A day later, as expected, Boss Hong exploded with anger after watching the video. He immediately had the couple captured and brutally beaten.

Lin Yue didn’t attend, but he received a video from Sister Hong showing the badly beaten couple, barely alive and covered in blood. He suddenly felt afraid, realizing that he too had interfered with Boss Hong’s woman—Sister Hong. If Boss Hong found out, he would face the same fate.

Hearing this, Lin Yue felt there was some truth to it. There were many cunning plots in the gang. Previously, he had Brother Jin’s protection which kept him out of these conflicts. Now that Brother Jin had been ruthlessly sacrificed by Boss Hong, Lin Yue had to rely on Sister Hong.
