Cai Wei laughed loudly without restraint, hitting and shouting, "Stop glorifying your vile and obscene master like that. No matter what you say, he’s a heartless, ungrateful cur, repaying kindness with resentment! That’s the truth, known to everyone on earth!"

Noticing that she couldn’t secure a win, Luo Xue feigned a punch. As Cai Wei dodged, she quickly tucked her hand into her bosom and when she pulled it out, she threw a handful of powder at Cai Wei.

"Oh crap—"

Cai Wei was enjoying the fight, not expecting Luo Xue to make such a move. Startled, she quickly tried to dodge backwards.

The powder arrived swiftly, too quick to avoid completely. She managed to dodge a significant amount, but some still landed on her body. As soon as the powder touched her, she felt weak and her legs gave way, causing her to fall straight down to the ground.

Feeling dizzy, she didn’t forget to summon Brother Parrot using her consciousness. She gave a cold, forced smile to Luo Xue, which seemed to say ’just you wait’. This time around, it was time for Luo Xue to feel her power! After the smile, she fell into a deep sleep.

Brother Parrot, summoned by his master, was furious to see his master being bullied. His green eyes glaring, he let out a loud screech and charged toward Luo Xue like a sharp sword.

Brother Parrot, having missed the attack, tried to attack again but then was enveloped by a cloud of sweet-smelling powder. He felt dizzy and then collapsed from the sky, falling on his back... fast asleep.

Huo Yuan was seated in the VIP room, waiting for a while without Cai Wei’s return. He got curious and ordered the shopkeeper to check on her.

The shopkeeper, hearing Young Master Huo’s order, personally went to the dressing pavilion. Arriving at the entrance, he found Aunt Li, who was supposed to be attending to Cai Wei’s fitting session, lying unconscious on the ground!

The sight made the shopkeeper’s soul fly away and scatter in fright! He hurriedly crawled and ran back.
