Chapter 1530: New X Plan

Chapter 1530: Chapter 1530: New X Plan

Helen obviously came to find Gu Fan, but her expression carried some guilt and embarrassment, as if she didn’t know how to face Gu Fan.

But since she was already here, Helen still mustered up the courage to speak, "I know after everything that happened, you probably don’t want to see me, but the situation is really urgent now."

Gu Fan nodded, "Don’t overthink it, that matter has nothing to do with you."

Hearing this, Helen let out a sigh of relief, feeling much more relaxed, and then continued, "I came to you today on behalf of a completely new Organization X, asking for your help to eliminate all threats."

Gu Fan frowned and looked back at Lin Yue, who seemed just as puzzled about what this so-called new Organization X was.

Helen explained that she, Xue Lang, and others had long parted ways with Xue Wang, roughly meaning Helen was planning to strike out on her own.

Gu Fan thought this was a good thing; he also hoped Helen could leave Organization X as soon as possible.

However, things were not that simple. Organization X’s resources around the world were all under the command of Xue Wang, and Helen could only claim one-tenth of them, making her so-called independence very hard to develop.

Furthermore, Xue Wang would not allow Helen to set up her own faction, and so she was suppressed. If it weren’t for the fact that Organization X had been dealt a heavy blow and its strength reduced, Xue Wang might have already come charging over with a large force by now.

This was a difficult situation. Gu Fan pondered for a while before guessing why Helen came to him, probably hoping that Gu Fan would help take down Xue Wang.

Lin Yue was still worried, fearing that after they went through tremendous effort to take down Xue Wang, Organization X would become another scourge under Helen’s leadership.

"Alright, I’ll help you!" Of course, Gu Fan wouldn’t ignore Helen. As long as it meant completely resolving the threat from Organization X, he was unabashedly committed.

Lin Yue then said, "You’d better not get involved, now the Hunter’s Guild and various forces are trying to eradicate Organization X, and your involvement might make things worse."

Of course, Gu Fan understood what Lin Yue meant; even if Xue Wang was overthrown, the new Organization X established by Helen would become the next target. The Hunter’s Guild and various forces would take action against Helen.

If Gu Fan was to protect Helen and help her establish a new Organization X, it would inevitably lead to a conflict with the Hunter’s Guild and various forces.

Gu Fan shook his head, still insisting on helping Helen.

This made Lin Yue very puzzled. Why did Gu Fan have to get involved? Couldn’t he convince Helen to abandon the new Organization X and live a normal life instead?

"Lin Yue, do you really think Organization X can be completely eradicated? Three months have passed; who knows how many ordinary people Xue Wang has turned into vampires by now. As long as one vampire survives, a new vampire army can quickly be rebuilt." Gu Fan revealed a cruel fact: the power of Organization X was not in his own strength, but in the infectious spread of vampirism.

It wasn’t difficult for ordinary people to turn into vampires after drinking vampire blood, so vampires could not be eradicated, and therefore Organization X could not be eliminated either.

Even if Organization X was truly eradicated, what would be the consequences if vampires lost the restraint of Organization X and dispersed around the world?

Hearing Gu Fan’s analysis, Lin Yue was struck with extreme horror, now understanding that all along he had been engaged in a futile endeavor.

Gu Fan’s idea was simple: if Organization X couldn’t be eliminated, then change it, and to change Organization X, a new leader was needed.

"That’s right!" Helen nodded her head and then looked earnestly at Gu Fan before saying, "That’s another reason I came to find you, hoping that you would become the leader of this new Organization X."

"What?" Gu Fan was astonished; he hadn’t anticipated this at all.

Helen believed that she was just an ordinary woman with decent skill; she couldn’t intimidate the vampires, and even with Xue Lang’s help, she couldn’t curb their bloodthirsty nature.

Therefore, the new Organization X needed a strong leader, and Gu Fan, the person who had heavily damaged Organization X, would fit the role, leaving no one daring to oppose.

"Relatives, oh relatives, why do I feel like you’re setting me up?" Gu Fan was originally going to agree but was opposed by Lin Yue.

Lin Yue spoke with moral righteousness, "Maybe you becoming that way begins with taking up the role of Organization X’s leader."

After hearing this, Gu Fan also felt a bit worried, hanging around a bunch of vicious vampires; it was hard to guarantee he wouldn’t be influenced.

Regardless, Gu Fan was definitely going to help Helen. He was very willing to oppose Organization X, but as for being the leader of the new Organization X, that was a matter for later.

Lin Yue suggested that since they had a common enemy, the Hunter’s Guild and various forces could also help, and absolutely could not give Xue Wang any opportunity to grow stronger.

Gu Fan thought this proposal was good and was ready to accept it when Helen opposed it. Her reason was simple: this was an internal matter for Organization X, other forces did not need to intervene.

Lin Yue was a bit indignant. What did she mean by other forces intervening? What was Gu Fan then?

Helen’s explanation was that, in her plan, Gu Fan was not an outsider, he was the next leader of Organization X, so he could be involved.

That kind of reasoning was unacceptable to Lin Yue, who felt that Helen’s wariness of the righteous suggested she definitely had a sinister plot.

Seeing the two staring each other down, with tensions rising, Gu Fan quickly smoothed things over, "Alright, you two, we all have a common enemy. Don’t start fighting each other before the enemy is taken care of. I have a suggestion."

Hearing this, Helen and Lin Yue immediately focused their attention on Gu Fan.

Gu Fan cleared his throat, then said, "Actually, it’s quite simple. The Hunter’s Guild does their thing, I help Helen with theirs, we don’t interfere with each other, no harm done."

Helen immediately concurred, "I agree."

Lin Yue frowned, "I’ll have to discuss this with my Master and see what he thinks."

Gu Fan nodded, "Alright, and you should also make the Hunter’s Guild aware of the current situation. Don’t delude yourselves into thinking you can eliminate vampires; it’s not realistic. I hope they can support the establishment of Helen’s new Organization X, just like I do."

"I’ll try my best!" Lin Yue displayed a troubled expression; it still required reporting back to the Hunter’s Guild for the Guild leader to decide.

Suddenly curious, Gu Fan wanted to know who had the courage to lead the Hunter’s Guild in its stand against the vast Organization X; this person must have a legendary story.

Lin Yue and Helen both looked at Gu Fan with meaningful glances, thinking who could have a more legendary experience than you, Gu Fan.
