On this day, a cargo plane landed and one after another, items were loaded onto trucks. They were all said to be Luo Jingrong’s belongings, shipped in from abroad, including many valuable paintings and calligraphy. It seemed he planned to settle in this city for good.

Leng Le immediately rejected the idea: "Firstly, even if we managed to win, we would have to unpack every item one by one which would be too time-consuming. Secondly, the ruckus we’d be causing would be too great. The boss said we should keep a low profile."

"So, we’re just going to stand by and watch Luo Jingrong walk away with the stuff and meet up with Lin Xi?" Hai sounded worried, fearing that they might not have time to stop them.

But Leng Le wasn’t concerned: "That might be for the best. Once they put the pieces together, we could take everything at once, saving us a lot of effort."

Hai didn’t share her optimism: "I’m afraid by then, Lin Xi might come up with some cunning plan, and we’ll never recover the complete blueprint."

"What’s the rush? Even if they get the complete blueprint, they still lack a few pieces," Leng Le seemed very confident, and instructed Hai to keep a close watch and act accordingly.

Soon, truckload after truckload of goods had been delivered to Luo Jingrong. Lin Xi, Du Changhui, and Du Jun arrived too. They were curious to see what the other half of the blueprint looked like.

For safety, Luo Jingrong arranged the meeting in a secret basement and secured ten trustworthy guards, each highly skilled, to ensure that anyone who tried to steal from them would fail.

However, when Luo Jingrong saw Lin Xi, Du Changhui, and Du Jun arrive empty-handed, he couldn’t hide his disappointment: "I’ve brought my stuff, where’s yours?"

"Don’t worry, we’re not here to rob you." Lin Xi smiled cryptically and added, "I think there are people who would love for us to bring the complete blueprint here only for them to seize it all at once."

Upon hearing this, Luo Jingrong understood: "That could be a reason. But if you’re not prepared to reveal yours, I won’t show mine."

Lin Xi continued: "Let’s clarify one thing – Before figuring out the next move, we will never bring both parts of the blueprint to one place. I believe you’re in agreement with this idea."

Luo Jingrong nodded, "Alright, I can agree to that. So, what’s next?"

Du Changhui interrupted: "We’ll first verify the authenticity of your blueprint, then you can come over and verify ours."

"Why make it so complicated?" Luo Jingrong was a bit annoyed.

Lin Xi shook his head: "Caution is necessary. That devil is always watching. If we make a wrong move, we’ll lose everything."

"So, only after you confirm the authenticity of my blueprint and I confirm the authenticity of yours, can we start truly cooperating and planning," Luo Jingrong began to accept their proposal, albeit reluctantly: "But why is it that you verify mine first, not the other way around?"

Lin Xi smiled slightly: "Since Boss Luo has objections, let’s communicate thoroughly and find a solution that is satisfactory to all."

She had thought they would have to wait for a while before they got the chance to snatch it. But she hadn’t imagined that Lin Xi would be so eager.

Lin Xi had her plans though. She looked at the scenery outside the car window, a smile playing on her lips as if she was anticipating something.

On their way back, Du Jun was still skeptical and couldn’t help but raise doubt. "Not that I am questioning you, Lin Xi. But there’s already a risk letting Gu Fan guard such an important object. What if Luo Jingrong forcefully seizes the map from Gu Fan?"

Without needing Lin Xi to explain, Du Changhui replied with a smile, "Luo Jingrong is no fool. He understands the wisdom of ’An innocent man gets into trouble because of his wealth.’ If he forcibly seizes the map that Gu Fan’s guarding, he’ll have the complete map, which would inevitably bring him deadly disaster. Neither Lin Xi nor that demon would let him go."
