Her gaze towards Fifth was less than friendly.

Xie Jingyang sighed internally, realizing that he could only play the villain.

"Qi’er, Xiao Si, Daddy is sorry. When Daddy makes enough money, he’ll bring you to Second Aunt’s place, alright? For this time, you’ll first accompany Daddy to Rongshu County." Just give Daddy a little more time, and he would be able to live together with his siblings.

He noticed it was one of the cigarettes they had prepared for guests yesterday. He hadn’t expected that Third Brother, who was practically quitting smoking after marriage, would have taken up smoking again.

"Third Brother?" Xie Jingyang felt uneasy seeing Third Brother’s expression, but he had always looked up to him and instinctively called out to him.
