Chapter 132: Who Won?

"Come for me, Your Highness."

His cock twitched in her hands, and then, with a final stroke, he fell apart, his release spilling over her fingers, painting her skin white and into the water below them.

She watched him, her gaze tracing the curve of his lips, the angle of his jaw, the intensity of his eyes.

He was breathtaking.

And while she was admiring him, a small smile appeared on her lips.

A smile that said a million things and yet, nothing at all.

Because what could she say?

In her moment of bliss, she didn’t realize when Damian recovered and smirked, a dangerous glint in his silver eyes.

"You should have been careful, Evelina. You have no idea what you’ve just started."

Evelina didn’t even have a moment to comprehend his words.

Because just as she blinked, his fingers left her pussy hole as he focused on rubbing on her clit.

Evelina’s eyes widened, and before she could process what was happening, her second orgasm slammed into her, stealing the breath from her lungs.

She gripped his arms tightly, her nails digging into his skin as she rode out her high.

Damian’s fingers kept moving, drawing out every last drop of pleasure from her body until she was a trembling, boneless mess.

They stayed like that for a while, his hands stroking her skin gently, their bodies pressed together in the warm water.

But then, Evelina heard his voice in her mind, soft and seductive, "So... who won?"

Her face flushed as she glared at him.

"Neither," she answered.

"Oh, sweetheart..." Damian’s fingers traced down her spine, making her shiver. "That’s where you’re wrong."

"No," Relia said.

"What?" Evelina asked, confused.

"Neither of you did."

"Huh?"

"Both of you lost."

"Wait, what?"

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"You two were too focused on proving a point that you didn’t realize something."

"Which is...?"

"That no matter who won, Storm and I still got what we wanted. A sexy moment."

Evelina didn’t know whether to laugh or scream. She let out a shaky breath as she tried to process what had just happened. Her limbs felt like liquid, her skin still tingling from the aftershocks of pleasure.

Damian, the insufferable bastard, smirked down at her like he had just won a war.

She wanted to wipe that smug look off his face.

Instead, she leaned forward, brushing her lips over his jaw before whispering, "Don’t get too cocky, Your Highness."

Damian chuckled, the sound sending a shiver down her spine. "Too late."

She rolled her eyes and pushed him away, making a point to stretch her arms languidly. "Well," she said, feigning indifference, "now that that’s settled, I’d like actually to bathe."

Damian arched a brow. "By all means," he murmured, shifting back just enough to give her space. "But you’re not fooling me."

Evelina smirked as she reached for the soap. "I have no idea what you’re talking about."

"Mm-hmm."

She ignored the way he watched her, his silver eyes tracking every movement as she lathered her skin.

But then—Damian moved again.

Before she could react, his hands were on her hips, pulling her back against him.

"Damian—"

He tilted his head, pressing a slow, lazy kiss to the mate mark on her neck. "I just thought I’d return the favor."

Evelina sucked in a sharp breath, her fingers twitching as she felt intense pleasure from there, spreading through her body like liquid fire.

Relia sighed dreamily. "This is nice. I approve."

Evelina forced herself to stay still, refusing to give him the satisfaction of knowing just how much he affected her. "Are you going to help me bathe," she asked sweetly, "or are you just here to tease me?"

Damian smirked against her skin. "Why not both?"

Evelina rolled her eyes and turned in his arms, placing her hands on his chest and pushing him away.

"That’s enough," she said firmly.

Damian chuckled, finally stepping back. "Fine, fine." He ran a hand through his damp hair. "I suppose I’ll let you bathe in peace."

Evelina narrowed her eyes. "I don’t trust you."

"You shouldn’t."

She shook her head, biting back a smile as she resumed bathing.

Damian joined too.

After a significant amount of time, they finished bathing without any further incident—mostly.

Damian, of course, had to push her buttons every now and then, but Evelina refused to give him the satisfaction of a reaction.

Still, the heat between them never fully faded.

Evelina stepped into the room, towelling off her damp hair as she watched Damian dress.

To her amusement, he pulled on a pair of black boxers and a loose short.

Evelina smirked. "Huh. I thought you said you sleep naked."

Damian, standing near the dresser, glanced at her over his shoulder, his lips curling into a knowing smile.

"I do," he said smoothly, arranging the waist band of the shorts. "But I’m trying to avoid situations that would leave you gasping and tired by morning."

Evelina stared at him, her face heating.

Damian grinned.

She snapped her gaze away and cleared her throat. "How considerate of you."

"Mm." He took a step closer, lowering his voice. "We still need to find the person behind the poisoning, after all."

Evelina exhaled sharply. "Right. Priorities."

Damian lifted a hand, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

His touch was gentle this time, almost... soft.

Evelina frowned slightly. "What?"

Damian’s silver eyes held something different now. Less teasing, more... serious.

"When this is over," he murmured, brushing his knuckles along her jaw, "I’m going to take you away from all of this."

Evelina blinked.

Damian’s gaze didn’t waver. "Somewhere quiet. Somewhere with no conspiracies. No assassins. No deadlines hanging over our heads."

Evelina felt something warm bloom in her chest.

"You’re promising me a vacation?" she teased, trying to lighten the moment.

Damian smirked. "Call it what you want." His fingers trailed down her arm slowly. "But I’m not letting you out of my sight."

Evelina snorted. "You make it sound like I’d try to escape."

Damian’s gaze darkened slightly as he lowered his voice.

"You wouldn’t."

Evelina’s breath caught.

And gods, she hated how much she liked hearing that.
