The workers stood in groups of twos and threes as they gossiped. They were fascinated by the appearances of Yanzhi and Xiao Ling and how noble and elegant they appeared to be.

"Why didn’t you tell me if you already knew?" he asked what was on his mind and bothering him through out the journey. "I thought it was impossible for you to ever conceive for me. Xiao Ling was muted by his words. He had thought of thousands explanation to receive from Yanzhi, but never did he expect this explanation. Yanzhi who was very quiet and expressionless couldn’t help but chuckle seeing his reaction. Apart from being shocked in the beginning he was not really affected, whether to keep the eggs or not he left it all to his little wife to decide, he himself didn’t care much about descendants. But if Xiao Ling did keep the eggs he will naturally take on his responsibility and make sure that both Xiao Ling and the cubs will live a worry-free lives for eternity.

"Little wife it seems you’re really going to lay eggs yourself." listening to Yanzhi’s joke he was reminded when Yanzhi teased him of laying an egg back then.
