Chapter 505: Chapter 484: The Photo

In the garden, everyone is a king in their own field, at least an ace capable of standing alone.

An ace is the threshold to enter the garden.

Every operation in the garden makes the ace seem not so valuable.

After Gao Yi finished talking about what he was going to do, several people exchanged glances, and then Dani asked in confusion, "Is it just this little matter?"

Dani had a foul mouth, but he tried his best to restrain himself. Questioning Gao Yi’s demand for being too simple was the limit of his expression of disdain.

Sith didn’t say much; he was purely action-oriented. When it came to those sinister and wicked things, he wasn’t as good as Dani and Xinfeng.

Xinfeng gave a much better impression, calmly saying, "This is very simple. If just framing can resolve this act, then it’s too easy. We now need the video footage of Ludelins."

Gao Yi didn’t know what Xinfeng planned to do, but since he said it was simple, it must be very simple.

Alexander whispered, "We have a photo of Ludelins, let me see if I can find some videos. His security clearance is very high, but there must be some footage of public activities."

Gao Yi curiously asked, "What to do, just make a few fake images?"

Dani immediately said, "No, fake photos made by computer PS are too easily seen through. To create a scandal targeting a deputy director of the KGB, we at least need methods that cannot be verified or disproved in a short period. So, we’ll perform live, real shooting."

Gao Yi promptly said, "Makeup?"

"Yes, we have someone ready. Lucy can play the lead female role, then someone can disguise as Ludelins."

Gao Yi frowned and said, "Lucy?"

Xinfeng waved his hand and said to Gao Yi, "Let Lucy do makeup, fabricating a face that doesn’t exist in this world."

Alexander suddenly said, "Actually, there can be a prototype. If needed, I can find a woman, making it more realistic."

Alexander’s meaning was to actually find a woman to fake some illicit relationship with Ludelins. However, according to Alexander’s method, this woman would definitely end up doomed.

This group of people were not good characters, sacrificing a stranger would not trouble Alexander in the slightest, nor would it cause him any psychological burden.

Xinfeng shook his head, saying, "No need, finding a woman with clear origins could make Ludelins’s crime more evident, but the investigation would also be quicker. It’s better to blur everything, merely put Ludelins in a situation where he’s under investigation."

Sith suddenly said, "How about linking Ludelins with the CIA? The charges would be heavier."

Xinfeng still shook his head, saying, "No need, the charges would be too serious. If Ludelins is connected to the CIA, he would stop all work to cooperate with the investigation, and the KGB would also investigate thoroughly. They could either prove him innocent or convict him, but this would actually clear his name."

Alexander also whispered, "Yes, leaving Ludelins with a life stigma that he cannot prove innocent or clear would be the best result."

Not only ruining Ludelins’s chance to become director this time but also forever cutting off his possibility of becoming the director.

Dani shrugged and said, "I’ll do Lucy’s makeup."

Gao Yi knew makeup; Lucy did as well. These were basic skills for assassins, so Gao Yi said, "No need, I’ll do her makeup."

Dani looked at Gao Yi, puzzled, and said, "Pixel-level recognition isn’t about hiding your true face; it’s about creating another image. Are you sure your amateur makeup skills can handle it?"

Gao Yi thought for a moment and dared not speak.

Xinfeng said, "The focus is Ludelins. Lucy’s appearance doesn’t matter; as long as she is beautiful enough. Don’t consider Lucy’s makeup now, let’s focus on Ludelins to avoid any oversights."

Dani smirked and said, "Alright, what are you waiting for? Get Ludelins’s photos and videos; we need to start working."

Alexander thought for a moment, considered, and said, "Ludelins doesn’t appear in public. I have two photos now, but for higher clarity videos, I need to go back to the forest and extract them from the internal network."

"Then hurry up."

Alexander took out his phone, and after a long time, he extracted three photos in total.

One is a headshot, though the facial features are very evident, it’s basically useless, just for reference.

Another is a photo in a conference room; Ludelins is sitting near Nikolai, turning his head to look at something, only a major part of his profile is captured.

The third photo is Ludelins mingling in a crowd, positioned at the back, a side shot of him.

"With these three photos, we can basically piece together a full-body image of Ludelins. Use me as reference for height, 176 cm, with an error under one centimeter."

Alexander himself was in the photos; several people passed the photos around, spending varying lengths of time on them, but after viewing, each had a pensive look.

Alexander sent the photos, then stood up and said, "I’ll go back for the videos; if you’re not leaving, I’ll return here later."

"Alright, you go, hurry."

Letting Alexander leave on his own, Gao Yi said to Xinfeng and the others, "Let’s start, what do we do now?"

"Fix the marker points."

Xinfeng mentioned a term, but Dani blandly said, "We call it information coordinates."

The two examined the photos together, then Dani said to Gao Yi, "Bring paper and pen, get a computer."

The preparation was quite simple: a few sheets of paper, two pens, Xinfeng’s computer, and a tablet. That’s enough to start working.

Dani carefully examined Ludelins’s eyes and eyebrows in the headshot, then wrote a few numbers on paper.

Xinfeng was looking at Ludelins’s seated photo and said, "There’s a difference in the eyebrows between this and the headshot; it’s not due to the angle."

"The headshot has retouched eyebrows; the everyday photo shows longer eyebrows."

As Dani spoke, he wrote two more numbers on the paper.

Gao Yi couldn’t quite understand but silently learned.

"What is this?"

Xinfeng pointed at Ludelins’s chest and said, "Neither photo captured the full detail; seems like the side of his tie clip is protruding."

"Magnify."

The image was enlarged, but as it became larger, it turned blurry, eventually becoming a mosaic.

Dani said to Xinfeng, "You can restore the photo, right?"

"I can."

Xinfeng was very skilled with electronic devices, able to make the photo clear.

The photo gradually became clearer, and as Xinfeng operated, Dani asked, "What technique?"

"High Pass and Overlay technique, creating a high-frequency layer of image edges over the original to enhance clarity."

Xinfeng used software on his computer, making the indistinct image gradually clear.

A golden tie clip with what seemed like some geometric patterns on its edge.

"It’s done; the other photo now."

The magnified restored photo was Ludelins’s sitting portrait, now moving to enlarge Ludelins standing among the crowd.

Both photos had the same unclear point, but this time after enlarging and repairing, the pattern on the second photo became clearer.

Dani looked for a moment and said, "The same tie clip."

"The time gap is significant; the first photo was early spring, the second this summer, months apart, same tie clip. This is his fixed accessory; we need a complete view."

Xinfeng supplemented what Dani didn’t say, so Gao Yi understood that while crucial, it wasn’t critical, but must be present.

This tie clip is an important part of Ludelins’s image, necessary when doing a character portrait of him.

"Shoe style isn’t fixed, more photos would help. At least three samples over different times can determine his heel height."

Dani noted something on paper and then scrutinized Ludelins’s photo again, "The gap between the two photos is long, but the hairstyle is almost identical. He has a regular barber and cuts hair on schedule. He’s very regimented."

Xinfeng casually said, "No wedding ring."

"Not all Russians wear wedding rings, but they like to showcase their stable marriages to prove they’re reliable. More likely, Ludelins isn’t married, but Alexander can provide accurate information on this; no need for excessive focus."

"Can’t see his watch."

"For sure has one, it’s important."

Dani and Xinfeng casually conversed, while Sith remained silent but kept watching the photos closely.

Gao Yi felt somewhat redundant, so he couldn’t help glancing at the stopwatch on his wrist.

This watch was intriguing; Gao Yi couldn’t resist turning the timer knob, clicking once to watch the still second hand start timing.

When Gao Yi realized he’d lost focus, he quickly pressed the reset button and tightened the loosened timer button.

Just that little lapse, and he completely lost track of Dani and Xinfeng’s conversation.

"Group behavior relies on the backend."

"Work status skews slightly forward."

Each word was understandable, but strung together, it made no sense.

Luckily, Gao Yi could immediately ask, not fearing no response from Dani and others.

"What does it mean?"

Dani said blandly, "He habitually hides in crowds, prefers staying towards the back, but not on the edges or outskirts."

"When needing to assert his status, he carefully positions himself prominently. A cautious person, with a strong desire for power, expressing presence whenever necessary."

Gao Yi couldn’t help asking, "Is it useful?"

Dani unhesitatingly said, "Not useful for you, but very useful for us. Don’t speak, just quietly watch."
