Chapter 206: Chapter 199 Star Shattering 1

In the white space,

Ye Yuhua’s delicate hands lifted lightly, her expression cold and aloof.

"Starshine!"

A dazzling orb flashed into existence before her, then vanished in an instant. Just for a moment, numerous sizzling sounds faintly scattered in all directions.

Following that, Ye Yuhua lightly tapped her toe, her whole body, holding a longsword, quickly approached Lin Fei. The tip of the sword sparkled with brilliant starlight.

"The same move again?" Lin Fei’s face was solemn as he could clearly feel a tremendous force pulling him, making it impossible to escape, forcing him to confront the sword head-on. Unfortunately, when it came to explosive power, there was a world of difference between him and Ye Yuhua.

Crack!

The Black Demon Sword shattered again into countless pieces. Lin Fei’s expression remained calm as the longsword pierced through his left chest. His form suddenly dissolved into countless particles of white light.

He reappeared in the Swordsmanship Club’s Sword Room.

Yuan Yicheng sat cross-legged across him, silently cultivating his True Force. Perhaps he heard Lin Fei’s movement, he opened his eyes.

"Master, another failure?"

Lin Fei nodded and stood up, taking the Black Demon Sword to the window. The sky outside was overcast. From his position, he could also see pedestrians and vehicles passing by downstairs. It was nearly noon, and downstairs, one could clearly see some long-haired girls in white robes from the Swordsmanship Club chatting and laughing together. The boys holding swords seemed eager to show off their skills.

The longswords of the Swordsmanship Club could be bought for practice, and this batch were all recently recruited new members, still full of enthusiasm. The boys imagined they had found a sacred ground for martial arts training from kung fu novels, while the girls were more enthralled by the glamorous image of Xu Ruoruo in white robes as depicted in the promotional brochures.

"The experts in the Trial Space are indeed extraordinary," Lin Fei sighed.

"Yes, those who can enter the Trial Space are all absolute geniuses or strong fighters; there is not a single weakling among them," Yuan Yicheng respectfully said.

Lin Fei turned his head to look at him.

This master, who had just resurrected from the space, had now completely merged into this world. Just the other day, he saw him chatting on a mobile phone, though who he was talking to remained unknown.

"Let’s stop here for today," Lin Fei picked up his coat from the nearby rack. Opening the door, he strode out of the Sword Room.

Walking down the corridor. Jiang Nan quickly ran after him.

"Brother Feifei, are we heading back?"

"Yes. Let’s go, Miss Ling will drive us," Lin Fei smiled.

During this period, giving Jiang Nan, Chen Yuanyuan, and Lin You tuition had lasted some time already. This so-called tuition was actually, in Lin Fei’s view, not just about thoroughly analyzing knowledge points, their structure, their highlights, and their practical applications but, more importantly, teaching the three, especially Jiang Nan and Chen Yuanyuan, how to find the learning methods that suited them best. After all, what works for others is the best for others; only what one comprehends oneself is most suitable. The saying ’Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’ embodies this principle.

The tuition had been ongoing for several days now and was showing preliminary results. Lin You’s progress was not apparent yet, but Jiang Nan and Chen Yuanyuan got it and seemed to have achieved some rudimentary yet promising results.

Coming out of the Swordsmanship Club. A black Audi was parked at the curb. The driver’s side window was open. A tall, handsome man stood by the window, talking to Little Ling inside.

As Lin Fei and Jiang Nan came down, they faintly heard the man speaking.

"...what is wrong with me, I can change it!"

Little Ling looked impatient.

"Everything about you is wrong, now don’t spoil the urban environment anymore, move aside!"

The man tried to speak again.

Lin Fei directly went over and opened the car door, with Jiang Nan following closely behind.

"Thanks, Little Ling."

"No problem." Little Ling’s smile bloomed.

Lin Fei nodded his head and sat in the back seat; Jiang Nan also swiftly got in.

The man’s eyes blazed with anger as he watched the two sit down naturally. He was about to speak but seemed to suddenly remember something, his expression changed, and then the Audi slowly began to move.

Little Ling spoke impatiently from inside the car, "Yu Feiyang, why don’t you just honestly go back and be the obedient young master, enjoying life? Why waste time here?"

"I won’t give up!" Yu Feiyang shouted aloud.

Sitting in the back seat, Jiang Nan looked speechless.

"It seems like one of those scenes from Korean dramas..."

"That’s just the kind of person he is," Little Ling said helplessly. She glanced at the side mirror, Yu Feiyang was still standing there, staring blankly this way.

"This kid, I don’t know what’s wrong with him. All of a sudden he came over saying he likes me and wants to marry me. And lately, he’s been bothering me. It’s so annoying. Before, I just saw him as a little brother. Now it’s even more impossible."

"Miss Ling, are you explaining?" Jiang Nan chuckled.

"What do I need to explain?" Little Ling’s cheeks reddened. She stealthily glanced at Lin Fei through the rearview mirror.

The latter was resting his chin in his hand, leaning on the car window, looking outside as if pondering something, oblivious to the conversation here.

Little Ling, however, quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

Jiang Nan’s eyes flashed with an inexplicable color. His body subtly moved closer to Lin Fei, his face expressionless.

Upon returning home, Chen Yuanyuan and Lin You were already there.

"I’ll go warm up the food, there’s plenty left from yesterday afternoon," Jiang Nan said as he dashed into the kitchen. Their meal times had been like this for the past few days.

"We should go study in the room," Lin You said, holding a kitten and smiling.

Lin Fei nodded nonchalantly. It wasn’t time to start tutoring yet anyway.

"Come on, come here," Lin You suddenly pulled the reserved Chen Yuanyuan and ran towards Lin Fei’s room.

"What’s going on?" Chen Yuanyuan asked, bewildered, as she was dragged into the room.

As soon as Lin You entered the room, he immediately closed the door softly. Then, he looked around the room, his face crafty.

Chen Yuanyuan watched in silence as he searched—over the desk, under the bed, behind the door, and under the table.

"That’s odd," Lin You said, stroking his chin in resignation. "It should have been in these places..."

"What... exactly are you looking for?" Chen Yuanyuan asked curiously.

"Things guys usually hide in their rooms," Lin You answered elegantly.

"Is... is that so?" Chen Yuanyuan caught on, her lips twitching. "Do you like that kind of stuff? Quite a... unique taste..."

"How could I!?" Lin You’s face turned red. "I just want to expose that guy’s true character, hmph! Some people, you know their faces but not their hearts!"

"Who are you talking about?" Lin Fei asked with a smile as she pushed the door open. "Stop messing around, come eat, the food’s ready."

"Okay."

Chen Yuanyuan immediately responded politely.

Lin You looked unwilling, and after one last glance around the room, she finally left the room reluctantly under Lin Fei’s gaze, glaring fiercely at Lin Fei as she left.

After dinner, under Lin You’s resentment, Lin Fei started the afternoon’s tutoring session, which lasted until evening.

After Chen Yuanyuan left, Lin Jianguo and his wife came back, asked about the day’s events, and everyone began to wash up and get ready for bed.

Lin Fei also stopped his self-study of the last level of Tracing Shadow Sword Art. Returning to his room, he then entered the white space.

This mysterious Trial Space allowed the entire body to enter completely, even bringing items from the outside world into it, yet it enabled resurrection and recovery from battles time and again, no matter the severity of the injuries. This phenomenon amazed Lin Fei. For a space that could be entered physically, the ability to recover from all injuries after each battle was excessively powerful, undoubtedly living up to the grand reputation of the Sword Dao True Solution.

"Would you like to start the Star Shattering Sword Art trial?" An emotionless synthetic voice sounded.

"Yes," Lin Fei picked up the longsword, watching as Ye Yuhua’s figure slowly formed on the opposite side.

"The same two moves again?" he muttered.

Suddenly, a spark of realization flashed through his mind.

"Not right! The same two...moves? Two moves?" Lin Fei paused, "Why does she always use two moves together instead of just the latter one on its own?" He suddenly felt he was onto something crucial.

Having battled Ye Yuhua dozens of times, every time she used the second move, he instantly lost. Strangely, every time Ye Yuhua executed the first move, that formless light orb technique. Although the Formless Sword Qi was formidable and elusive, it was not difficult to counter for a master with slightly higher True Force Sensing. But why did she always use it first?

And the sequence never changed?

Lin Fei knew he was probably onto something crucial.

"Could the first move serve some special purpose?" Lin Fei focused. "Then I’ll try dodging the first move directly."

As soon as Ye Yuhua appeared, she seemed impatient.

"Even a wandering swordsman dares to enter the Trial Space? Ignorant of life or death!" She raised her hand gracefully. "Starshine!"

A dazzling light orb flashed in front of her and vanished.

Lin Fei’s figure also disappeared instantly, reappearing tens of meters away. This time he didn’t feel any blast of Formless Sword Qi. Evidently, there was a distance limitation. No need to block.

Ye Yuhua paused, seemingly surprised either by Lin Fei’s speed or some other reason.

"Quite a runner," she moved forward a distance before raising her hand again.

"Starshine!"

Lin Fei’s figure disappeared once more, appearing yet again tens of meters away in another direction. He still hadn’t been struck by any Formless Sword Qi.

This time Lin Fei clearly saw a change in Ye Yuhua’s expression.

"Are you from the Misty Rain Sect?" she asked unexpectedly, "Definitely. No one else would be so familiar with my Stellar Domain Sword Techniques. But dodging like this won’t help you win against me."

Lin Fei finally confirmed that the first move was indeed paving the way for the second. As for the rest, things like the Misty Rain Sect were naturally adversaries in the Stellar Domain, meaningless to him.

Since he confirmed that the Formless Sword Qi had the ability to pave the way for the second move, close combat was not an option. Once close, he couldn’t be quicker than the Sword Qi emitted by the flash of light from Ye Yuhua’s hand. The situation was still unsolvable just like before. (To be continued.
