Those Classmates who Suddenly Disappeared
Chapter 811: The Super Brawl

Chapter 811: Chapter 811: The Super Brawl

One person fired, two people fired, sparking a chain reaction; more people fired, more people were shot, more cries of agony sounded, and more bodies hit the floor.

Enemies nearby were shooting, allies nearby were falling, bullets were whistling past ears with the loud roar of gunfire, and fear stripped away composure, leaving only the instinct to shoot first and gain the upper hand.

A member of the Lone Wolf Gang hit a law enforcement officer, who was then shot by someone from the Black Night Gang, and that person from the Black Night Gang was taken down with a single shot by another law enforcement officer.

The scene was chaotic, completely out of control. Enemies were in front, and enemies were behind; if someone wasn’t an ally, they were a target, to be brought down before finding the next one.

It was like a storm, sweeping everyone into its maelstrom—no one could stay out of it, everyone had to fight, everyone wanted to shoot at those around them.

Helen and Qiao Ya managed to escape the chaos with the protection of the Lone Wolf Gang, but those who protected them were all shot down, falling on the path of retreat.

"My God, how could this happen." Su Hui and Gu Fan were fewer in number, and their position was relatively remote at the edge of the storm, so they faced the least attacks, but still, two members of the Fat Tiger Gang were shot and fell to the ground.

As the battle raged on, bullets whistled through the crowd, and the number of those falling, along with the cries of pain, increased.

One minute, just one minute, and nearly half of the seventy-some people who had just been standing in that area had fallen, not one able to successfully escape from the center of the storm.

The lucky few who managed to escape were at the edge of the battlefield. As soon as they sensed something wrong, they quickly hid themselves, but not all at the edges managed to escape unscathed—some were shot in the back while fleeing.

After one minute, the storm ended, the gunfire ceased, leaving behind only wailing and bloodstains. Gu Fan and Su Hui peeked their heads out from behind the truck, unable to believe the carnage of the battle they had just witnessed.

Su Hui felt a lingering fear; had she been positioned slightly more centrally, her sharp shooting would not have mattered amidst a sea of enemies. She would not have survived.

Now, in the warehouse, only a dozen or so could still stand. Six were on Gu Fan’s side—nearly half; all of the Black Night Gang had fallen, only Qiao Ya, Helen, and four others from the Lone Wolf Gang remained, along with a couple of law enforcement officers.

After the intense battle, Gu Fan took a few deep breaths, suddenly feeling that the recent melee had been incredibly thrilling. It was as if forces from all directions had converged for a decisive, life-or-death battle.

However, this wasn’t what Gu Fan wanted to see. He just wanted to leave without causing such extensive casualties and commotion; otherwise, it would only be harder to escape.

"What do we do now!" David was worried—they couldn’t stay trapped here forever.

The boss of the Fat Tiger Gang commented, "If this continues, more people will come to reinforce this place, and then we’ll be even less able to leave."

Gu Fan also felt the urgency but how to break out? With many law enforcement officers outside, guarding the exits, escape seemed impossible.

Just then, there were sounds of cars colliding from outside the warehouse followed by gunfire. It appeared another group had arrived, and they had engaged the law enforcement officers outside in a shootout.

"You gotta be kidding me, they’re pressing on." Gu Fan frowned. Gang members usually avoided conflict with local law enforcement, but now they were engaging head-on, as if some wires had been crossed.

"Wait for me, I’m going to take a look!" Su Hui slipped out quietly.

Gu Fan quickly tried to figure out how to drive the truck through, but the only way out was the main entrance, now blocked by vehicles from the gangs and law enforcement.

Shortly after, Su Hui returned, shaking her head. The situation was exactly as Gu Fan had envisioned; the main entrance was blocked by vehicles, rendering the road impassable.

It was at this unfavorable moment that Su Hui noticed the grenades on some of the fallen bodies. She glanced at the walls, a flicker of resolve sparking in her eyes, and decisively took action.

Su Hui carefully advanced toward the epicenter of the earlier fierce battle, collecting grenades from the bodies, then returned to Gu Fan and the truck.

"We’re going to punch some holes, quickly!" Under Su Hui’s command, members of the Fat Tiger Gang and Gu Fan picked up tools and began to hit the walls, making large holes in them.

Su Hui placed the grenades into these holes, then had everyone follow her instructions. On her count to three, they simultaneously pulled the pins from the grenades.

"All right, life or death hinges on this." Gu Fan, David, and the members of the Fat Tiger Gang hooked their fingers into the pins of the grenades, held their breath, hearts racing, sweat trickling down their foreheads.

"One, two, three, pull!" As Su Hui shouted, she pulled the first pin, and everyone else followed suit. Six grenades were activated at once.

The explosion was deafening, the sound of collapsing walls sent shockwaves through everyone inside and outside the warehouse. Helen, Qiao Ya, and the others all had a sinking feeling, fearing this was Gu Fan’s doing—he was trying to escape.

Dust filled the air, but a large hole in the wall became visible. Gu Fan and Su Hui, as if seeing a ray of hope, hurried back into the truck, floored the gas pedal, and drove through the gaping hole.

"What?" Upon hearing the engine start, Helen and Qiao Ya rushed over, catching a glimpse of the truck as it broke through, seeing only the rear end.

Helen immediately panicked, urging the boss of Lone Wolf Gang to rally everyone to chase and block the truck. Nothing else mattered now; they had to catch Gu Fan.

But the boss of the Lone Wolf Gang was flustered, "Helen, we’ve already caused such a commotion, we can’t keep this up."

"I know, I want your men prepared. If the Black Night Gang doesn’t take action, neither will we, but let’s still get ready," Helen calmed down and changed her mind. She knew they were at a point of no return, but backing down meant all their efforts would be wasted.

In Helen’s mind, the Lone Wolf Gang was dispensable. Even if the incident caused a major disturbance, it wouldn’t shake the foundations of Organization X.

Yet no one could have anticipated that the recent large-scale warehouse shootout was just a prelude, and an even more intense battle was about to unfold.
