Chapter 336: Chapter 336: Fierce and Violent
Luckily, with the Big Boss and Lin Xi’s groups combined, they had enough people - over three hundred - to fully attract the snow monsters’ attention. However, they were in a bit of a dire situation, as one after another was sent flying by the snow monsters.
Gu Fan was not the kind to abandon his comrades. He firmly said, "We all came here together, so we’ll leave together. Let’s keep looking for Zhuo Hang. If we really can’t find him, then we should break out immediately."
The rest agreed, preparing to fight side by side. Just as they finished expressing their solidarity, a snowmobile fell from the sky and landed next to them, causing them quite a fright.
Gu Fan remembered Leng Le and said, "Lu Yi, Jie, you stay here with me to help me rescue Leng Le. The rest of you go with Su Hui to look for Zhuo Hang."
"What? That’s too dangerous," Xu Haowen tried to persuade them otherwise, but Su Hui shook her head. Everyone understood exactly why Gu Fan was here and should realise that angering the Big Boss more was impossible. Therefore, there was only this one opportunity to save Leng Le.
"Be careful yourselves," Su Hui said. Then she left with Xu Haowen, Ning Qi, and Ouyang Jin.
Old man Tian also wanted to leave, but then he heard Gu Fan say, "Old man, I’d like to know if we are still on the same side?"
Upon hearing this, old man Tian felt a pang in his heart. He turned around and replied indifferently, "Can you accept a companion who points a gun at you?"
"No worries, you didn’t shoot me, did you?" Gu Fan gave a small laugh. The movement aggravated his injuries and pain shot through him. After catching his breath, he said, "All you have to do, old man, is to cover me from the back once I start moving. You don’t have to risk your life."
Old man Tian didn’t respond, but held his hunting gun in his hand, staring in the direction of the Big Boss without expression.
"Okay, we’ll be quick," Gu Fan said, standing up with Lu Yi and Jie, and quickly rushing toward the enemy camp.
At that moment, the Big Boss was in a fierce battle with a snow monster. This snow monster was incredibly strong, and it was astounded as if it was the first time it had come across a human with greater strength.
"Sorry, you messed with the wrong person, and now you have to pay the price." The Big Boss locked hands with the snow monster, gradually twisting its arm with his astonishing strength.
The snow monster got scared and roared for help. Another snow monster charged in from the side, knocking the Big Boss off his feet.
Two snow monsters teamed up and, before the Big Boss could rise to his feet, attacked him, pounding him with their fists, stomping on him, and suppressing him firmly.
"You two beasts, asking for death," the Big Boss thundered in rage. He kicked a snow monster away, then rolled across the snowy ground to avoid another attack, and managed to get up.
The moment the Big Boss rose, he saw Gu Fan and his party racing to save Leng Le, which made him livid. Just as he was about to explode in anger, a snow monster lunged at him, knocking him down and started ripping into him with its teeth.
Ah, a scream rang out. The Big Boss’s shoulder had a chunk of flesh torn off by the snow monster. The pain fueled his rage, and he punched hard into the snow monster’s head with a force that left it writhing in agony.
Another punch followed. The Big Boss was relentless, knocking the snow monster to the ground. In a one-on-one encounter, the Big Boss was absolutely invincible.
However, seeing the situation turning unfavorable, another snow monster lifted a snowmobile and smashed it toward the Big Boss.
The Big Boss, caught completely off guard, was knocked down by the falling snowmobile. His body writhed in severe pain, and before he could react, he felt a tight grip on his ankle.
It was a snow monster. It picked him up by the ankle and then, aiming for the ground, slammed him down hard.
"No way!" The Big Boss collided with the ground. The force of impact made him feel dizzy, but it wasn’t over. The snow monster, apparently aware of how tough the Big Boss was, didn’t let go of his ankle. It lifted and slammed him back into the ground repeatedly.
The Big Boss was defenceless, and didn’t know how many times he had been smashed into the ground. He had this feeling of his body breaking apart.
Seeing the Big Boss engaged in a fierce battle, Hai, Leng Le and others lost their courage to fight and scattered. However, they couldn’t move as fast as the snow monsters. They were chased down one by one, and sent flying.
"Don’t panic. We have to band together. Only by fighting back can we survive." Led by Hai, several people gathered around him, their electric shock guns all aimed at a charging snow monster.
"Hit it, hit it hard." At Hai’s yell, all the electric shock guns were fired together. They all hit their target. The large current left the snow monster numb, and it fell to the ground.
Hai then led his men with their daggers to kill the fallen snow monster, and they finally managed to stage a successful counterattack.
However, the surrounding snow monsters, seeing their comrade being killed, were roused. They charged at Hai one after another; three of them attacking at once, their onslaught was terrifying.
Unfortunately, the electric shock guns were out of power. In desperation, Hai had no choice but run, hearing the screams of his comrades behind him.
"My God, what the hell are these things? They’re too horrific. Humans simply cannot resist them." Hai ran while looking around. There was no formation, and the so-called elite force of two hundred men stood no chance against the furious snow monsters.
Having no choice, Hai, now in the rear, ordered his men to draw the hunting guns. They aimed at the throat of one of the approaching snow monsters and took a shot. Quick and ruthless.
The snow monster held its throat, let out a wail of pain, and fell to the ground.
"Everyone, we fight back." With a hunting gun in hand, Hai felt a surge of confidence. But his grit didn’t last long. He saw several snow monsters lifting snowmobiles overhead. It seemed they knew the power of the hunting guns and couldn’t charge straight at them, so they decided to switch strategies.
Seeing his own snowmobile falling from the sky, Hai quickly dodged it. At the same time, he felt a chill. Only a few of them had hunting guns. Originally, banded together they could have posed a threat to the snow monsters. But with everything in chaos and their formation broken, the situation was dire.
Sure enough, the snow monsters took advantage of the chaos among those with hunting guns to quickly attack them. Even if their bodies or shoulders were hit, they didn’t care. They charged and landed a punch on humans or jumped high and stomped on them.
