After saying that, the woman picked up the little girl and directly leaped off the peak.

Hearing Xiaoyun’s joyous voice, another smile spread across the woman’s face as her feet stepped gently, borrowing force off the cliff several times, landing lightly and steadily on the ground.

She then put the little girl down and said, “Let’s go!”

Xiaoyun seemed a bit reluctant to leave but still nodded and said, “Okay!”

The two then went to a courtyard in the middle of the mountain, and after pushing open a room door.

The woman respectfully bowed toward the center of the room and said, “Aunt, I’m back!”

At this moment, at the center of the room, another woman dressed in white stood, although her hair was slightly gray.

Nangong Jirou took the card, glanced at it, then exerted force with her palm, shattering it instantly.

“Go!” The woman said, turning her head again.

Nangong Jirou bowed respectfully, “Yes!”

After leaving the woman’s courtyard, Xiaoyun held Nangong Jirou’s hand and asked, “Sister Jirou, why does Aunt want you to go down the mountain to catch someone?”

“Don’t ask what you shouldn’t. Have you forgotten the rules?” Nangong Jirou glared at Xiaoyun and said.

Xiaoyun nonchalantly replied, “There’s no one else here, just us two.”

“Rules are rules!” Nangong Jirou tapped Xiaoyun’s forehead with her finger, “While I’m not home, take good care of Aunt!”

“I got it! Don’t worry, Sister Jirou!” Xiaoyun obediently said.

Nangong Jirou then went back to her room to pack simply and proceeded down the mountain.

At the bottom of the mountain, two people were walking slowly, although if others were present, they would notice their very steady breaths.

“I say, Feng Lingdu, what are you doing leading us around in circles in this mountain?” An Long complained a bit.

Feng Lingdu glanced back at An Long and said, “I just received news, the Nangong family might be in this mountain.”

These two were none other than Feng Lingdu and An Long, Feng Lingdu followed An Long back to the Dark Dragon Headquarters. But after staying there for a while, Feng Lingdu found it boring and insisted on dragging An Long back to Long Country.

“And you didn’t say a single word all day?” An Long felt a nameless fire rising within him.

Feng Lingdu looked at An Long in confusion, unsure why he was angry, “You didn’t ask me, and I was busy searching for traces, so I spoke less!”

“Is that speaking less? You haven’t said a damn word all day!” An Long’s mouth twitched with irritation, “You dragged me around the mountain all day, you bastard!”

Feng Lingdu was about to reply when a cold voice rang out:

“What are you doing here?”
