Yan Ling’s heart fluttered hotly until she got in the car and thought of the child in the hospital whose fate was still uncertain. Only then did the heat in her heart subside.

The apartment was close to the hospital. It only took a few minutes by car to reach the hospital parking lot.

Upon hearing Yan Ling’s words, Dr. Xiao collapsed on the side of the bed.

He knew they needed to perform cranial surgery, but the child had lost too much blood to last till the end of the surgery.

Yan Ling knew it was wiser to give up at this point.

Because even if she performed the surgery, there was at most a 20% chance of success.

But the child was only seven years old.

She hadn’t had a chance to explore the world fully yet.

It would be such a waste if she departed so soon!
