This Wizard is So Unscientific! -
Chapter 590 - 401
Chapter 590: 401
Leading the group was a Legendary Spirit, followed by a Lower Transcendent Master Swordsman and a High Master Level Wizard.
"Gouden, you’re not welcome here."
The eyes of the Legendary Spirit Elf Merman hardened as he spoke.
"Merman, I’ve heard you’ve recently taken on a promising disciple."
"Moreover, you even used a Scroll of God power to assassinate a legend, tsk, tsk, tsk... what a clever tactic."
"Is it this Steam Wizard who’s only at level one hundred and twenty-something?"
The Legendary Spirit known as Gouden, an instructor, gazed at Tuck with eyes burning with intelligence.
And Tuck returned the scrutiny without the slightest courtesy.
Aside from the Legendary Spirit,
the one behind him was a Lower-level Master at level 136, a Steam Swordsman—and what’s more, a rare Forbidden Curse Steam Swordsman.
As for the old wizard, his aura was malicious and gloomy; one could tell at a glance he was the devious and cunning sort.
Soon enough, the Legendary Spirit Gouden, like a smiling tiger, narrowed his eyes and said in a sharp, melodious tone:
"Your talent seems decent, but it’s a pity if a legendary warrior were to ambush and kill you."
"You know, many talented geniuses fall on their path to growth!"
Faced with these ill-intentioned words, Tuck would not indulge them.
He responded with a light smile, "Elder Gouden, you’re right. Looking at your disciple, he seems very likely to drop dead anytime!"
"And your complexion doesn’t look too good either; it wouldn’t be surprising if your Heroic Spirit gravestone is to be raised soon."
"And as for the old snake-charming wizard in the back—yes, you—I’m talking about you; what are you looking at with all your fidgeting? It’s fortunate we’re in Gods’ Kingdom. If it were outside, and you dared to pull such antics in front of me, I’d break your legs."
Tuck’s aggressive and confrontational manner immediately darkened the faces of Gouden and the other two.
Noticing that the High Master Level Wizard looked ready to act,
Titan Knight Ruger stepped forward, his stature mountainous, placing himself directly in front of Tuck.
"Take another step, and don’t blame me for not being polite!"
Ruger’s voice boomed like thunder, his presence erupting like flames, thunderous.
It held a clear stance: Dare to advance, and I dare to fight.
The nearly two hundred-level Titan Knight was full of intimidating power.
"Merman, your disciple sure has a sharp tongue, but I’m not sure if his strength matches his mouth!"
At that moment, Legendary Spirit Gouden spoke with a shadowy tone.
Merman merely smiled softly.
"Gouden, I still haven’t settled the score with you for that sneak attack from back then."
"Isn’t your disciple, the Star Destroyer ’Omar,’ said to be a Legendary Seed that appears once in ten thousand years?"
"Heh... care to make a bet?"
"Bet on what?"
Seemingly reaching his goal, avarice started to appear from the depths of Gouden’s eyes.
"I’m betting two chances at the God’s Country Reincarnation Pool’s baptism, which you’ve been trying so hard to buy. I happen to have two such opportunities at my disposal."
Upon having his innermost intentions perceived by Merman, Gouden’s gaze sharpened, and a flicker of otherworldly light danced in his eyes.
"Then... what do you want?"
Merman paused, looked at Tuck, then finally spoke.
"A 9-Star Legendary chaos sorcery: Mirage Projection."
"You’ve got quite the appetite; however, my 9-Star Legendary chaos sorcery Mirage Projection is worth more than your two chances at baptism!" Gouden said coldly.
"Then add one of mine as well; that should be enough!"
Tuck spoke lightly from the side.
Merman glanced at Tuck, then withdrew his gaze.
"Three chances! That should suffice, right?"
"Agreed, but we need a Legendary witness," Gouden demanded, as if afraid the other party might back out.
"I can’t trust you; of course, there will be a Legendary witness."
"When?"
Merman paused again, looking at Tuck.
"In half a year!" Tuck replied.
"Half a year it is, then. Your Steam disciple and mine, under Legendary witness, will settle this once and for all!" Merman spoke decisively.
"No problem!"
