And the presence of Bee and the other undead Cyclops which was as tall and huge and the undead Dragon man, the two guards and Lixin and Xile who didn’t know about their existence had fears and were soaked in cold sweat. The black gloomily death aura raising from the undeads was terrifying, if not because they saw that Xiao Ling and Yanzhi and Yue and her siblings standing alongside the undeads without care. They would have fled with their tails between their legs, it was taking them a lot of courage to even stay still and not piss themselves.

"Go back to the carriage if you can’t handle it" Yanzhi looked at them with disappointment and disdained, he said with a scorn.

No. 6 and No. 7, Lixin and Xile gulped nervously and fearful of Yanzhi’s annoyed look. They all cupped "master we can handle it!" and said respectfully in unison.

"Hmph" Yanzhi decided not to bother with them again.

"Ahhh!" Lixin, Xile, no. 6 and no. 7 fell on their butts as they screamed petrified. Yue, Liu and Chang even upon getting along with Xiao Ling’s undeads and knowing about Xiao Ling’s roots gasped uncontrollably. The door which opened in front of them, in it was like a void and hollow with only gloomy black smoke. It was as if the gate to the underworld was presented to them, the whole place reeked of death making their souls shaken.

The system notified. "Proceed" Xiao Ling instructed. The corpses broke down into smaller particles as they got sucked into the undead plain.

So they thought. That’s because they’ve never seen Yanzhi get very angry before. Xiao Ling sent the undeads into the undead plain before closing the doors and putting it away, they returned back to the carriage after he was done with it.

The Luo’s had already sorted themselves out and were waiting for them to depart, Yanzhi ordered for their departure after they got on the carriage.

"Are you tired?" he turned towards Xiao Ling who rested his head against the carriage. Yanzhi stretched his hand and wiped off the sweat on Xiao Ling’s forehead. Xiao Ling smiled, but he couldn’t bring himself to muster up the bright smile he intended to. "En. I’m a bit tired, i guess it’s too much for me to use up too much mana/qi. I’ll try to absorb some of the death qi i extracted." he answered truthfully and informed. Yanzhi retrieved back his hand, he took out a porcelain from his space. He fed a pill straight into Xiao Ling’s mouth, Xiao Ling swallowed the pill which was fed to him at ease. He became refreshed and the tiredness he was feeling was no longer unbearable "thank you" he said to YanZhi. "Close your eyes and rest for a bit" Xiao Ling nodded as Yanzhi suggested.

Yanzhi looked outside the carriage through the window, he looked at the clouds looking at the sun which was at its peak.

"No. 6 inform the humans behind, we will find an inn and rest for today and continue the next day" Yanzhi instructed no. 6, no.6 confused by the way he addressed but kept his curiosity to himself and turned back and rode to the Luo’s carriage.

Minutes later he returned back "master, Mr. Luo Cheng Yuan says there’s an inn not far away in front which we can stop there." No. 6 informed respectfully.

Yanzhi nodded "ride ahead and get us some rooms" he instructed again.

"Yes master. Hiya!" No. 6’s horse galloped at speed following behind him was one of of the guards of the Luo’s.

Yanzhi carried Xiao Ling who had fallen in his arms down the carriage when they got to the inn, looking at the exterior of the inn one could tell at glance that it was a luxury inn.

"Master this way" No. 6 informed respectfully as he started to guide them in.

Yanzhi walked behind no. 6 who lead them into the inn with the others behind as well as the Luo’s who followed behind the guard they sent on their part. Their odd group caught the attentions of the people in the inn, especially Yanzhi who was carrying the sleeping Xiao Ling in his arms. His elegant look and charming looks coupled with those green peculiar pupils called forth more attention. But Yanzhi had no care for when being watched by lowly beings who meant nothing. Luo Xia watched with envious eyes at Xiao Ling who was in his hands, and so did a couple of women who were caught in Yanzhi’s handsomeness and elegance saw Xiao Ling a ger with envy.

"Master this is yours and mistress’s room" no. 6 politely informed. Yanzhi nodded as Yue opened the door for him. "We will be in our room, do not let anyone disturb us" Yanzhi ordered with his voice laced with chillness.

They all cupped and saluted after he was done talking, he walked into the room leaving them behind. Just as Yue was about to close the door,

"Master Jun!" Luo Xia called out anxiously and nervously. Yue closed the door without minding the young girl who was anxious to speak to her master. And with her master’s temperament Yue knew that he wouldn’t want to talk to the human child, even calling out in a loud voice Yanzhi ignored her and didn’t instructed for her to be let in.

"Young miss Luo, my mistress is tired from the journey. My master intends to let mistress rest so he would not see you now, please come back later." Yue informed politely with good will, but Luo Xia glared at her resentfully.

"You child! Ai~ don’t disturb master Jun and his wife any longer. Let’s go to our rooms now, you can see Master Jun later or even tomorrow when we’re about to leave." Luo Cheng Yuan scolded her as her brother held her hand and pulled her along, she stomped her feet and followed them full of resentments.

"That child is behaving strange. I think she’s fascinated by Master’s beauty!!!" Liu who was quietly observing stated in an annoyed tone, her gaze fixated on the backs of the Luo’s.

"You think? I noticed so too, what naive thoughts she has!" Yue added. Her face stone cold and her eyes changed to that of a snake’s with a slit-like pupils, her fangs appeared. Her whole demeanor covered with chilled aura. Lixin, Xile and no. 6 and no. 7 watched with fears and awe. They already knew of Yue and her siblings not being humans and that their true forms were snakes, but seeing this part of Yue was scary yet magnificent to them.

"Senior sister Yue, calm down. You do not have to care for that human child. Just like you said, her thoughts are naive and childish." Liu talked her into calming down, Yue closed her eyes and took a deep breaths. She immediately returned to her usual self "junior sister Liu is right" she smiled and said.

"Instead of wasting your breaths on that lowly being, senior sister Yue and senior sister Liu should better guide master’s and mistress’s room better. Lest you anger master when mistress’s rest is disturbed." Chang who was standing against the wall with his hands crossed over his chest suddenly spoke with seriousness bringing them out of their heated discussion "I’ll take junior brother Lixin. Xile, no. 6 and no. 7 to take care of the carriage outside. You four follow me" he informed and instructed walking away with Lixin, Xile and the guards.

Inside the room Yanzhi who heard every conversation made behind the door, choose to ignore them. He slowly and carefully laid Xiao Ling down on the bed after using the cleansing technique to clean the whole room.

"Hmm" Xiao Ling turned and opened his eyes sluggishly when he was placed on the bed. Yanzhi sat beside him stroking his face and tucking the hair strands that got on his face away with care. Xiao Ling’s eyelashes trembled. "Sleep more" Yanzhi spoke in a low tone. "En!" Xiao Ling answered in his sleep, turned and positioned himself well into Yanzhi’s body. Without knowing it himself he seeked the warmth from Yanzhi’s body acting coquettish.
