"Gu Fan, you..." Leng Le tensed up, her eyes hinting at panic. She hadn’t expected him to uncover her real identity; she didn’t know how to face him now.

Stay composed, stay composed! Leng Le gritted her teeth, straining to control her emotions. Seeing Gu Fan’s calm demeanor, she knew he must have orchestrated all of this in advance.

The big boss couldn’t help but laugh, "You’re quite clever, Gu Fan. Leng Le has been by your side, acting so perfectly, and yet, you’ve still managed to uncover her."

"Can’t help it. Fire cannot be wrapped in paper," Gu Fan shrugged, appearing quite regretful. He added, "Actually, none of this is what I hoped for. But there were just too many suspicious elements forcing my doubts about Leng Le’s identity and her true intentions of getting close to me."

Leng Le was equally puzzled, "How did you realize there was something off about me?"

Gu Fan gave a wry smile, looking rather dispirited, "Let’s start with the first hint. At the Qianye Mausoleum, for the first time, I grappled with a female villain whom I finally defeated. I clearly remember that encounter—it was quite thrilling."

Hearing this, Leng Le silently clenched her jaw. That fight was a humiliation to her. She was clearly superior, yet she got defeated by Gu Fan in such a manner—thinking about it made her angry.

Gu Fan continued: "After that, we got together. This sort of contact was quite ordinary for us. However, what bothered me a lot was that the sensation I had when I defeated that female villain in Qianye Mausoleum—when I had pinned her down—felt remarkably similar to when I held you. I initially thought I was overthinking things."

Leng Le snorted, "What nonsense about sensations being similar; aren’t all women alike in that respect?"

In response, Gu Fan shook his head, seemingly a bit embarrassed, "Sorry, but when I practiced moves with Sister Su, I was constantly bested by her. After listening to him, Leng Le wore an incredulous expression, "You actually tried that move on Su Hui; you sure are bold."

"I..." Gu Fan paused, appearing quite awkward. He quickly waved it off, "Okay, let’s not diverge from the topic. The point is that the sensation you and Sister Su give is different. That was my first suspicion."

"Seriously!" The big boss felt rather speechless.

"My second suspicion arose when you fell ill once and I visited you at home. I noticed two pictures: one featuring a multitude of buildings, including the tall towers of Yongchang Group, which I initially mistook as a landscape picture. Another picture depicted a group of people in a street, an image I assumed to be casual photography. I didn’t take much notice of these until I met Du Changhui. That’s when I realized that this was no casual photography. You were targeting Yongchang Group and Du Changhui." After stating this, Gu Fan shrugged in an ’I can’t help it’ sort of way. He continued, "It’s not that I’m overly observant—it’s just that Du Changhui stands out in the crowd in that picture. A boss’s aura is indeed unique."

Hearing this, Leng Le clenched her teeth and asked, "So, you started to suspect me then?"

"I held my suspicions, but I couldn’t rule out the possibility of coincidence. After all, I didn’t want to believe that my girlfriend was someone with ulterior motives, who got close to me with a specific purpose." After saying this, Gu Fan sighed deeply, his expressions turning even more somber; he seemingly did not want to face this outcome either.

The boss nodded, "Something must have happened afterward to raise your suspicion about Leng Le."

As response, Gu Fan nodded and went on, "A few key pieces of information pointed to a certain ’Ms. Leng.’ The mention of the name ’Leng’ struck me. Despite the fact that many people share the same name, I didn’t indulge in suspecting Leng Le more because of this."

"Oh, so what else did you notice?" Leng Le was curious about where she might have slipped to let Gu Fan catch on.

That way, when I was away, and you weren’t at the company either, I wouldn’t have found out through your colleagues." What Gu Fan said felt like a sharp sword piercing Leng Le’s heart, making her feel rather uncomfortable.

The big boss couldn’t help but laugh, "Leng Le, I warned you before not to keep this young man too close. But you didn’t listen. You risked exposing yourself while spying on him."

"Exactly. All discussions are moot now. She’s been exposed." As Gu Fan said this, he took out his smartphone from his pocket. His expression turned stern, "This phone was your gift. I never opened it up, and there’s no trace of tampering on its exterior, yet I knew there was a tracker installed inside."

"How did you figure it out?" Leng Le asked, puzzled. She had checked Gu Fan’s phone multiple times, made sure it hadn’t been tampered with. Then, how did Gu Fan find out about the tracker inside his phone?

Gu Fan smirked meaningfully, "Are you sure you only installed a tracking device in one of my phones."

This made Leng Le’s heart sink. She recalled that she had secretly installed a tracker in Gu Fan’s phone by borrowing it before he left for the foreign lands. After that, she didn’t know what happened to that phone.

Understanding dawned on Leng Le, and she said, "I see. So, you found the tracker in your old phone. But why did you suspect me? Back then, we were not together, and many others had access to your old phone. Lin Xi, Su Hui, Lu Yi—all could have done it. Moreover, Lin Xi had betrayed you at that time, so she was the likeliest suspect."

Gu Fan nodded approvingly, "At first, I did suspect Lin Xi. But with more incidents that followed, my suspicion towards you deepened. Don’t forget, you used that tracker to learn about my whereabouts multiple times, leading to you pulling off several feats."

"What..." Leng Le knew what Gu Fan was implying; however, she wasn’t going to admit it readily, "Then tell me, what did you discover?"

"You may think that your actions were coincidental, but when there are too many coincidences, they cease to be coincidences." After saying this, Gu Fan looked solemn, taking on an interrogative stance, causing the guilty Leng Le to avert her gaze.

The only one who seemed delighted was the big boss who prompted him, "Perfect, absolutely brilliant, Gu Fan. Please do continue. I am truly keen to know how you found out something was amiss with Leng Le."
