Chapter 352: Chapter 283 Undead Ocean Treasure_2
"Currently, the Blood Waterfall Pirate Team are clearly aware of the position and trail of our Sea Demon Ship."
"For such a huge Sea Demon Ship to navigate freely on the ocean, trying to avoid detection is very difficult."
"Currently, three Sea Demon Ships are simultaneously closing the distance to our Blood Demon Hand."
"Obviously, they aren’t planning to give us a chance to face them one-on-one, but instead intend to advance together and simply crush us with their overwhelming strength."
With that said, Abraham looked towards Tuck.
"Now...should we try to counter-attack them, or should we..."
Tuck didn’t hesitate much and spoke directly and decisively.
"Run!"
"Run?" Dr. Stan Lee raised an eyebrow beside him.
"That’s not really your style, is it?"
Tuck smiled.
"My style is to run if I can’t win, and that’s always been Ramore’s tradition."
"Three powerful Bishops, over a dozen Fifth Rank Warriors, and an unknown number of numerous Fourth Rank Transcendents—we simply can’t withstand them right now," Tuck shook his head.
"If they really catch up to us, I can escape, but whether you all can manage to escape, that’s another story."
"So...before they catch up to us, if we don’t run...should we just wait to die?"
Abraham also nodded on the side.
"I feel the same. Our strength is still relatively weak, we can’t go head-to-head with the three Bishop fleets."
"Since we’ve chosen to flee, then...we can’t just plunge straight into the Undead Strait Valley."
"On the contrary!"
Tuck slowly began to speak.
"Not only must we enter the Undead Strait Valley, but we also need to delve deeper into it!"
Delve deeper into the Undead Strait Valley?
Both of them showed a slight change in expression upon hearing this.
The Undead Strait Valley is one of the famous forbidden areas of the Transcendent Ocean World, widely known and feared.
Countless Sea Demon Ships have entered it, hoping to uncover its secrets.
Yet all met a grisly end, dismembered by countless Undead in a most ghastly fashion.
Even powerful Bishops of the Sixth Rank, if trapped within, faced certain death.
It was no issue to capture a few Undead on the periphery of the Undead Strait Valley.
But to venture deep inside, and lose one’s way in the turbulent Undead Ocean Current, meant certain death for the entire crew!
"Isn’t this too risky?"
Abraham advised with concern.
"If we do not enter the Undead Strait Valley, but bypass it instead...then what?"
Tuck looked around at both of them and asked slowly.
Before they could answer, Tuck slowly responded to his own question.
"Then we’ll continue to be hunted down by them."
"Even though our Sea Demon Ship, now with the integration of Steam Ecology and the Sea Demon Ship ecology complete, is considerably faster than their ships."
"They will absolutely not let up until they catch us."
"We did not come to the ocean to participate in a long-distance sailing race."
"Being chased like this, there’s no meaning to it."
Tuck’s words left both of them in quiet contemplation.
"Even so, diving directly into the Undead Strait Valley is too risky! We need to be prepared, at least," said Abraham gravely.
Tuck laughed and replied.
"In fact, preparations have long since begun."
"Hmm?"
Both of them looked at Tuck with confusion.
"When sailing outside, the Blood Demon Hand underwent an ecological integration between the two large Origin Energy Steam Engines and the Sea Demon Ship Ecology."
"You should have felt this, right?"
As Tuck continued, the two looked at each other, a tacit understanding forming between them.
"Is it the same kind of fusion effect as with St. Land’s integration of steam with the world?" asked Dr. Stan Lee.
"Yes!"
"That’s really amazing."
Dr. Stan Lee could not help but raise his eyebrows.
Previously, he had felt some marvelous interaction between the Origin Energy Steam Engine and the Sea Demon Ship Ecology.
But as he was not primarily focused on Transcendent Ecology, he could not be certain whether this wondrous interaction was indeed the "ecological fusion" like in St. Land.
Now that Tuck provided a definitive answer, it was certain.
"The ecology of the Blood Demon Hand is not considered large, but with my push, the fusion of Steam Ecology and Sea Demon Ship Ecology has been very successful," said Tuck.
"Now, our Sea Demon Ship has truly become a ’Steam Sea Demon Ship’."
"Beyond that, I also promoted the Ecological Cycle between the [Ghost Sail] and the ’Steam Sea Demon Ship’."
"At present, it’s quite effective," Tuck explained.
Upon hearing this, both Abraham and Dr. Stan Lee brightened up.
The [Ghost Sail]
It was one of the three sails of the Blood Demon Hand.
The main mast’s principal sail, the Origin Energy [Magic Wind Sail], was primarily for navigation.
In an encounter with enemies, they could stimulate the Wind Magic using Origin Energy, accelerating the sailing speed of the Blood Demon Hand.
The foremast’s sail, the [Shield Sail].
The [Shield Sail] could be used as a regular sail under normal circumstances.
In battle mode,
it could swiftly expand, transforming into a sail shield curtain across the Sea Demon Ship, protecting it from enemy magic cannonballs.
On the other hand, the mizzenmast bore the [Ghost Sail].
Crammed with numerous soul-class Undead captured by the Sea Demon Ship,
it could be used for reconnaissance and combat.
Tuck, already possessing the ability to alchemize steam ecology and with diligent study and mastery in the field of Transcendent Ecology,
had a depth of understanding of ecology that far surpassed that of the average Transcendent.
"Under normal circumstances, even with the [Ghost Sail], entering the Undead Strait Valley would inevitably lead the Blood Demon Hand to be swarmed by a multitude of Undead."
