Chapter 605: Ancient Martial Tai Chi Master Fang Yizheng

"Well, I’m not too sure about that either; it was my parents who bought it for me. What’s the matter? Big handsome guy, do you have any questions?"

The little girl blinked her watery eyes as she looked at him.

"No," Lin Zifeng said earnestly.

He certainly couldn’t blurt out the incident of the handsome guy saving Nangong Bing in front of them. Even if he did, who would believe it?

"Boo-hoo, the big handsome guy seems to have lost quite a bit of weight recently. Uncle, are you abusing him?"

"Why would I abuse him?" Lin Zifeng was speechless. Would a grown man like me pick on a dog?

It would just be a laughingstock.

"Alright, my big handsome guy, sister will take you out to eat something," she said.

Nangong Bing and Huahua had already gone out and started the car.

All four of them got into the same vehicle.

Especially since the big handsome guy’s huge canine body made the entire space inside the car feel somewhat cramped.

Lin Zifeng thought to himself that this St. Bernard wasn’t getting thinner at all; if it got any fatter, it might fill up the entire car with its solid and massive size.

Following the place specified by Liu Tangtang, after much effort, they finally found the food stall she had designated.

To put it in Liu Tangtang’s words, the food stall came highly recommended by one of her unscrupulous seniors, so the dishes there were bound to be delicious.

The old lady was not very keen to come tonight.

The afternoon’s events were still playing in her mind, but considering Liu Tangtang’s warm invitation, she did not want to disturb her and thus came along to this food stall. After Lin Zifeng had taken her to a food stall once before, she did not seem too prissy this time around.

With the first time, there’s bound to be a second.

As the four of them got out of the car, the bustling food stall suddenly drew the attention of many.

Joking aside, anyone driving a globally limited edition Lamborghini to a food stall is a clear sign of a remarkable identity, even to a fool.

Although the food stall was filled with people of all sorts, the presence of a Lamborghini parked on the edge of the road meant no one dared to provoke them. After all, in this day and age, having money was everything. Offending the wealthy was akin to courting death; they could beat you senseless in an instant.

The owner of the food stall was a sweaty, greasy, plump man who saw the group approaching his stall.

The boss instantly became joyful.

Three stunning beauties had arrived at once, and they were rich, driving a Lamborghini to boot.

The boss was not dumb, promptly handing over the menu with extraordinary service that surprised everyone around.

"What would you like to eat?" The boss was no fool; he could tell at a glance that these beauties were of a different status. If he did not treat them well, his food stall could be turned upside down in an instant.

"Boss, what are the special dishes here?" Liu Tangtang seemed quite excited. It was her first time eating at such a food stall, so her girlish instincts were fully on display.

"Uh, miss, whatever you want to eat, we’ll make it for you," the boss first paused, then, seeing Liu Tangtang’s cute and delicate demeanor, his heart warmed.

He thought a girl like her would be difficult to deal with, but she turned out to be easy to talk to, which made the anxious boss finally relax.

"Um? I don’t know, Uncle, why don’t you order? I don’t know what to eat, Tangtang," she said.

"Alright then," Lin Zifeng who had been sipping his tea, stood up.

Taking the menu from the boss, the boss watched Lin Zifeng with a tentative and bizarre look.

As if someone’s face had sprouted a flower.

"What’s the matter, Boss?" Lin Zifeng asked.

"Brother, you’re really fortunate," complimented the boss.

"Fortunate? What do you mean?" Lin Zifeng was also a bit puzzled by the boss’s comment.

"May I speak frankly?" the boss still feared making a wrong statement, worrying about offending the young man before him, with no idea of his actual standing.

"Speak," Lin Zifeng said with a smile, his eyes half-closed.

"Brother, landing these three beauties all by yourself has made us green with envy. If I could be a decade or so younger, I’d definitely follow you around without a second thought."

"Uh, boss, you might have misunderstood," Zifeng said.

"Misunderstood? Heh-heh, brother, I get it," the boss winked with a look that said ’men understand.’

At this point, Zifeng felt a bit annoyed, thinking to himself, what do you understand, really?

After ordering the dishes, the three women, utterly bored, began teasing the handsome guy—his excitement palpable with Liu Tangtang around.

He wagged his fluffy tail fervently, constantly licking the little girl’s palm.

The playful scene had them all laughing merrily, and even the old lady’s mood seemed to brighten considerably.

However, that stunningly cold face still appeared to lack a bit of warmth.

Yet, just then, Zifeng sharply sensed someone lurking in a corner!

Yes!

It was an intuition of danger!

"You guys sit tight for a bit; I’ll be right back," he said.

Zifeng’s face turned stern, his gaze like torches fixed on the narrow alleyway across the street.

He always felt like someone was watching him, which wasn’t a pleasant feeling.

Having had a stint in the life of a martial artist, he was particularly sensitive to such sensations. The feeling of being spied on from the shadows was quite unsettling.

"Where are you going?" Nangong Bing suddenly asked.

"Just sit tight and don’t leave this spot, I’ll be back shortly," Zifeng asserted, his demeanor instantly more serious.

The gravity with which he spoke indicated it was not without reason.

Now that Nangong Bing knew his identity, she didn’t question his words but seemed to grow a little worried upon hearing them.

"Uncle, where are you going?" Liu Tangtang abruptly stood up from her little stool, her lips pursed around a pair of chopsticks she had just unwrapped.

Zifeng’s face remained grim, offering no answer to her question.

He headed toward the road across with an icy demeanor.

"Nangong Sister, where is Uncle going?" Liu Tangtang looked at her with a pitiful expression, seemingly upset that Zifeng had just ignored her.

"Uh, he probably went to the restroom," Nangong Bing replied, her cheeks blushing slightly, aware she was deceiving the little girl.

"Oh, okay," the little girl nodded her head.

Jumping over the railing, it was as if time had stood still, and the air grew tense.

The man’s eyes, fierce as a tiger’s, were fixed intently on the alley, as if it concealed a ferocious beast within its depths.

The alley was pitch black, nearly impossible to see through with the naked eye.

Moreover, the surrounding silence was palpable, with not a soul in sight.

The man’s presence began to surge as he steadily approached the darkened alley.

"Come out; I’ve already noticed your presence," Zifeng stated indifferently.

Before long, footsteps echoed from within the quiet alley.

"Ha-ha, kiddo, you’ve got quite the eye," true to Zifeng’s words, a clear voice rang out from the darkness of the alley almost immediately after he spoke.

The voice sounded aged, likely belonging to an elderly person.
