Chapter 508: Chapter 361: Forbidden Curse Explosion [Master-level Giant Scorpion]_1
More than two hours later.
In the depths of a peculiar desert shrouded in Chaos Grey Mist, the battle had concluded.
Cadavers of Desert Wolves the size of rhinos were scattered haphazardly across the sand valleys and dunes.
The number amounted to a staggering five to six thousand.
Every Desert Wolf had been pierced and burned to death by Tuck’s Light Feather Blade.
Although these were Fifth Rank and Sixth Rank Desert Wolves, with leaders of the Seventh and an Eighth Rank Lord, and their numbers were astonishing,
they held a significant numerical advantage over other Eighth Rank Transcendents.
But for Spellcasters, especially those like Tuck who were incredibly efficient at continuous casting,
this so-called numerical advantage was inconsequential.
With just a bit of time, he could wipe them out cleanly.
As the battle wrapped up,
the Shadow Spider Lord was released by Tuck.
The Shadow Spider Lord swiftly summoned a large number of smaller Shadow Spiders to collect Crystal Cores and transport the carcasses on a grand scale.
Due to Tuck’s continuous breeding over the years, his Steam Magic House had grown to be almost the size of a hundred-meter-tall apartment building.
The Blood Pool Area... well, now it should be called the Bloody Sea Area... had also become quite extensive.
These carcasses were the source of life for the Bloody Sea ecology and the sustenance that continually expanded the size of the Magic Cottage.
"Woo... woo..."
The desolate wind howled, and the sand grains tinkled against the Rune of Tortoise Armor from Earth.
Tuck removed the Rune of Tortoise Armor from Earth, which had suffered minor damage in the fight, and fitted himself with a new Earth Shield.
He fondled the Crystal Cores containing Chaos Origin returned by the Shadow Spider Lord.
Tuck looked up.
Above the dome of the sky, a multitude of birds of prey circled in the high air.
Among them were three Transcendent Grandmaster Level creatures resembling eagles and falcons.
Flight for reconnaissance in the sky was out of the question.
Once targeted by these 100+ level Master Transcendent creatures, it would be a significant hassle.
Traveling under the grey mist on the ground,
you would encounter a vast array of creatures.
Before entering the desert, Tuck had been ambushed by three types of creatures.
One was the arm-thick "Tree Wing Insect," which could suddenly bounce up, pierce through with its sharp proboscis, and inject venom at an astonishingly fast speed.
Another was a group of blood-colored creatures like Demon Bats, quite numerous with bizarre soul-sucking abilities; but once Tuck left their area, they stopped chasing him.
The last was the remarkable Sucking Worm with its bounce ability; as Tuck passed, they sprang en masse from a pond and clung densely to Tuck’s Earth Shield, frantically absorbing the Origin Energy within it.
Tuck gifted them with a mouthful of Dragon Breath Flame, and then quickly fled the area.
These Transcendent creatures, hidden within the ecological environment, were very secretive.
More importantly, thanks to the dense Chaos Grey Mist here, the density of Transcendent creatures within this ecology was exceptionally high.
One would leave the territory of one Transcendent creature and step into another’s in no time at all.
Tuck wasn’t genuinely afraid of these Transcendent creatures.
His main concern was that powerful moves might disturb those Transcendent Grandmaster level creatures lurking here.
If those Master-level creatures were alarmed,
the advantage of exploring this place in advance would be lost.
After clearing the area of the various Demon Wolves, Tuck set off again.
The advantages of "Shadow State" became gradually apparent in the desert.
Moving without a sound and without touching the ground, Tuck could easily avoid the Sand Worms, Desert Poisonous Scorpions, and Sand Bees beneath the sand, steering clear of many unnecessary battles.
Heading deeper into the desert, Tuck continued on his way.
From time to time, Tuck also observed the giant tilted tower above.
The place where Tuck was advancing was right below the Broken Tilted Tower, the core area of the desert.
If anything fell from above, it would definitely end up in the core of the desert region.
...
After a short half-day,
Tuck stood quietly atop a desolate and enormous dune amidst the tumbling Chaos Grey Mist, carefully examining the funnel-like bottom of the sand dune.
A Grotto Stone Door, about five meters high and three meters wide, was quietly situated at the bottom of the valley.
An extremely dense and powerful aura of Chaos Origin surged forth from within.
Even standing hundreds of meters away, Tuck could still sense the abundant Chaos Origin emanating from inside.
Without a doubt, the underground area accessed by the Grotto Stone Door must be nurturing some kind of Chaos Treasure.
But the entrance to this Chaos Ecology-rich cavern was occupied by a Master-level Desert Giant Scorpion.
This Desert Giant Scorpion, all in golden yellow, lay sprawled there, similar in size to a small villa.
At Level 105, its presence exuded an extremely strong and dense aura of a Transcendent Grandmaster level giant beast.
A Master Giant Beast!
No matter the type, any Master-level giant beast was notoriously difficult to deal with.
In this half-day span,
Tuck had already scouted several areas of the desert.
In many regions, Tuck hadn’t found any treasures, and when discovered by a Master-level giant beast, he had to flee.
But now, the Treasures Location guarded by this 105-level Transcendent Grandmaster level Desert Giant Scorpion was not to be missed.
"These shell-type Master giant beasts have extremely strong surface defense capabilities."
