Chapter 651: Chapter 432: Teleportation Commences, Chaos Black Mist!_1
The chaotic ecological mini-world marked as No. 1, which Tuck had previously feared to enter due to the incarceration of the Level 199 Old Wizard Bould, was once again reclaimed by Tuck.
He now stands at the very heart of the Chaotic Ecological Little-World No. 1.
Accompanied by Tuck’s low chanting of the Steam Solar prayer’s secret words,
"Woo woo woo..."
A medium steam altar, roughly five meters in height,
saw the outline of the Steam Solar, about ten meters in diameter, swiftly materializing.
One could witness the mighty solar brilliance piercing through, along with the deep and resonant roar of steam,
like floodwaters pouring forth from opened gates.
Massive torrents of Steam Source Energy thundered into this medium-sized chaotic ecological mini-world.
Tuck had been longing to test the effects of a massive infusion of Origin Energy.
Now, having ascended to a new pinnacle of strength, he took it upon himself to reclaim lost territories.
Today, he constructed a medium steam altar,
thus marking the beginning of a new Chapter in the experimentation with the Steam Ecology Cycle in Eutychia - The Ancient Deathlands.
Basking in the warm, comfortable glow of the Steam Solar,
Tuck’s mood was also unprecedentedly joyous.
After all, Tuck’s harvest today was considerably generous.
"Demigod Weapons, three."
"Demigod Armor, two."
"A number of Legendary Materials, and a large quantity of other resources."
With the loot tallied from the three Legendary, and one almost-Legendary warriors he had slain,
Tuck’s smile grew ever more pronounced.
"This loot, an absolute windfall!"
"Plus the scattered mini-world mystery boxes outside; this expedition to Eutychia, the Ancient Deathlands, can’t quite be called fully loaded, but it’s definitely brimming over."
"It’s a pity... that I don’t have the credentials to enter the core zone with my current strength; otherwise... it would’ve been a guaranteed profitable venture."
In the midst of his thoughts, Tuck gradually composed his mind, and then looked towards the direction of the Great Rift Valley.
"No news from the Teleportation Array yet? It’s been half a year already."
"Even if it were the worst case, there should be some news by now!"
"My training here has reached a pausing point; it’s time to have a good look over there."
In his contemplation, Tuck fixated on the direction of the Great Rift Valley.
He projected himself to arrive.
...
Deep within the Great Rift Valley passage,
"Hum!"
The Star Phase Projection, wrapped in a Star Curtain Sorcerer’s Robe and standing twenty meters tall, arrived outside the Magic Cottage where the Legendary Warrior Taloff resided.
"Tuck, you’ve come!"
As soon as he arrived, Taloff’s voice was heard.
As a Legendary Warrior, Taloff was responsible for the safety of several masters constructing the Teleportation Array and for protecting the Teleportation Array itself.
Vigilance for the surroundings, preventing enemy sabotage—these were Taloff’s primary duties.
"Not bad at all, you’ve reached Level 150. It won’t be long before you can make a run at the High Level Transcendent Master rank. Your training speed is indeed remarkable," Taloff commented after watching Tuck for a moment, with a hint of rested satisfaction.
"I had to use quite a few good things to level up this fast; it’s going to be way harder to up my level from now on. To reach Level 169, it’s going to take a lot more time," Tuck responded, bowing.
After glancing around, Tuck softly inquired,
"Lord Taloff, how is the Teleportation Array’s progress at the moment?"
Seemingly predicting Tuck’s purpose for this visit, after a silent moment, Taloff finally answered,
"Currently, there seem to be significant issues with the teleportation linkage."
"The Transcendent Masters have indicated that there is a strong barrier interfering in the depths where the teleportation force arrives."
"They suspect it might be the barrier of the Ancient God Star Core in the Eutychia Deadlands."
"A barrier from the Ancient God Star Core?"
Tuck frowned slightly, sensing something was amiss.
"Yes!" Taloff began to explain slowly,
"This Eutychia Deathland is, to begin with, a realm of death and silence, and you can feel from the pervasive scent of death, decay, and decline in the air that this is a world continuously sinking into death."
"But... atop this massive cadaver, many pockets of individual parts have not died entirely."
"Such as those Chaotic Ecological Little-Worlds that have completed a self-sealing."
"Or, for example... areas within the Barrier that possess Barrier Ecological Activity, forming Barrier Crystals."
"And as the core of the Eutychia Deathlands, the Ancient God Star Core probably hasn’t completely died either."
"Every hundred or so, maybe over two hundred years, the Eutychia Deathland raises a barrier area, blocks the entrance of the Chaos Black Mist from outside, then disperses the internal black witches, creating an opening period for the Treasure land of Chaotic Treasures."
"Which is the time period we find ourselves in right now."
"But the barrier raised by the Ancient God Star Core is obstructing our teleportation force from leaving."
"Although the situation hasn’t been definitively judged, based on the information we have uncovered thus far,"
"The Teleportation Array we are currently constructing is likely unable to breach the Ancient God Star Core barrier of the Eutychia Deathlands."
After listening to Taloff’s exposition, Tuck could not help but rub his temples, mulling over the situation,
"Can we not leave this place?"
"Should we resort to a passive plan, to be trapped here for a hundred, or even two hundred years?"
"While secure training here is not bad, it is not a long-term solution."
"No one knows how things outside might change over one or two hundred years."
"We have to think of a way to leave."
After a moment of contemplation, Tuck finally spoke.
"Lord Taloff, by using the teleportation array, can we touch the barrier sustained by the core of Ancient God’s Star?"
After pondering for a moment, Taloff finally replied.
"Below lies a barrier of massive death combined with the remnant power of the Ancient God’s Star Core, which has been shaped by death."
"Above is something akin to the Sanctuary Triphase Barrier."
"But the problem is, even if the teleportation array can make contact, it shouldn’t be touched."
"Because that triphase barrier is fused with the Chaos Black Mist."
"It’s a complete death barrier."
And it was for this reason that it could withstand the Chaos Black Mist, which has very powerful annihilation characteristics.
"During the previous attempts to activate the teleportation and touch the border barrier, Chaos Black Mist leaked in, consuming a lot of Origin Energy from the Transcendent Masters before being eradicated."
"If you want to make contact with the barrier and establish an ecological cycle, I would advise you against it."
"If it were possible to have your steam undergo an ecological cycle with the barrier of the Ancient God’s Star Core, I would have contacted you earlier, but unfortunately, it cannot be done!"
Having said that, Taloff shook his head slightly.
"Whether it’s your Chaos Steam Source Energy or my Legendary Energy."
"Both would be annihilated by the Chaos Black Mist, and very efficiently so."
"After all, even the Great Ancient God’s Kingdoms could infiltrate it, you can imagine how formidable the Chaos Black Mist is."
"Of course, if you insist on trying, it’s not impossible."
Tuck took a moment before speaking.
"Let’s still give it a try! It might be useful!"
"Alright!"
With Taloff’s response,
soon, a doorway was opened.
Passing through the long corridor, Tuck entered a layer of space deep within the actual barrier.
A vast teleportation array with a diameter of over one hundred meters had been completely constructed.
The intense light was almost tangible.
Seeing someone enter, many Transcendent Masters cast their gaze over.
Upon seeing Tuck, some nodded slightly as a gesture of acknowledgment.
Others closed their eyes and meditated at the side, not allowing Tuck’s arrival to interrupt their meditation.
The Spacetime Swordsman "Isaac" was also among this group of people.
"Your Highness Tuk!"
Isaac came forward and saluted Tuck.
Tuck looked around and asked,
"Can the barrier teleportation be opened to allow my projection to try to touch the world barrier sustained by the Ancient God’s Star Core?"
"Just send me over there, even if the projection is annihilated, it won’t be a great loss."
Before Isaac could respond,
a nearby Level 196 wizard, nearly thirty meters tall, wearing a pale blue wizard’s robe, was the first to nod and say, "It can be done!"
Tuck vaguely remembered that this blue-robed wizard was from the Arumov Divine Kingdom.
The upper-level blue-robed wizard continued to explain.
"If possible, Your Highness Tuck, you can certainly stay over there for a while longer and collect some more information."
"Moreover... this is also a rare opportunity to come into contact with the Chaos Black Mist."
"Additionally, Your Highness, your sequence is of the Chaos Master, so I think you should be able to withstand the death annihilation of those Chaos Black Mists a bit longer."
Tuck nodded.
"I hope to withstand it a bit longer!"
The blue-robed upper-level wizard was evidently very familiar with this large spatial teleportation array.
Once Tuck stood firm within the teleportation array,
the blue-robed upper-level wizard operated it for a moment,
"Buzzing..."
The dense and heavy power of space quickly enveloped Tuck.
A moment later,
with a "buzz," the space trembled.
Tuck was launched into the hazy stream of space, instantly transported.
Due to the short distance, Tuck almost instantaneously reached the edge of the barrier.
No sooner had Tuck landed
than a sense of dullness, oppression, and even a feeling of sequence suffocation rapidly spread.
The thick Chaos Black Mist, as if dyed and infiltrated by dense ink, surrounded Tuck from all directions.
Upon contact,
"Ssssss..."
Tuck’s Star Phase Projection hissed.
Seemingly sensing Tuck’s intrusion,
the dense Chaos Black Mist, like a shark that has sensed injured prey, surged wildly toward him, creating a huge wave.
"Woo woo woo..."
Tuck immediately released the Forbidden Curse: Light Feather Blade, and a massive amount of Steam Origin Energy roared forth.
The released Steam Origin Energy quickly formed a steam-form sphere around Tuck.
The Chaos Black Mist outside moved from all directions toward Tuck’s steam-form sphere, engulfing him as if ready to completely devour him.
Ssssss...
Tuck’s Chaos Steam Source Energy and the Chaos Black Mist showed a mutual annihilation stance.
And Tuck’s Chaos Steam Source Energy was clearly on the defensive.
Amidst the resistance, Tuck swiftly activated his high-dimensional vision, domain vision, and so on, scrutinizing and observing the conditions at the edge of Eutychia - the Ancient God’s Deathlands barrier.
