============

During their game days, KiRA was able to meet someone who worked in a small cafe on the 3rd floor.

She wasn’t too old, but it seemed like she loved working there and making food more than anything else.

Making food and cleaning up the place were some of the few things she enjoyed but, there was something special about her that most players ignored, her unique skill {Words of encouragement}.

It was a simple skill that could cheer someone up, a skill that most believed was a support skill that boosted the morale of the party members.

Not much was known about skills back then so he knew even she did not know about that skill much. Even he did not know what this skill was truly capable of... until he reached the 60th floor and met a certain Elf, that is.

"Is it true that you were looking for me? They said you specifically asked for someone with my ID and description."

Since there were no avatars in Tower of Beginning, people had the same appearance as real life in the game as well.

It made it possible for him to give the agency her description and he thought it would take time. But, they were lucky this time.

She lived just a few cities away and was willing to come all the way here for an interview.

"That is correct, Miss Moon. I believe you wouldn’t remember me, but I used to visit [Louch’s Inn] often in Tower of Beginning’s early days. I’ve met you there."

KiRA’s presence here was still intimidating. The room affected her the same way it had affected the rest of the interviewees.

But KiRA’s tone towards her was strangely respectful. Something even Izzy found interesting.

"Hmm? Wait, really?"

She seemed to be uncomfortable until just now, but as soon as KiRA brought up the inn, a new glow covered her pretty face.

"I didn’t think there’d be someone who still remembers me from back then."

She was pretty. She was very attractive, so much so that she was wearing big glasses and a hat as well as a mask to not get noticed.

She had just taken them off when she sat down before them and even Izzy couldn’t help staring at her... it was almost like she possessed <Charm>.

However, that was not the case. She was simply pretty, like her.

And she was older, so her beauty was mature as well. She was more like their parents than them in that regard.

And looks weren’t all. Aside from her long, wavy dark hair and those blue eyes resembling Ziggy’s, she seemed like some kind of princess.

It was pretty obvious she was from a well-off family, even her clothes that seemed simple weren’t all that simple.

As someone who had been into clothes and accessories at some point, Izzy could tell these were handmade clothes, expensive ones at that.

"Haaa... those times were so fun. Back then, all I wanted to do was make food and help around the inn. It was so peaceful... you just reminded me of something I had almost forgotten, Sir."

She looked really happy after that hit of nostalgia. But then a strange sadness covered her face.

"I wish this world would have been like that instead of the hell it has become." Words that came from the depth of her heart...

She now looked even sadder, almost on the verge of tears.

But she didn’t fall apart. She just looked at the two of them and smiled so bitterly it almost made Izzy feel bad for some reason.

And right at that moment, she received another profile on her tab from their parents above.

"Hmm?" She didn’t want to pay attention to it at that moment, but the pop-up made her look at it anyway.

And, what she saw instantly surprised her.

"Kai?" She looked at the lady, then picked up the tab, and tucked KiRA’s shirt.

This person before them was a lot more important than she had expected.

It wasn’t that she had lost her family in the tower disaster or anything. She was simply empathetic.

That aside, she wasn’t just from a wealthy family...

"Did you know already?" She whispered while showing him the profile that they had compiled in this short time.

"How would I know something like that, Iz? Besides, we aren’t here to recruit someone based on where they are from or who they are."

Miss Moon had already caught on to the fact that they knew who she was and had another bitter expression.

She had already experienced it many times. Once people knew who she was or her background, they would start treating her differently.

She thought it would be the same here as well, but, KiRA’s reaction surprised her.

"I didn’t ask for someone whose father is a billionaire, I didn’t ask them to look for the child of the Lady who created the communication systems we used to use.

I asked for the person I met in the game, the person who enjoyed her work more than anything else.

I wanted the person, their skills, and their help. And you know that already so stop acting like that."

KiRA didn’t really care about her background and placed the tab down. Instead of the profile, he was more interested in the person sitting before him.

"We apologize for the unprofessional behavior, Miss Moon. Can we continue with the interview?"

A lifestyle player, someone with a very interesting skill, and someone with contemporary overall elements so rare he might not find anyone else like her... Miss Moon was the ultimate production unit that he needed to succeed in the new-world market.

She may have only wanted the other players for their skills and other aspects of their lives, but she was someone he needed.

"..."

And as speechless as she was by his words, it seemed like being someone who was needed somewhere was a very persuasive aspect in her eyes.

She wanted to leave after seeing how they found out about her, but now she wanted to stay.

Now... she wanted to stay and learn more about this strange interviewer sitting before her.
