She rubbed her eyes and stretched, apologizing with some remorse:

"Dongzi, I was just too sleepy, and nodded off for a bit."

"Have you eaten? I’ve left some soup for you in the pot. I’ll go warm it up for you."

After saying that, she got up, ready to warm the soup in the kitchen of the suite.

Lin Dong caught her hand and quickly said, "Sister Bai Jue, I’m not hungry."

As he spoke, he pulled her into his embrace, gently stroking her face, and said with an apologetic look in his eyes:

"Sister Bai Jue, I’m sorry. You’ve waited a long time, I had some things to deal with today and came back late."
