219: Chapter 219 Understanding?
Cooperation?
As Qin Han and Song Yuwei stood at the entrance of the kindergarten waiting for Doudou, they saw Doudou and a group of children lining up to walk out.
Upon seeing Qin Han and Song Yuwei, the little one said to the children beside him, “Look, I have a daddy!”
Song Yuwei could not hear Doudou’s words clearly, but Qin Han heard them loud and clear.
His heart ached, and he silently vowed, “From now on, as long as I’m not going out, I will pick up the little one from school every day.”
The little one excitedly ran towards Qin Han and Song Yuwei.
Upon seeing the little one, Song Yuwei and Qin Han were both taken aback, followed immediately by Qin Han’s face darkening.
There was a bruise on the little one’s face.
Song Yuwei was asking the little one how it happened.
“I accidentally fell and bumped it,” the little one said with a hesitant look on his face, his fingers intertwined with one another.
“Doudou, mommy taught you not to lie, right?”
Doudou was adopted by Song Yuwei just over a year ago.
She knew all of Doudou’s little habits like the back of her hand; the little one never lied, and wringing his fingers meant he was scared inside.
After some thought, the little one still shook his head and said, “I’m really not lying.”
“He’s been hit by someone,” Qin Han said and then, carrying Doudou in his arms, he strode towards Teacher Jiang at the entrance of the kindergarten.
The words Teacher Jiang had spoken the other day made Qin Han feel she was a very responsible and caring teacher, but today’s incident made him quite angry.
“Teacher Jiang, what happened to Doudou’s face?” Qin Han asked in a cold voice.
Song Yuwei followed closely behind Qin Han.
Qin Han said the little one had been hit, and that must be the case because Qin Han was a doctor and could discern at first glance whether the bruise was from a fall or a hit.
“I’m sorry, Mr.
Qin.
It’s my fault for not looking after him properly.
Doudou fell while he was going to the toilet.
I will definitely be more careful in the future.
I’m truly sorry,” Teacher Jiang apologized repeatedly.
“Did you see it yourself, or did Doudou tell you that?” Qin Han continued to ask.
Teacher Jiang was taken aback and then said, “Doudou told me.
Because when children go to the toilet, only the infants’ class teachers follow them, with the aim of fostering the children’s independence.”
“Don’t talk to me about my child’s independence.
I’m telling you now, Doudou’s face was hit by someone else!” Qin Han said coldly.
Upon hearing this, Teacher Jiang’s face changed, and she said in surprise, “That can’t be, Mr.
Qin.
They are just little children, who would hit so hard.”
“You are a professional when it comes to educating children, but I am a professional in detecting injuries because I am a doctor!” Qin Han was barely suppressing his rage.
At that moment, a woman in her forties dressed in professional attire emerged from the kindergarten.
Seeing the situation, she stepped forward and said with a smile, “Hello, I am the principal of this kindergarten.
May I ask what’s the matter?”
“Principal, Mr.
Qin said Doudou’s injury was caused by other children hitting him, but…” Teacher Jiang hastily said.
The principal waved her hand and said, “Mr.
Qin, may I speak with Doudou?”
Qin Han did not say anything, but it was taken as tacit consent.
Seeing that Qin Han did not object, the principal asked Doudou kindly, “Doudou, tell Auntie Principal, was the injury on your face caused by someone else hitting you?”
The little one looked at Qin Han and, upon receiving an encouraging look from him, finally said, “Mm-hmm, it was Wang Ziyang who hit me with a mop handle.”
At this, Qin Han’s hand involuntarily clenched tight, and his face became even more frighteningly grim.
“Wang Ziyang?
How could he hit you?
That’s impossible.
Doudou?” The principal was startled and said, puzzled.
“How can you be so sure he wouldn’t hit my child?” Qin Han asked the principal with a fixed gaze.
Teacher Jiang was obviously relieved to hear Doudou’s words, as her smile broke out and she said, “Wang Ziyang isn’t one of our kindergarten’s children, he’s the shareholder’s son, how could he bully a little kid like Doudou.”
“Mr.
Qin, I’m truly sorry, this is our negligence.
I will deal with this matter immediately and give you a satisfactory answer tomorrow.
Is that okay?” the principal said, glaring at Teacher Jiang for speaking out of turn about Wang Ziyang being the shareholder’s son.
“I demand to meet the other parent right now,” Qin Han said coldly.
Upon hearing this, the principal became instantly anxious.
The reason she wanted to give Qin Han an answer tomorrow was that Wang Ziyang’s father, Wang An, was a shareholder of the kindergarten, and she wanted to give him a heads-up first.
“Mr.
Qin, children can make mistakes.
If we rashly arrange for the parents to meet without understanding the situation, it could easily create a psychological burden for the kids.
We need to give the children a chance to grow by themselves, there must be some misunderstandings here.”
“I understand how you feel, but as parents, please trust us to handle this matter.
Of course, as a kindergarten and as teachers, we will also reprimand Wang Ziyang.
I hope you can understand and cooperate.”
But in an instant, the principal had made her decision.
Doudou was just a regular enrollee, whereas Wang Ziyang was Wang An’s son, and she couldn’t afford to offend him.
“Understand?
Cooperate?” Qin Han sneered.
“I’m not satisfied with this way of handling things.
I want to meet the other parent right now.”
No sooner had Qin Han finished speaking than the aura he emitted became uncontrollably intense.
Although it was only slight, it wasn’t something ordinary people could bear.
Both the principal and Teacher Jiang immediately trembled under Qin Han’s imposing presence.
“My child has been hit, and now you expect me to understand and cooperate?
Is this how you handle issues?” Song Yuwei roared like a tigress.
Women are naturally weak, but strong as mothers!
“Daddy, Mommy, please don’t fight, okay?
I’ll be good at kindergarten from now on, and they won’t bully me anymore,” the little guy said, frightened at the sight of Qin Han.
Hearing his words, Qin Han immediately reined in his aura and, after a moment of contemplation, said, “Doudou, Daddy isn’t going to fight, but since they hit Doudou, Daddy has to stand up for you.
Daddy promised that no one would ever bully you again.”
“Doudou, come to Mommy, this isn’t our fault, don’t be scared,” Song Yuwei took Doudou into her arms and spoke with an aching heart.
Qin Han took a deep breath.
There were many ways to solve a problem, and violence wasn’t the only solution.
Moreover, it wasn’t the right example to set for his child.
“I’ll say it again, I want to meet the other parent right now.
You can find all sorts of excuses, but let me tell you this is called school bullying, and I will go to the Education Bureau with its officials.”
For Doudou’s psychological well-being, Qin Han was prepared to resolve things peacefully.
At that moment, Doudou suddenly said, “Daddy, that’s Wang Ziyang.” Pointing at a father and son just coming out of the kindergarten’s office building.
Qin Han’s anger grew even more.
That child was clearly much older, at least fourteen or fifteen years old by his appearance.
As he led the other to the front gate, Qin Han coldly asked, “Are you Wang Ziyang’s parent?”
“I am, and you are?” the man asked in surprise.
“Your son hit my daughter.”
The man was taken aback, then said with disdain, “What nonsense are you talking about?
My son is fifteen; he would hit your daughter?”
