Chapter 529: Chapter 371 Steam-Chaos Seed! Steam Spirit!_2
Even many free Steam Spirits.
What Tuck had to do was to cultivate Steam Spirits who were willing to follow him.
Tuck had this idea before, and now the time was ripe.
He did not delay, and he set to work immediately.
One hour later.
A fairly decent Steam Ritual Altar over two meters tall was constructed by Tuck.
The materials for the Steam Ritual Altar, made from the unique Cabin Boundary Crystal Wall Bricks of this world, were enough to allow the Steam Spirit willing to cooperate with him to reach here.
After the preparation for the ritual was complete.
Tuck’s mind filled with many secret prayers concerning the summoning of the Steam Spirits.
After tailoring them according to his needs.
Tuck recited in a low voice beside the altar.
"O great Steam Spirits of the Steam dimension."
"You are friendly and loyal partners."
"You are wandering spirits longing for a home."
"You are high-order spirits willing to enter into a covenant with me."
"..."
Tuck continued to chant the prayers softly.
Before long, Tuck felt the presence of some strong higher-order Steam Spirits noticing his ritual.
However, these higher-order Steam Spirits observed for a short moment before departing.
Clearly!
Tuck’s level, his rather modest Steam Ritual Altar, and the contents of his Steam prayers, in many aspects, failed to satisfy these high-order Steam Spirits.
Steam Spirits!
They are "Spirits of Will," "Spirits of the Void," born within the Steam Ecology.
Not to be confused with "Steam Elves."
Steam Elves are "ecological products" within the Steam Ecology.
Whereas Steam Spirits are "will-produced" by the Steam Ecology.
The essential nature of the "Steam Spirit" is that of the Steam Ecology’s Spirit of Will.
To put it figuratively.
Steam Elves are mere workers.
While Steam Spirits are born entrepreneurs.
Naturally, Steam Spirits don’t easily cooperate with ordinary Transcendents.
Even... they rarely take a second glance at ordinary Transcendents.
As for those "Steam Spirits" who were looking down on him with superiority.
Even if they descended, Tuck would drive them away.
I’m here to find strategic partners, to create value, not to support high and mighty lords.
Those overly proud Steam Spirits can trouble others all they want; just don’t come to mess with me.
After waiting for over ten minutes, when the power on the Steam Altar was about to fade.
Still, no Steam Spirit descended.
"As expected! It’s not easy finding business partners!"
Tuck shook his head, planning to close down the power of this wave of the Steam Altar, refine his prayer incantations, and start the next round of the Steam Ritual.
Just at that moment.
A rumbling tremor came from the Steam Altar.
"Hmm?"
Tuck raised his eyebrows in curiosity.
"Even if you want to descend, there’s no need to be so hasty!"
The next moment.
A water-blue figure tumbled headlong into Tuck’s altar.
Then it scrambled up and sprinted out of the altar.
While running, its mouth emitted intermittent moans of pain, like "Ow... that hurt..."
The Steam figure found a nearby Steam Nest and plunged right into it, disappearing from sight.
This scene caused an involuntary twitch at the corner of Tuck’s eye.
Here I am, conducting a sacred and solemn summoning ceremony, and you, a Steam Spirit popping out of nowhere, dove headfirst into it without as much as a greeting.
The Steam Spirits here are really lacking in manners!
As Tuck was considering whether to drag that Steam Spirit out.
The altar began to rumble and shake again.
Just then, a hulking and substantial-looking Steam Spirit Body stopped just outside the virtual image of Tuck’s altar.
Even though this Steam Spirit didn’t match the specifications of Tuck’s incantation.
Still, this menacing Steam Spirit pushed towards Tuck’s Steam Altar, attempting to force its way in and breach the altar.
Crack, crack, crack...
The altar began to shake.
After a few breaths.
Bang...
A large number of Tuck’s altar materials split open.
And that aggressive Ninth Rank Steam Heroic Spirit barged in as it intended.
The fierce Ninth-order Spirit of Steam looked around, not giving Tuck even a second thought.
After a moment, this Ninth-order Steam Spirit then snorted at Tuck, saying.
"Mortal! Set up the altar properly, I will need to leave later."
The tone was as if it were ordering its own servant.
The condescending attitude nearly spilled onto Tuck’s face.
For a moment, Tuck, gently rubbing his fingertips together, fell silent.
He took a deep breath, looked at the trampled ruins of his altar, then at the Ninth Rank Spirit of Steam about to pursue the Six-Rank Spirit of Steam into the Steam Grey Mist.
"Do you have a Steam Core on you?"
Tuck asked at an unhurried pace.
Tuck’s question made the Ninth Rank Steam Spirit halt its footsteps.
It turned to look at Tuck, seeming to sense something.
As Steam Spirits, their perception was indeed quite sharp, especially in relation to the Transcendents of the Steam Sequence.
"Steam Wizard, I am a Spirit of Steam, and your Steam Power cannot cause even the slightest ripple before me. I can easily lock down your Steam Power and extinguish your Steam Fire Seed."
"If it weren’t for your construction of this altar ritual and the opening of the gateway, I would have already caught that damned thief."
"Trampling your altar as punishment is already a mercy on my part."
