"Damn it! Despicable!" Lisa regretted now that she didn’t settle Gu Fan and the others earlier. She roared, "Go all out, kill them all, don’t leave a single one."

"You took the words right out of my mouth." The boss dove into the fray again, launching a barrage of powerful punches and sending Lisa flying.

The combat situation had significantly changed. The power gap between both sides had shrunk, making for an intense fight, so intense that even Lu Yi, Jie, and Xu Haowen could get their punches in.

Hai and Gu Fan made full use of their combat training, proving more than a match for the Wandering Sea Ghosts.

Previously, a defeated Sea Ghost got back up immediately, but now they were taking quite a while to rise. But they still managed to stand again, and it was this resilience Gu Fan noticed. That meant even if the tables had turned, it didn’t necessarily guarantee them final victory.

Lisa was furious. She staggered back to her feet, swaying unsteadily towards the unconscious Lin Xi. She recognized him as the most significant threat—they had to eliminate him.

Gu Fan stood his ground, "Sorry, Lisa. If you won’t back down, then we’ll just have to keep going at it."

"Let’s keep going then! Who’s afraid?! Our souls are undying. Even if battered, we remain eternal. The only ones who will end up defeated are you lot. Understand?" Lisa raged, lashing out with a furious kick.

Gu Fan thought Lisa would be weakened by now, so he dared to confront her kick. To his surprise, her strength was formidable, even in her weak state, forcing him back several steps.

Hai rushed over and held Lisa from behind, only to be arrogant and reeling back from a swift counter-strike.

At this point, the boss had nearly defeated most of the Sea Ghosts, but his exertion was also at the brink, too exhausted to assist Gu Fan further.

Out of options, Gu Fan had to rely on himself, rising once again to protect Lin Xi. He launched a beautiful combination of punches, showing Lisa no mercy.

Despite her multiple hits, Lisa managed to stand firm, retaliating with a slap that sent Gu Fan flying, reminding him of their massive power gap.

"No way, she’s still this fierce even after taking such a beating." said Gu Fan, his mouth spuming blood, his head throbbing. Even before he could recover from the hit, Lisa was already advancing, knocking Gu Fan off his feet with a swift kick.

Gu Fan landed harshly onto the wall. His body felt like it was falling apart, but he bit his lip, his hands pushing off the ground in defiance.

Just as Lisa neared the unconscious Lin Xi, Hai arrived just in time. Instead of matching her strength with punches and kicks, he tried to immobilize her with a joint lock.

However, Lisa shrugged off the threat of a dislocated joint. After all, this wasn’t her real body. She easily broke free and delivered a hard punch to Hai’s forehead.

It was at this moment that Jie, Lu Yi, and Xu Haowen huddled together, charging at Lisa using their combined body weight and sent her flying.

"Good job!" Gu Fan managed to get these words out before being cut off by his excruciating pain.

Hai was barely hanging on, his head throbbing so intensely that blood started dripping from his mouth.

Just as despair was starting to show on their faces, Lisa got back up as though she would never go down, her gaze chilling, "Rest assured. I will not fall until I’ve killed you all!"

"Are you kidding me? How can she be so persistent?" Lu Yi appeared discouraged; he had no desire to fight this she-demon again.

But Lisa only took a single step before her legs buckled, and she fell onto one knee. The terrifying killing intent in her eyes had faded somewhat, suggesting she was nearing her limit.

Upon seeing this, Lu Yi heaved a sigh of relief, "Great. Everyone, take a break. The second round will begin soon."

Lisa wanted to hurl some words at him, but suddenly a group of people walked in, laughing and clapping, "Great fight! Seems like we’ve arrived just on time."

These few Sea Ghosts were the ones Lisa had sent out. To guard against Gu Fan, they’d sailed the large wooden ship away but had now returned to see both sides battered and bruised.

Gu Fan recognized them; they were old faces. The ones who had rebelled before but later returned to Lisa. But judging by their joy at their misfortune now, they were plotting another rebellion.

Lisa also noticed the strange glimmer in the eyes of these Sea Ghosts. But in a tone of unwavering resolve, she commanded, "Good timing. Hurry up and get rid of these people."

"Of course, we will finish off these people, but we might as well get rid of you too while we’re at it." one of the Sea Ghosts walked over, boldly lifting Lisa’s face, looking rather appreciative, "You’re so pretty. It’s such a shame that you always acted so superior, trying to lord it over us."

Another Sea Ghost added, "We thought we’d never have another chance. We didn’t expect these guys to be so capable, leaving you in this state. You can’t blame us for scooping up this opportunity."

"Wow, what a beauty. It’s been a long time since I’ve touched one." One of the Sea Ghosts looked at Lin Xi, who was still unconscious, with great interest.

"Stop!" Gu Fan attempted to intervene, only to be kicked away by one of the Sea Ghosts, "What do you think you are? What can you do now?"

Gu Fan was determined to protect Lin Xi, but a Sea Ghost stepped on his face, forcing him down, taunting him, "Look at yourself. You still want to play the hero? Don’t dream. Ants like you have no control over their destiny."

At these infuriating words, Lu Yi, Jie, and Xu Haowen got back on their feet, ready to fight till the end. However, they were no match for the Sea Ghosts and were swiftly beaten down.

By now, a Sea Ghost had approached Lin Xi, reaching out to touch her beautiful face.

"Bastard! Stop, stop!" Gu Fan shouted in rage, but his attempts were futile. He was restrained by two Sea Ghosts and couldn’t break free.

Lisa also spoke, "Without my command, you cannot..."

A heavy slap in response silenced Lisa, followed by a cold voice, "Do you still think you are the boss, still able to call the shots? Keep dreaming. Whether you live or die is now up to us."

Lisa was livid. She also regretted not eliminating these untrustworthy individuals when she regained power. Those who had rebelled once were indeed incurable.
