This is a gesture to confirm and reward them for their service, though she had never received one herself.

Upon hearing this, Lin Mengxi thought of her round, glistening dragon form and found it somewhat adorable. She asked with concern, "Fairy Dragon, where are you trying to call?"

Was she trying to call another heavenly fairy? That would certainly never go through!

Helian Qiao responded, "I’m trying to call Gu in Kyoto."

Upon hearing this, Lin Mengxi laughed and explained, "Fairy Dragon, these public phones can’t make international calls. If you want to call back home, you’d have to go to the Chinese Consulate."

It was obvious that Fairy Dragon was traveling abroad for the first time.
