the medical hall, Qin Han called Xu Bingyan, saying he needed her help with something.
Before long, Xu Bingyan and A-Mu arrived together at the Qin’s Medical Hall.
Seeing the two holding hands, Qin Han teased them, “Ah, now that you have a boyfriend, you don’t come to help me anymore.”
“That’s not true.
It’s just that my dad has been dragging A-Mu around, questioning him non-stop these past two days,” Xu Bingyan said, her face turning red with shyness.
Qin Han looked at A-Mu and said with a smile, “I wasn’t lying, was I?
I had something to deal with a few days ago and didn’t have the chance to talk to you in detail.
Yet here you are, having already stolen away one of my workers.”
A-Mu still wore a cold expression and said indifferently, “Thank you!”
“That’s it?”
“That’s it!”
“Is that all?” Qin Han asked again.
“If you want me to give up the idea of avenging my master, that’s impossible!” A-Mu said calmly.
“You’re such a…
bore.
You can’t even treat me to a meal.
Forget it, I won’t talk to you anymore,” Qin Han said helplessly, turning to Xu Bingyan and asking, “Miss Xu, I heard from your brother that you studied media at university, right?”
“Yes, Mr.
Qin, why do you ask?” Xu Bingyan asked with some surprise.
“Did you see the news online yesterday?” Qin Han asked.
“No…
I’ve been with A-Mu these past few days, so I haven’t really been paying attention to my phone,” Xu Bingyan admitted, a bit embarrassed.
Upon hearing this, Zhong Yuanliang suddenly exclaimed, “You’ve been together all this time?”
“Yes!” Xu Bingyan said, puzzled by Zhong Yuanliang’s strong reaction.
“I go, you’re quite robust, kid!” Zhong Yuanliang said, slapping A-Mu on the shoulder.
Only then did Xu Bingyan catch the insinuation in Zhong Yuanliang’s words.
Blushing furiously, she said, “What are you thinking?
Yalin, don’t you manage him?”
At that moment, Zhang Yalin had a serious expression on her face as she handed her phone to Xu Bingyan.
She glanced at Zhong Yuanliang, who immediately went obediently back to the door and stood guard.
After reading the news on the phone, Xu Bingyan frowned and said, “Mr.
Qin, this matter has escalated quite rapidly.”
“Yes, which is why I need to fight back.
I want you to help me prepare for a news interview,” Qin Han said calmly.
“Have you figured out a solution, Mr.
Qin?” Xu Bingyan asked.
“I will make them regret it!”
