True Solution of the Sword Dao
Chapter 85 - 85 80 Seeds 2

Chapter 85: Chapter 80 Seeds 2 Chapter 85: Chapter 80 Seeds 2 The transparent sphere gently oscillated with faint ripples. At the center, a green seed and a transparent True Force Core were merging, almost fully integrated except for a tiny portion. Lin Fei clutched the Longsword Ring, hand on the hilt, his entire state highly focused. Despite the fluctuations of True Force seemingly visible only to himself, at such a critical moment, he couldn’t help but feel nervous.

A warm breeze brushed across his hands and face, carrying the faint scent of the forest. He could still hear the noise of tourists and the chirping of birds. The slight chill from the hilt gradually relaxed Lin Fei as he focused intently on the core. The merging of the core and seed accelerated more and more. With each wave of special vibrations that resonated into Lin Fei’s mind, he knew the fusion was about to be complete.

Suddenly, a subtle sound of footsteps rapidly approached from his direction. Lin Fei instantly tensed up, the ring slightly opening a gap as he looked towards the source of the sound. A dark-haired man quickly appeared around the corner of a wall, and as soon as he emerged, he noticed the core and seed suspended in mid-air.

The man paused, and without hesitation, Lin Fei’s longsword flashed out of its scabbard. Propelling forward with force, the silvery blade, following inertia and momentum, traced a slightly curved arc aimed diagonally at the man’s legs.

“Clang!” Like striking a metallic surface, the blade stopped less than two centimeters from the man’s body, sending a tremendous rebound force directly at Lin Fei.

It threw him violently backward. The powerful inertia dragged his feet across the ground, carving deep marks, yet unable to stop the immense momentum.

“Looks like it’s something important!” the dark-haired man chuckled, walking up to the edge of the sphere and reaching out to grab the core.

With a surge of urgency, Lin Fei rapidly retreated while, without much thought, his longsword swirled, instantly illuminating a huge blue Divine Beast behind him. Numerous silver Longsword Rings bombarded the man.

“Useless!” A black totem glowed behind the man as countless black threads shot out, instantaneously forming a black Tower Shield in front of him.

“Clang!!” Numerous sword rings instantly merged into one, the longsword fiercely colliding with the Tower Shield. Lin Fei’s original form vanished, reappearing in an instant in front of the dark-haired man.

Almost as soon as the sword touched the shield, a recoil far exceeding the previous one viciously struck Lin Fei.

“Thump!” Lin Fei grunted, thrown violently backward into the forest behind him, stirring a loud rustling noise.

The man then turned, reaching for the core suspended mid-air. Just then, the core and seed completed their fusion, the transparent sphere instantly vanished, and the newly formed pale green core fell directly into the man’s palm.

At that moment, a faint ripple of True Force instantaneously spread out.

Blood trickled from the corner of Lin Fei’s mouth as he lay in the forest, his face revealing a slight smile.

Only he could sense the True Force, and within this trace of it was an explosive, frantic aura, as if it were mixed with countless impurities.

“This is the scent before an explosion,” he said, leaning against a tree trunk, his gaze piercing through the gaps in the trees towards the black-haired man holding the core. The man, completely unaware, was closely examining the new core, oblivious to the violent energy within.

“Hey!” the dark-haired man called out to Lin Fei. “What is this thing? Is it important to you?” He asked with a friendly face.

“Yes, it’s very important,” Lin Fei couldn’t help but cough lightly, returning the question just as amiably, “Who are you?”

“I am Andrew, by the way. What exactly is this thing for?” The man, calling himself Andrew, smiled as he gently tossed the new core in his hand.

Lin Fei also displayed a faint smile. “Do you think I would tell you?”

“Then let me guess, since I’m bored anyway,” the man shrugged. The confrontation between the two had been extremely brief, but the outcome clear. The sound had been so faint, it had attracted no bystanders.

“Is it for playing?” He said aloud.

“For smelling?”

“For collecting?”

“For touching?”

“For eating!”

“For looking at!”

As the last question was asked, Lin Fei suddenly tensed, the glimpse of anxiety fleeting, but the man’s face involuntarily displayed a smirk.

He directly brought the core up to his eyes, examining it closely.

Just then, Lin Fei suddenly regained a calm expression.

“Boom!” A deafening explosion erupted, instantly scattering countless pieces of soil and debris into the air. At the center where the man stood, a ring of pale green light burst forth. The intense shockwave once again violently threw Lin Fei back several meters, slamming him against a large tree trunk. Fortunately, a fleeting blue tassel appeared, just in time to block the impact.

This was the first time since he began his cultivation of swordsmanship that he had encountered such a formidable opponent. Although he hadn’t used his full strength just now, just two probing attacks were enough to injure him from the recoil alone, undoubtedly suggesting that the enemy could very well be at Level C.

Data on Level C Psychics in the records mentioned little, only noting that Level C Psychics could freely resist most thermal weapons. However, the explosion of a thermal weapon is merely a momentary burst of force that can easily cause damage, but a True Force Core is different.
