Today was an everyday day for most people. At the university campus at night, Gu Fan and Lin Xi were still in the library reading, exchanging glances from time to time. They looked at each other, smiled knowingly, and then laughed together.

People around them admired Gu Fan and Lin Xi’s companionship. Meanwhile, Gu Ling, like the third wheel, went ignored, leaving her flipping her eyes at Gu Fan.

When it was time, Gu Fan and Gu Ling left, getting on their bikes and leaving the campus.

Once they were a fair distance from the campus, Gu Ling suddenly stopped and anxiously looked back at the university.

Seeing Gu Ling act this way, Gu Fan knew something was wrong, "What’s wrong Xiaoling, did you sense something?"

Gu Ling simply nodded, "Bro, two women we just passed seemed unusual. One of them even more than Sister Lin Xi, I’m worried..."

Before she could explain further, Gu Fan immediately turned around and headed back to campus, trying to call Lin Xi on her phone, but got the shutdown message.

As Lin Xi walked, she began rummaging through her bag in search of a spare charger. Suddenly, she felt as if something was off. It was as if all the students in her surroundings had turned into statues, frozen in place.

"How strange!" Lin Xi looked around. Some students were looking up at the night sky, some were chatting as they walked, some were skateboarding, and they all seemed to be frozen in place.

Realizing things weren’t normal, Lin Xi decided to run away, but then she heard a voice, "Qian Ye, long time no see. I hope you’re well."

"That voice?" Lin Xi’s face turned pale. As she turned around in surprise, she felt a powerful force hitting her, sending her flying towards the wall.

"No way!" Lin Xi hit the wall hard, feeling a sharp pain, and the force continued to push against her, pinning her against the wall, unable to move.

Qian Feng and Qian Xue appeared together. Qian Xue cast a spell to restrain Lin Xi while Qian Feng, with her stern demeanor, approached.

"Big sister! Third sister!" This was the first time Lin Xi had ever looked so frightened. Especially under Qian Feng’s cold gaze, she didn’t dare to look directly at her.

Lin Xi spoke up, "Gu Fan, don’t push your luck. You should go, don’t worry about me."
