Yanzhi sitting with his eyes closed and his legs crossed with his hands on each knee cultivating, Yanzhi opened his eyes in a sudden when he heard the groan of the youngster beside him on the bed. Xiao Ling squinted his eyes opening them, his gazes met that of Yanzhi who looked at him tenderly with worry.

"Mhhm~ Xiang gong?!" he asked not sure, his eyes which had just opened were blurry for him to see clearly and his mind and thoughts were messy.

"Little wife, you’re awake?" Yanzhi asked as he closed the gap between them stroking the face of the sleepy youngster. "Mhmm~" Xiao Ling groaned comfortably from his touches sounding like a purring cat. Yanzhi felt amused by his behavior which looked so cute and satisfying, he had a satisfied smirk on his elegant and manly face. "Sleep more if you’re still tired" he advised, but Xiao Ling shook his head refusing his good will.

Xiao Ling brought himself to a sitting position after arranging his memories, seeing that they were back in the bedroom of their home, he looked at Yanzhi asking "Xiang gong did you bring back home? How long was i out for?" his cheeks tainted with red blush as he imagined being carried princess style to the house by Yanzhi in such a messed up state. Yanzhi glanced upwards at him noticing his embarrassment but Yanzhi was at loss not knowing the reason for the youngster’s embarrassment. "I brought you home to recuperate quietly since i ordered the little ones to train there, you slept through the night" Yanzhi calmly explained, Xiao Ling nodded understanding his words. "What of doctor Shi and brother Jinhua?" he asked yet again. He got down from the bed, his face reddened up more seeing the new change of clothes on his body. And judging from the cleanliness of his body he could tell that he must’ve been wiped clean before getting dressed up in new clothes. "They left before first light, they both have the aptitude for cultivation so they were able to learn and understand what was thought to them. I wrote them a new breathing technique which was suitable for them." Yanzhi answered unconcerned with a lazy tone in an elegant manner.

"Hm? breathing technique? what’s that?" Xiao Ling asked with question marks appearing on his face. "Technique for absorbing qi from heaven and earth...." "But Xiang gong didn’t give me any technique book for that... Xiong gong favors others more than me!" Xiao Ling pouted resentfully saying just as Yanzhi’s words fell. "Pfft!" Yanzhi snorted seeing him behavior this childish, he got down from the bed and walked over to Xiao Ling. Yanzhi brought his hand to Xiao Ling’s face and started to stroke tenderly. "Little wife don’t talk nonsense, how can I favor others over you?" he said with a smile and in a calm soothing tone. Xiao Ling tilted his face up looking with their eyes staring into each other’s, he waited for Yanzhi to continue his unfinished words since in the tone which Yanzhi spoke, it sounded like there was more to add.

"Little wife you practice the same breathing technique as me, the technique I’m practicing is suitable for you as well. That’s why there was no need to give you a different breathing technique. What you practice is more advanced than what I gave doctor Shi and Jinhua, their dantian can’t withstand what you and I practice just as the little ones can’t withstand it too." Yanzhi explained as he listened on attentively. "Then...then you’ll really allow me to take whatever i want?" Xiao Ling asked emphasizing that he would really take them, Yanzhi still smiled brightly and warmly. And talking about elixirs, i have prepared an elixir bath for you, let’s start with your cultivation seriously this time. Yanzhi informed, he was baffled to see tears pooled in Xiao Ling’s eyes. His heart was filled with warmth and his heart beat for the innocent youngster, the corners of Xiao Ling’s lips arched up forming a beautiful free and bright smile. Xiong gong..... i adore you" his words flowed out freely being his first time ever confessing to a person, but because he was saying those words to YanZhi, the words were free with honesty. Yanzhi was dumbfounded and froze, his gaze focused on Xiao Ling with his words stuck behind his throat as he remained speechless. His mind suddenly felt muddy loosing the ability to think, his focused gaze on the beautiful warm smile of the youngster displaying a scenery which was unfamiliar with him, his heart beat fiercely.

"Xiang gong?" the youngster called still smiling. "Xiao Ling!" he also called out regaining himself. "En?" the youngster answered in his nasal smiling more brightly. Yanzhi closed the distance between them and suddenly took the lips of the youngster into his, they kissed sucking on each other’s tongues as they embraced and enjoyed each other’s touches like hungry wolves. After a while Yanzhi broke the kiss and rested his forehead against the forehead of the youngster "Xiao Ling you’re mine.... I’ll never let you go. Consider your life as a mortal over because for eternity you’re mine!" he declared boldly. Xiao Ling laughed hearing his declaration, "Xiang gong is also mine for eternity, I’ll never allow you to leave me" Xiao Ling also declared. They broke their intimacy with smiles and feeling belated.

"Xiang gong you said you prepared an elixir bath for me? Xiao Ling asked. "En! Your bones are weak, they need to be strengthened. Along with your body and soul. For now, along with absorbing qi, you’ll be taking elixir baths and elixir pills, I’ll spar with you for two hours a day. That’s for everyday from now. Is my arrangements okay for you?" he stated but also asked for Xiao Ling’s opinion. "En! I’m good with whatever Xiang gong arrangements!" said Xiao Ling nodding excitedly. "Then let’s go for today’s elixir bath" they walked out of the room as soon as Yanzhi’s words fell.

Outside in the yard of the house were uncle Feng and Aunt Feng doing the house works walking in and out of the kitchen and moving about in the yard, Xile was in a kowtowing state facing the entrance of the room. Yanzhi led Xiao Ling to the backyard ignoring the presence of the servants in the yard. Xiao Ling followed behind quietly also ignoring Xile who remained kowtowing, Xiao Ling didn’t bother to even ask knowing that if it was something important then surely Yanzhi would inform him, but seeing YanZhi without a care Xiao Ling came to conclusion that it was a trivial matter which he didn’t have to concern himself with.

"Take off your robes leaving only your inner pant and get in" Yanzhi instructed Xiao Ling when they got to the backyard, there was a big and wide bathtub already prepared filled to the neck with water and some herbs floating which were unfamiliar to Xiao Ling. Xiao Ling did as instructed taking off his robes leaving only his inner pant, his slender white chest was exposed without any coverings but he didn’t care about being exposed bare in front of Yanzhi. He climbed into the bathtub as instructed. "Sit in with your legs crossed" Yanzhi instructed again and he did just that. "Eat these elixirs" Yanzhi passed him a small peculiar looking box, he opened the box to find five round colourful of pills neatly sitting in the box.
