The others looked between all those people Xiao Ling talked about with admirations. There was no fears, not even the slightest. They had been with them for so many months and if they wanted to harm them they’d have long perished without knowing anything. The only thoughts on mind was envy and jealousy, they were jealous of their strengths and how they can cultivate faster than them, they now knew the reason for that. The only person with problems was Chuntao.

"Okay you all should go, let’s continue later." Xiao Ling quickly shooed them away, they were really unwilling to go but had to go because of the look on Yanzhi’s face.

"Chuntao you stay." As they started leaving one after the other Xiao Ling called Chuntao who looked to want to talk but didn’t have the courage. "What do you have to say? Just say it out, you’re now mine and Xiang gong’s daughter-in-law and the other half of our son, we have to take care of you while the cub is still young." his tone was full of seriousness.

"Br..... Are you my brother?" after staying mute for a while she directed her question to Yanzhi.

"What do you think?" Yanzhi asked coldly. She stood still and remained mute with a complicated expression for a while, after a while as if she found the answer to her question she returned back to her normal state. "Eldest brother forgive me. I asked rather a silly question." she bowed respectfully her tone regretful.

Yanzhi glanced at her and hummed without saying anything, but his tone and his expression was no longer cold. Xiao Ling also smiled shere she couldn’t see. "Then I’ll take my leave now." she said to them. Before going Yanzhi said to her "you should come and see the egg more often.....your bond will strengthen more." Chuntao stopped in her tracks "okay!" she responded without turning and left them to themselves.

"She’s not that bad!" Xiao Ling said satisfied with her. "En." Yanzhi hummed taking the nest from Xiao Ling and started feeding them with spiritual energy. As if they wanted to complain to the unreliable first time parents for starving them, the eggs shook once or twice as the were being fed.

Except for the elders and core residents of TianXin, no one else knew about Xiao Ling laying the eggs and the information exposed by him. The eggs got bigger and bigger as they were fed with spiritual energy by Yanzhi and it has already been a month and some days now since they were laid. They seem to have no sign of breaking out of the shell yet, their parents were relaxed about that but the brothers and sisters and uncles were so anxious that they were pulling on their hairs.

Recently they’ve been feeling the fluctuation in the teleportation of the secret realm and they knew that it was soon to open and forcefully send out those people in the secret realm and close again for a long time. The residents of TianXin sect weren’t at all affected by that and continued on with their lives.

After some days Yanzhi felt the strong fluctuation from the secret realm. "The secret realm is about to open in a moment!" he said to Xiao Ling by his side who was focused on teasing the eggs. He also sent messages to the elders consciously. "Now?" Xiao Ling stopped what he was doing and turned his attention to him. "En. Let’s go." Yanzhi hummed and said. They both stood up as Xiao Ling turned to aunt Feng and the two young servants "take care of them, we’ll be back soon." his tone was full of ordering. "We understand, grand elder." they bowed respectfully as they watched the two took off in the air.

Once arriving there Bee, Lin, Feng and Baihu were waiting for them. Not long after they arrived the secret realm opened and brought out everyone who was still alive before it closed again and the fluctuation of spiritual energy could no longer be felt from it. Looking at the about 230 out of the 300 people who went into the secret realm there was no ups or downs in the expressions of Xiao Ling and Yanzhi.

"A lot came out than I expected." Xiao Ling said thoughtfully. "It’s because I restricted places with very strong beasts. A lot still failed even when I wasted time to do that." Yanzhi sneered. "They’re truly weak!" he added.

"Xiang gong didn’t tell me about that." Xiao Ling snorted and asked. "It was too insignificant to remember."

While they were chatting to themselves the people who came out were but excited and petrified. Gloom and happiness was what they showed looking haggard and full of exhaustions. They were in groups as they supported their wounded and guarding their storage pouches. Amongst the 10 who came from master Zhang’s martial arts school only 7 came out Yu, Cheng Lin and a few others. And amongst the 20 from the Huang’s, 6 were lost. And from King Pingxi only 3 were lost from the 20. The group who came with 30 people only lost 5 amongst them. And amongst the 200 disciples of TianXin sect, 53 were lost. There were many injured in each group and some even missing limbs. Without further ado the none sect members were all escorted out of TianXin sect leaving only the disciples.

Seeing the state of the disciples Xiao Ling could see that they were in disharmony and not friendly to each other like before they went into the secret realm. He didn’t care about them, seeing the Jun brothers although looking to be a total mess with lot of life threatening injury and looked to be holding onto life for only a few hours he nodded thinking they’ve done well. He called onto Baihu and whispered to him to take away the brothers. Baihu cupped and went to do what was requested of him. "Okay, congratulations to you all for being able to make it out. As promised everything you gained there is yours to keep. You’re given five days to rest and heal before going back to practice. You all can go now." Xiao Ling said to them.

But instead of going they seemed to be in a stalemate as if wanting to report something to him. He frowned, "what else is left?" he asked impatiently.

"Grand elder it’s junior Qing Shuge, she is no longer able to practice and use internal force strength." Lian Huan reported respectfully, his tone cold with determination.

"Ooh?" Yanzhi interjected lazily. He didn’t ask for the reason or asked who harmed her that way. He didn’t even give Xiao Ling the chance to ask either. "Your state isn’t hopeless, the sect will give you a year to heal and start practicing all over again. After a year and you’re still unable to practice, you’ll no longer have to stay in the sect." he stated factly in a nonchalant attitude not bothering to give the girl looking at him in displeasure and her eyes looking at him as if saying he was being partial. In the secret realm anything can happen, siblings can fall out with each other fighting over cultivation resources. So why does he have to care about such things when they were obviously told all this before going in. Xiao Ling was in supporting of his way of handling things and left them without looking back.

The disciples also cupped respectfully to them and left one after the other. Huang Biyu snorted coldly at Qing Shuge who was standing there as if she had lost her soul, Biyu cupped respectfully to Lian Huan "junior Biyu thanks senior brother Huan for your help." she said to him. "It’s okay." Lian Huan nodded with a carefree look and walked away. Biyu also dragged Fei Qingyan along with her and left. Qing Zhuangzi sneered coldly at Qing Shuge and left without giving her a good look.

A few days after returning from the secret realm. In the imperial city in an enclosed courtyard, Immortal Pei was seated crossed along with a monk and two other cultivators as they listened to a young man report something to him. If Xiao Ling and Yanzhi were to see the young man they’d recognized him as the leader of the group with 30 people who went into the secret realm and came out with 25 people. Looking at the pile of things poured out from the storage bags immortal Pei seemed to be very excited.

"Amitabha! All these were gotten from the secret realm?" the monk asked in disbelief.

"Yes, head monk Yu. Everything came out of the secret realm. There are more valuable ones, but because we’re not strong enough we couldn’t fight the beasts guarding those caves." the young man said apologetically.

"Amitabha! You’ve done well, you don’t need to say anymore." the monk said with an encouraging smile. "Immortal Pei, what do you think we should do? TianXin sect the more we delay the harder it will get to subdue them!" he turned to immortal Pei and said viciously.

Immortal Pei didn’t answer to him but rather asked, "what did you do with those foxes?" he turned to the other two cultivators looking to be sect leaders and asked. "They’re still under captive. Without them their chief won’t listen to us. Apart from the one we lost the rests are all there." one clothed in purple with a white goatee answered.

"Good! I’ve been able to comprehend more from the book, it says one can cultivate and advance by absorbing the beast core of spiritual beasts and demonic beasts. Let’s use all those foxes to experiment, kill them all." Immortal Pei told them.

They were astonished and full of expectations. "It’s good to learn something new, but what should we do about the fox chief? You know he wouldn’t listen to us anymore if we kill those foxes, we’re only able to keep him under control because of those foxes in captive. What will happen when he learns that they’re dead? He won’t listen to us anymore and we’re not a match for him!" the other cultivator in white interjected with dissatisfactions.

"You’re right about that. Dual cultivation with him is still helpful for our cultivation, we can’t loose him yet!" the monk said with a sultry expression, he licked his lips looking intoxicated.

They all frowned. "We just have to keep him from finding out for a sometime while we cultivate with their beast cores. Once we advance we can go up against him together and slay him then take his beast core too, his will be much stronger." immortal Pei said calculative. They all nodded and agreed with his words. The young man standing there and listening wanted to tell them that the beast cores of those beasts in the secret realm should be far stronger but he was scared to implicate himself and chose to stay mute.

"We’ll go into secluded cultivation for a while, deal with things before we come out and gather all disciples and dead solders. We’ll infiltrate TianXin sect in full scale after we come out." Immortal Pei ordered.

"I understand!" the young man bowed respectfully before leaving them.

It was finally time for the eggs to hatch from their shells, and seeing the cracks on the eggshells it could be seen that they’ll hatch in a moment. Xiao Ling and Yanzhi sat with the nest between them. Bee and the others stood around them with expected eyes. After a while the breaking of the eggshells resounded in the hall being the only sound that could be heard. One after the other little snake heads emerged from the eggshells as three little snakes broke out from the eggs one after the other. Two snow-white snakes with green pupils and one white snake with black spots. Everyone were excited to see the snakelets. The snakelets let out their fork tongues to taste the smell in the air, the two snow-white snakelets climbed onto Yanzhi as the black spotted snakelet climbed onto Xiao Ling. "The one in your hand is a female and these two are males." Yanzhi said softly. In an excited and overjoyed mood Xiao Ling nodded. "Xiang gong...our children!" Xiao Ling said foolishly to him. "En. They’re beautiful." Yanzhi hummed and said as he stroke gently on Xiao Ling’s face.
