True Solution of the Sword Dao

Chapter 240: Chapter 230 Golden Clothes 2

"According to the set standard: Crimson Hand 502-515."

"That high?" Lin Fei was slightly startled.

"Assess my strength."

"Sword Master: 101-132."

"Has it really improved?" Lin Fei pondered, her head bowed. "Previously, I was not even at one hundred. But now, with the Divine Artifact and having unleashed the Extreme Shadow once, it’s only natural that the overall assessment has increased."

"But with a value less than two hundred, I am still worlds apart from a B-class fighter." Two hundred is the minimum threshold for B-class fighters. This isn’t simply the sum of two hundred D-class Initial Stages stacked together but represents a more qualitative change.

"Given my current progress in Qi Cultivation up to the Second Layer of strength, even if I complete it all, my strength will reach an extremely powerful level. Maybe it could reach the B-class standard. Or maybe not. After all, Qi Cultivation is just for laying the foundation, improving all aspects of the Sword Master’s physical attributes to achieve the best conditions for Cultivation of the Sword Canon. In itself, Qi Cultivation actually has no offensive capabilities. It simply provides me with attributes, and how to use and display them is up to me." Lin Fei was well aware of the role of Qi Cultivation.

If she wanted to rapidly increase her combat power, relying solely on Qi Cultivation was useless.

Lin Fei exited the testing space and returned to the white space.

"Select a trial opponent."

As soon as the words left her mouth, a giant silver book appeared in front of Lin Fei. The pages slowly turned, filled densely with numerous names of sword techniques and sword skills. As Lin Fei moved her gaze over each name, the related summary information automatically surfaced in her mind.

****************

Lin You tried hard to get up but felt she had completely lost control over her body.

The evening sun’s rays fell within the pale green barrier.

Chris clutched her left arm, leaning against the basketball hoop, with blood pooled on the ground. Despite her calm expression, the fine sweat on her forehead indicated the intense pain she was experiencing.

The blonde woman rubbed her wrist and walked over to Lin You, looking down at her with disdain.

"Is this all the strength your Second Stage Transformation has?"

She stepped on Lin You’s metal gloves which she wore after her Second Stage Transformation. The gloves were silver-white, clearly matching her ice attribute, and were decorated with many intricate patterns, complex like a circuit board.

"I haven’t lost yet!" Lin You struggled, gritting her teeth.

Crack!

A layer of frost instantly encased the blonde woman’s foot and continued to spread upwards.

"So weak," the blonde woman scoffed lightly, easily breaking free with her foot from the spreading frost.

"And stupid," she said mercilessly, crushing Lin You with her words. "Seven times!"

"Seven times in a row, I let you attack first, but you couldn’t even touch the hem of my clothes."

Lin You clenched her lips, remaining silent.

"Despite that, your will is commendable, with no intention of giving up."

"So, what are you implying?" A black light appeared, and Feil detached from Lin Fei’s body, transforming back into a black cat.

Lin You was taken aback. She turned her head to look at Feil. Chris looked over with equal confusion.

"Feil?"

The blonde woman tossed her long hair and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Barely passable," she said.

"Feil? What exactly is going on?" Lin You was completely stunned.

Feil didn’t rush to answer but directly spoke to the blonde woman: "Merrill, could you please heal Chris’s wounds first?"

The blonde woman casually threw out a green leaf, which melded into Chris’s body. All her wounds immediately began to rapidly heal.

"Let me introduce her again," Feil began, but was abruptly interrupted by the blonde woman, Merrill.

"Don’t misunderstand, I didn’t say I’d join you," Merrill said disdainfully. She gestured with one hand, and a black seed instantly flew out from Lin You’s body.

"Uh," Feil was also stunned.

Lin You slowly got up, seeming to regain control of her body.

"You guys are too weak," Merrill said contemptuously. "Hanging around with you would just hold me back." She turned and was ready to leave.

"What are you acting all high and mighty for!"

Suddenly, Lin You’s voice rang out.

Merrill turned around.

"What? Got a problem?"

Lin You stared intently into her eyes.

"I admit you’re strong! But I’ve only just been exposed to parallel abilities recently. And you, how long have you been studying and practicing them? What right do you have to call us weak! Your strength is merely the result of time accumulated!"

"Is that so?" Merrill looked at Lin You. "Did you know? From childhood to now, everyone who dared speak to me like that has died."

"Is that so?" Lin You’s face showed a mocking smile. "Pathetic, can’t even handle that tone? Truly fragile!"

"I’m fragile?" Merrill smiled instead. "Are you implying that you will definitely be stronger than me in the future?"

"Of course!" Lin You answered without hesitation.

The others said nothing, just watching the two argue.

"Fine, I’ll join you for now," Merrill said indifferently.

"Great! With you..." Feil was about to rejoice.

"Don’t get too excited; I won’t provide you any combat support or help, just medical backup," Merrill looked at Lin You with a mocking smile. "I’m curious to see how you manage to become stronger than me step by step."

Lin You met her gaze unflinchingly.

"If you can’t surpass me in four years, I’ll kill you and then all your family," Merrill stated flatly.

Lin You’s heart chilled, but her face showed a resolute expression.
