Chapter 48: Chapter 48: Little Mo, You Haven’t Been Behaving Lately
"..." Jin Jumo’s lips trembled.
Of course, she knew!
But how could she ever admit it!
Jin Jumo licked her lips and said submissively, "Which aspect is Mr. Rong referring to?"
Feeling the fingers pinching her chin tighten, Jin Jumo’s heart jumped up to her throat.
Although the big boss was cold in demeanor, he wouldn’t resort to violence with women, right?
Rong Mochen said nothing for a long while, the atmosphere tense.
After a while, he spoke in a cold, muted tone, "Look up!"
Jin Jumo bit her lip, sighed deeply in her heart, and lifted her head.
As her eyes met Rong Mochen’s icy black gaze for a split second, Jin Jumo’s eyes instinctively trembled, but she didn’t shy away.
"Momo, don’t repeatedly test my limits; the consequences are beyond what you can bear." Rong Mochen’s voice was still cold, his tone not intense, yet every word felt oppressive and dangerous.
And it was the first time he had ever issued such a warning to her.
Jin Jumo’s heart chilled.
Anyone else uttering such words might come off as pretentious.
But from him, she had no doubts whatsoever.
Indeed, Rong Mochen was someone she couldn’t afford to provoke, and she couldn’t bear the consequences either.
Jin Jumo took a small breath, her clear eyes calmly looking at Rong Mochen, her voice steady, "Mr. Rong, I know what should and should not be done. I’ve always been aware of our contract’s terms and have kept in mind your warnings from the very beginning."
Pausing, Jin Jumo continued, "Given Mr. Rong’s power and prestige in Z City, I am not a woman who would dare to challenge that on a whim; I’m aware of my own limitations."
In saying these words, Jin Jumo seemed to have forgotten who tricked that certain someone into drinking under the pretext of a friend’s heartbreak, and who used caviar to deceive that someone she claimed not daring to provoke was her time of the month!
Even though Jin Jumo’s tone and expression were supremely sincere and natural, Rong Mochen could detect a hint of pitifulness.
His dark eyebrows furrowed slightly, and Rong Mochen lowered his gaze to stare into Jin Jumo’s eyes.
This time, Jin Jumo’s firm eyes didn’t flinch at all, staring directly back at Rong Mochen.
All of a sudden.
Rong Mochen’s lips tugged slightly, barely noticeable, and he said in a low voice, "You say it so pathetically, as if I usually bully you relying on my status."
Jin Jumo saw the curve at the corner of his mouth and sighed in relief inwardly, thinking that today’s "storm" was finally over.
Yet in the next second, she realized how laughable her thoughts were.
Rong Mochen’s robust body suddenly pressed against her, and before Jin Jumo could say anything, he grasped her waist, pulled her swiftly to the washbasin, and forcefully kissed her, pressing down on her waist.
Jin Jumo’s first thought was that her waist might break!
Jin Jumo’s whole body couldn’t stop overheating, her mind spun, her breathing became increasingly rapid.
Her arms went weak, and she was completely pinned against the washbasin by him.
Feeling the cold touch of the washbasin on her back, Jin Jumo shivered violently, her watery peach-blossom eyes meeting the tight, cold face of the man above her, sending another shiver through her heart.
One hand hesitantly pressed against the man’s shoulder, "Rong, mm..."
Rong Mochen gave Jin Jumo no chance to speak, sealing her lips with an even deeper kiss.
Jin Jumo, a staunch lover of jeans, had a wardrobe full of different styles of jeans and rarely any skinny pants, favored throughout spring, fall, and winter.
Except for occasions that required dresses, she was invariably in simple jeans and a crisp, clean top.
And today, she wore a pair of jeans.
This time there was no such luck—the buttons weren’t at the waist’s back, nor were there four rows of buttons, and they were very low-rise.
So when her waistband slackened, Jin Jumo’s heart leaped into her throat.
Her eyes, in a mess of confusion and panic, shivered uncontrollably, as if a thousand scorching hot beads were rolling up and down her throat, causing her whole body to shake violently.
At this moment, she couldn’t utter a single word.
After a while.
A squeeze around her waist pulled her back from the sink’s edge.
But the heat in front didn’t retreat.
Jin Jumo’s mind was in chaos, her head lowered, her long lashes still slightly moist.
She looked particularly fragile and pitiable.
Rong Mochen’s brows furrowed slightly as he lifted her chin, his deep eyes staring into Jin Jumo’s, "Look at me."
His voice was low but carried an undeniable authority.
Jin Jumo’s lips stilled, slowly raising her long lashes to meet his gaze.
"Give me a reason not to touch you." He said, his expression stern, his gaze piercing.
A reason?
Dare Jin Jumo say it’s because she’s got a little sprout inside her belly?
The stance earlier seemed as if he was about to swallow her whole alive, moreover, he was known for being insatiable in that regard, mm, and she simply couldn’t withstand it.
More so today when it clearly bore a sense of punishment.
She couldn’t even imagine how dire the consequences would be!
But he asked for a reason.
She had to give him one!
Jin Jumo pursed her lips, softly saying, "Mr. Rong, don’t you find the location somewhat inappropriate?"
The washroom, and someone else’s house at that.
And the someone else happened to be her idol!
Doing that in someone else’s washroom, doesn’t it feel a tad bit... indecent?
A major CEO with such a status, how could she let him do something so demeaning! Clearly, she couldn’t!
That was precisely what Jin Jumo wanted to convey!
Rong Mochen’s brows twitched slightly, staring at Jin Jumo silently for a while.
Jin Jumo dared not speak, fearing the more she said, the more mistakes she’d make.
After a while passed, Jin Jumo felt breathlessly tense from the waiting.
Rong Mochen finally spoke quietly, "Let’s go out."
"Ah, okay." Jin Jumo quickly agreed.
But she didn’t move.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to, it was that she couldn’t.
Once free, Jin Jumo vanished from Rong Mochen’s sight like a flash of lightning.
Rong Mochen’s previously relaxed face turned cold again in an instant.
Jin Jumo left the bathroom as if escaping for her life, though her steps were swift, heaven knew how much her legs were trembling.
Following her memory, she returned to the grassy field behind the villa.
Jin Jumo’s recently adjusted facial nerves reverted to a blank state upon seeing the lively scene on the grass.
Did she time-travel or was she just seeing things?
Did the scene really change that quickly?
The people who had been quietly and elegantly eating barbecue at their respective spots, except for Ying Jingyao, were now gathered together joyfully... taking photos.
"Ju Mo, come over quickly." Lin Geng, holding his phone, waved at Jin Jumo with a smile.
"Momo, why did you take so long?"
Gao Qi remained as "enthusiastic" as ever, getting excited like he’d been injected with chicken blood upon seeing Jin Jumo.
Rushing forward to grab Jin Jumo by the arm, he questioned her while joining the group.
The scene shifted so fast that Jin Jumo found it hard to adjust.
Looking numb, she was pulled by Gao Qi to the front of the group, her peach blossom eyes inquisitively glancing at Ying Jingyao, who was the only one not participating in the photo-taking.
Ying Jingyao looked at the stupefied Jin Jumo who couldn’t process what was happening, the warmth in his eyes amused, shrugging his shoulders.
After a group photo.
Gao Qi said, holding onto Jin Jumo, "Uncle Lin, take one of me and Momo."
"You little rascal, alright, let’s take one." Lin Geng chuckled.
Gao Qi moved an arm behind, making a hugging gesture where Jin Jumo couldn’t see, though he didn’t actually embrace her.
Ying Jingyao, seeing this, frowned slightly and stood up.
Just as he was heading towards Jin Jumo, everyone who had been busy taking photos suddenly paused and slowly returned to their seats.
Ying Jingyao paused for a moment, glancing back.
There was Rong Mochen, his face back to its cold demeanor.
