Chapter 483 The Strongest Versus The Strongest

Chapter 483: Chapter 483 The Strongest Versus The Strongest

"Hey, boss, are you alright? Can you keep on?" When Gu Fan asked this, the very prideful boss naturally made a show of strength: "Don’t worry, I am fine. Just take care of yourselves."

"That’s good." Gu Fan looked up at the sky again, encountering Qian Feng’s unfriendly gaze. He didn’t understand why, but he felt that Qian Feng was particularly hostile towards him.

Gu Fan couldn’t help but think of the first time he saw Qian Feng while she was kissing Lin Xi, and he couldn’t help but think he had one more romantic rival.

From her higher vantage point, Qian Feng aimed her hands downwards, and a violent gust of wind swept out, rampaging around her, blowing Gu Fan, Su Hui, and Ning Qi away.

The boss could still stand, but it was clearly a struggle. Pressed down by the strong wind, both of his legs were beginning to weaken, but the boss held onto a single belief—he did not believe that Qian Feng could keep this up indefinitely, without getting tired or running out of supernatural power.

After the storm ended, Gu Fan, looking disheveled, climbed to his feet and noticed Ning Qi was already gone. He quickly understood: the gust of wind was a ploy to cover Ning Qi’s escape.

"My goodness, my head is spinning so badly." It took a tremendous effort for Su Hui to get to her feet. She then saw Gu Fan looking around anxiously.

Quickly, Su Hui figured out what was wrong: "Ning Qi is gone. She must have gone to Lin Xi. We should split up to search. If anyone finds anything, let the others know immediately. Remember, without backup, don’t act recklessly." After finishing, Su Hui handed Gu Fan a flare.

"Okay, I understand, I will not act out." Gu Fan made this promise, but Su Hui knew that if he found Lin Xi was in danger, Gu Fan wouldn’t just stand around and do nothing.

Thus, Su Hui and Gu Fan went off in different directions, while Qian Feng watched from the sidelines without hinderance, and then focused all her attention on the boss.

Gu Fan looked back at Qian Feng and immediately changed direction. This seemed to touch a nerve for Qian Feng, who is now focused on Gu Fan, appeared to be becoming a bit nervous.

"Good boy, I see what you’re doing!" Su Hui also detected this and quickly changed direction.

The boss couldn’t help but whistle. He thought to himself: ’As expected of Gu Fan, using the enemy’s reactions to gauge if he was going in the right direction, a great way to save time.’

At this point, Qian Feng started to lose her cool. She began to cast a spell, preparing to stop Gu Fan’s progress. This further verified that Gu Fan was on the right track.

Just at the critical moment, the boss made a leap and charged at Qian Feng, letting out a loud scream he landed a punch on her.

Qian Feng’s face changed color as she redirected the gale she had prepared for Gu Fan towards the boss. The Strong Wind exploded in close proximity, but it was dispersed by the boss’s punch.

Fortunately, Qian Feng had a protective barrier around her which barely blocked the punch from the boss. However, his second punch soon followed, and he shouted: "Face me, and you still dare to be distracted."

Qian Feng’s body was fragile, so she avoided the punch, riding the wind away. It was a close call and she was bathed in cold sweat.

Unable to stay in the air for long, the boss soon returned to the ground. Just as he prepared to jump again, he was surprised to see that Qian Feng had also descended to the ground. It appeared she had chosen to conserve her supernatural power.

"Well, if you dare to fight me on the ground, you are really..." The boss couldn’t finish his sentence as he was interrupted by the bone-chilling cold seeping from a layer of frost on the ground. The cold made him shudder.

"Do you remember this trick? Last time, I froze your blood." Qian Feng gave a small smile and with a wave of her hand, the icy air intensified, freezing the boss entirely.

"My goodness, this is even stronger than before." The boss tried to move his body, leveraging the warmth within, but Qian Feng’s chilling air was too overwhelming.

Qian Feng started to stroll closer, the cold intensifying: "I told you, even if I can’t kill you, I can still seal you forever. You shouldn’t have provoked me."

The boss struggled against the freezing cold, taking a deep breath, then with all his strength he let out a roar. The startling sound waves attacked Qian Feng directly, causing her to feel dizzy and disoriented.

Without Qian Feng’s supernatural power driving it, the cold air quickly dissipated, and the boss regained his freedom of movement. However, his body was still shaking slightly, preventing him from pressing his attack. Otherwise, he could have capitalized on Qian Feng’s disorientation to land a decisive blow.

After a long while, Qian Feng was still slightly dazed, but at least she was aware enough to deal with the situation. She stared at the boss nervously, afraid of another roar.

The boss was feeling much better, but his body was still a bit stiff. He didn’t dare to approach.

"You devil, you really give me a headache." Qian Feng’s breath was slightly ragged, indicating a huge drain on her supernatural power. On the other hand, the boss was in a much better state. He deliberately reserved his strength without blindly attacking, using his body to bear the brunt of the attack, knowing that no matter how severe the injuries, he could recover over time.

The wind couldn’t blow him away, the thunder couldn’t strike him down, the ice couldn’t freeze him. Different spells whirled in Qian Feng’s mind.

The boss noticed that Qian Feng was looking weak, so he didn’t plan to wait for her to recover. Thus, the boss took a running start, and like an arrow released from a bow, rushed towards Qian Feng.

In terms of speed, the boss was confident that he could outpace Qian Feng. All he needed was one punch.

However, Qian Feng was keenly aware of this. Suddenly, mist emerged around her, concealing her completely, hiding her from the boss’s sight.

"What!" The boss was shocked, but due to his momentum, he couldn’t stop and charged headlong into the thick fog.

At this moment, all he could see was a blanket of white. Other than his own body, he couldn’t see a thing. He tensely guarded against everything around him.

This area was shrouded in fog, controlled by Qian Feng. She could easily track every move the boss made, while the boss had no idea where Qian Feng might be.

"You really are difficult to handle, but I don’t have time to drag this out. Just fall obediently." Qian Feng’s cold voice sounded like a declaration of victory.

"What?" The boss was horrified, because he found it hard to breathe. There was something wrong with this fog. With no other choice, he had to hold his breath and walk forward, hoping to escape this area.

"It’s useless, I won’t give you a chance to escape. Your defeat is certain." Qian Feng manipulated the fog, expanding it to the boss’s direction of travel. Wherever the boss charged, the fog spread.
