Chapter 841 Terrifying Magic Power

Chapter 841: Chapter 841 Terrifying Magic Power

Although Jian Shen’s swordsmanship was exquisite, the Devil Incarnate’s palm technique was not inferior, and there was no reason for him to be defeated so quickly by a single sword strike.

In the course of the clash, Jian Shen noticed the Devil Incarnate had revealed a lapse, a very basic mistake that a master should never make, yet Jian Shen didn’t hesitate and directly stabbed the Devil Incarnate through with his sword.

"Well stabbed, very well." The Devil Incarnate seemed unaffected, landing a heavy blow on Jian Shen’s body. It turned out that he had deliberately allowed himself to be wounded to hit Jian Shen.

Jian Shen took a hit and was sent flying, coughing up a little blood, thinking to himself that the Devil Incarnate was too insane; that sword strike was not a minor flesh wound, it was fatal.

However, contrary to expectations, the Devil Incarnate stood there perfectly fine, the wound from the sword quickly healing, a relaxed smile on his face.

"What?" Seeing this scene, both Lin Xi and Jian Shen were shocked and finally understood why the Devil Incarnate dared to be so reckless.

The Devil Incarnate chuckled coldly, "How about it, Jian Shen? I have cultivated my magic power to the highest realm. No matter how strong your swordsmanship is, you can’t hurt me."

Lin Xi frowned, then glanced around at the dark environment, convinced of one thing, "Devil Incarnate, you haven’t cultivated your magic power to the highest realm, but rather, you’ve encountered some special Westerners. You drank their blood, you’ve transformed into one of them, which is why you can’t stand the light."

Upon hearing this, both the Devil Incarnate and Mo Yun were shocked, seemingly asking Lin Xi how she knew.

"It’s the same as Old Jia’s situation." Jian Shen also realized what was happening, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, feeling a dull pain in his chest; that recent hit was indeed hard to bear.

"What difference does it make if you know? Have you defeated me?" The Devil Incarnate burst out in laughter, then launched an offensive against Lin Xi.

Lin Xi quickly cast a spell, creating a Protective Barrier, but the Devil Incarnate went full force, his double palms striking out and shattering the Protective Barrier with their immense power. Though the force of the blow was greatly reduced afterwards, it still hit Lin Xi’s shoulder, causing substantial pain.

Lin Xi recovered with a Healing Spell and sent out a Strong Wind with both hands, but it did not blow the Devil Incarnate away.

The Devil Incarnate remained perfectly fine, standing coldly in front of Lin Xi, sneering, "All your looking around, and this is all the skill you have. You’re nowhere near Qian Feng’s level." Having said that, he raised his hand to deliver a palm strike.

Jian Shen charged in, his swordsmanship sharp as ever, fast as the wind, a dozen strikes in the blink of an eye, leaving scars all over the Devil Incarnate’s body, flesh and blood flying.

Normally, taking an assault from Jian Shen, a person would definitely be injured, and even masters were no exception, but the Devil Incarnate was special; his wounds healed rapidly, and he moved to Jian Shen’s back even quicker.

"Oh Jian Shen, your era is over, I am the true invincible under the heavens." The Devil Incarnate delivered a palm strike to Jian Shen’s body, sending him flying with a trail of blood in the air.

"No way!" Lin Xi’s face changed color, the Devil Incarnate’s strength was not just in martial arts, but also in vampire abilities. How could they possibly fight this?

Jian Shen was gravely injured, kneeling on the ground unable to rise, but his eyes still burned with an unyielding spirit.

"Good, Jian Shen, don’t you dare fall so easily, I haven’t had enough fun yet!" Confident in his invincibility, the Devil Incarnate took step by step toward Jian Shen.

Jian Shen didn’t respond but focused his mind, gathering his power, ready to unleash it. As the Devil Incarnate stepped closer, Jian Shen pushed off the ground like an arrow leaving a bow, quickly streaking past the Devil Incarnate with such inconceivable speed that it left onlookers doubting whether he had even struck with his sword.

The Devil Incarnate’s arm was chopped off directly, blood gushed from the wound, but the Devil Incarnate seemed not to care at all. His figure flickered like a swift wind as he launched a palm strike at Jian Shen.

"Damn it!" Jian Shen chose to dodge instead of meeting the attack head-on, as he was injured and no match for the Devil Incarnate at the moment.

Even missing an arm, the Devil Incarnate’s performance wasn’t affected in the least; his attacks were relentless, one palm strike after another, and the bleeding from his wound had stopped, with a new arm growing in its place.

"Can it be!" Jian Shen couldn’t believe his eyes, his efforts seemingly futile, and the Devil Incarnate began to overpower him in terms of speed.

A simple, direct palm strike from the Devil Incarnate, who let out a wild laugh, landed heavily on Jian Shen, sending him flying once again, coughing up blood.

Seeing the dire situation, Lin Xi wanted to help, but felt her arm tighten. Turning her head and her face changing color, she saw her arm was entangled with a whip.

"Where do you think you’re going!" Mo Yun held tightly onto the whip, a smug smile spreading across her face.

Lin Xi snorted coldly, "As a woman, you really are detestable."

"Thank you for the compliment, I never intended to please you," Mo Yun retorted and began to retreat, pulling on the whip, trying to drag Lin Xi towards her.

Lin Xi heard a commotion behind her and, without thinking, knew Jian Shen was struggling in a fierce battle. She immediately cast a spell, summoning a bolt of lightning from the sky, which shattered the roof tiles.

The lightning struck the Devil Incarnate precisely, coursing through him and causing his body to convulse uncontrollably while he let out strange noises from his mouth.

Jian Shen took the chance to catch his breath and retreated immediately, deciding to avoid a direct confrontation with the Devil Incarnate until he could figure out a way to deal with him.

At that moment, the lightning, having shattered the roof, allowed sunlight to stream in, shining directly onto the Devil Incarnate. His body instantly began to burn, making him hastily move to the side to avoid it.

Seeing this, Jian Shen remembered Old Jia’s ultimate fate, which was to turn to ash under the sun. He immediately waved his sword, shattering a sealed window to let more sunlight flood in.

The Devil Incarnate, who had been eager to finish off Jian Shen quickly, saw the sunlight and panicked like a specter, frantically trying to flee and at the same time, his eyes flashed with malicious resentment.

"Hahaha, isn’t it wonderful!" Jian Shen laughed as he moved rapidly around the great hall, opening sealed windows with his sword, letting more sunlight pour in, making the hall brighter and brighter.

As more sunlight entered, the Devil Incarnate’s space to maneuver grew smaller and smaller, driving him to extreme irritation, nearly stamping his feet in anger.

Knowing he couldn’t stop Jian Shen by force, the Devil Incarnate changed his direction and charged towards the people tied up in the corner, planning to force Jian Shen to come to their rescue.

"Not good!" Seeing his mentor in danger, Jian Shen rushed over to the rescue, playing right into the Devil Incarnate’s hands. "Well done, Jian Shen, you truly are compassionate and righteous. I admire that, but unfortunately, you and your master will both be buried here today."
