Chapter 381: Chapter 297: Forbidden·Crow·Slaughter!_2
The marine life’s shadow and the undead creatures’ shadow of death.
Both are the favorite food of the Shadow Spider Lord.
Especially the Undead of Strait Valley.
The Shadow Spider Lord has a particular philosophy: "Take life and death lightly, focus on feasting!"
It ate with such delight inside there.
Not only did the Sequential Undead Shadow Spider Lord consume a large quantity,
but some of the lower-level undead lords were also devoured in substantial numbers.
This led to several of the powerful undead lords chasing after him to "Origin World Island."
Fortunately, Origin World Island was the perfect place of refuge, where the undead lords dared not linger for long.
Otherwise, out of Shadow Spider Lord’s eight legs, at least two or three might have been broken off by those undead lords.
Tuck, having entered the Shadow State, firmly took his seat atop the Shadow Spider Lord.
"To the Forbidden Land of Seals."
Following Tuck’s command, the Shadow Spider Lord rapidly climbed toward the Forbidden Land of Seals on Padlin New Voyage Island.
The letter to Tuck was from Reserve Bishop Don Maher.
The contents of the letter revealed that just recently the Forbidden Land of Seals had become violently turbulent.
The door was even at risk of being torn apart; thankfully, Tuck had placed a Sealing Barrier Stone there, which strengthened The Door of Seal, thereby containing the outbreak of the Forbidden Uprising and preventing a horrific catastrophe.
But the unrest in the Forbidden Land still continues.
One of the three Sealed Cabins has already been completed.
They hoped Tuck could arrive soon to resolve the turmoil in the Land of Seals as early as possible.
On the outside, there was the offensive of the marine ecological wave of Ocean Wicked Spirits; lurking in the shadows were the powerhouses of the Dark Sun Church, the marine tribal elites, and the movers and shakers of the East Continent, all eager to act.
All the while, there was an uprising within the Forbidden Ecological system.
Clearly, this was an attack scheme long in the making.
Their intent was to directly destroy Padlin New Voyage Island - this pearl of the deep sea.
And for a long time, Padlin New Voyage Island had been preparing for this.
After all, Bishop Martha Clark had sent a letter to Tuck several months ago, hoping he would aid Padlin New Voyage Island.
Riding atop the fifth-ranked Shadow Spider Lord, they swiftly proceeded.
When Tuck passed through a patch of Spirit Realm mist,
a voice with a distinct foreign accent, full of surprise, rang out.
"Eh! A Shadow Spider Lord? That’s quite a rarity."
Tuck’s brows furrowed slightly, and he promptly urged the Shadow Spider Lord to leave quickly and avoid any unnecessary trouble.
However, when the Shadow Spider passed through another layer of Spirit Realm mist,
a tall and robust figure wearing a form-fitting blood robe blocked the path of the Shadow Spider.
"Mr. Mage, you seem to be in quite a hurry?"
The foreign man holding the Blood-colored Long Sword viewed Tuck with a constant faint smile on his face.
A Legendary Long Sword and a Peak Bishop from a different domain.
With just a glance, Tuck said no more.
"Phase!"
Tuck, along with the Shadow Spider Lord beneath him, phased in an instant, crossing the Spiritual Realm and arriving in the actual dimension.
Before the Shadow Spider could even steady itself, accompanied by the howling wind, a swathe of blood-colored sword light had already swept toward them.
And the Shadow Spider, well-prepared as it was, suddenly leapt, propelling itself into the air.
"Hisss—"
The sword light, containing a potent Wind Rune and the oscillations of Legendary Features, tore a huge gash over twenty meters long and five to six meters deep into the ground.
"Such a powerful foreign bishop," Tuck mused, his eyes narrowing slightly at the might of this sword.
Tuck had heard that the strong individuals from foreign lands, especially those geniuses from the major powers, were astonishingly robust.
Today, he indeed encountered one.
If he had ample time, Tuck wouldn’t mind engaging in a skirmish with this foreign bishop to see where he stood.
But now was clearly not the time.
[Shadow Walk]
As the Shadow Spider leapt, the distant shadow travel of the Legendary Demon Ring Staff was also activated.
"Hum..."
The Shadow Spider instantly drew out a long shadow tendril in mid-air.
Phase Walking, Spider Leap, Shadow Walk.
The threefold jump worked exceptionally well.
By the time the Shadow Spider landed, it had already covered a thousand meters.
Even so, a trace of blood-colored sword qi followed the trail of the Shadow Spider’s shadow traces, pursuing them.
"That Legendary Long Sword, quite interesting, to be able to chase so far?"
Tuck swiftly cast a "Rune of Tortoise Armor from Earth" which he had prepared earlier, wrapping it around the Shadow Spider.
"Boom!"
The blood-colored sword qi exploded upon Tuck’s Witchcraft Shield.
And the Shadow Spider, stepping on the fierce wind, rushed towards the sealing area at full speed.
Tuck turned back to see the outline of that foreign bishop among the buildings, flickering in and out of sight, no longer pursuing them.
"He attacked me without reason."
"Not sure which power’s strongman he is."
"However..."
Tuck felt the Forbidden Curse that had spread from the Forbidden Curtain Stage and anchored onto the foreign bishop.
"Since he has made his move against me, I need not be polite."
"Catching this foreign bishop could very well wring out a lot of useful information."
"That Legendary Long Sword looks to have some status and position, and its Wind Rune is quite strong, nearly as robust as mine."
"Hmm... I’ll use his corpse and soul to become my Soul Shadow."
"After all, I don’t yet have a Sixth Order Bishop’s Shadow."
The Tuck of today, whoever provokes, meets their end.
And not just some insignificant foreign bishop.
Even if the Heavenly King Father himself arrived, he’d still have to endure a couple of slaps first.
