Chapter 860: 421 underlying code_3

And when Mu You opened his Mind’s Eye this time, he immediately noticed one of the lines.

It was a green line, conspicuous because it was much brighter than the other lines. If the other lines were dotted, this one was solid.

Mu You immediately confirmed that this Karma Line must be the one mentioned in the text.

Mu You tried to connect his consciousness to this line and discovered that his consciousness could actually move along it, even leaving the scope of the Mind’s Eye Vision!

"The text says this line is connected to the Mountain of Creation, does that mean I can reach the so-called ’Mountain of Creation’ if I follow it?"

Mu You then let his consciousness travel along the line.

The length of the line was incomprehensible, twisting and winding through the air. As Mu You’s consciousness followed the line, it was like riding a roller coaster, tumbling up and down, direction unpredictable.

Regardless of what lay ahead, Mu You traced the line back to its source, like a current rushing between synapses, speeding up more and more...

After an indeterminate amount of time, Mu You’s consciousness finally reached the end of the line!

There was a massive sphere, a ’bundle of lines’ wrapped in dense data characters and various distorted lines. In front of it, Mu You’s consciousness felt as small as an ant in front of the sun, and its contents were so complex that a single glance sent shockwaves through Mu You’s mind.

Mu You quickly moved his consciousness away from the ’bundle of lines.’ The end of his Karma Line was rooted in this massive sphere. Detaching his consciousness from the Karma Line, Mu You explored the surface of the sphere and found many other lines similar to his, emerging from the void in all directions and rooted on the surface of the sphere.

Most of these lines were blue, a few were red, and a very small portion—perhaps only a dozen or so—were green like his, inconspicuous among the numerous red and blue lines.

Mu You found the ’Green Line’ closest to him and immediately tried to travel along it to the other end.

Another roller coaster journey ensued, and after fluctuating up and down for about fifteen minutes, Mu You finally reached the end of the line.

What appeared before him was a pitch-black space, bubbling like something sinking in water.

Just as Mu You was about to spread his consciousness to explore this place, a pair of eyes suddenly opened at the end of the Green Line and glared at Mu You!

That gaze sent shockwaves through Mu You’s spirit, and his consciousness uncontrollably snapped back at hundreds of times the speed, instantly returning to the ’sphere,’ and then, even quicker, back to his own body.

In the pet shop, Mu You abruptly opened his eyes, feeling sweaty and unsure.

He could be certain that he just saw human eyes... Does that mean the person was another ’Admin’?

There were many other Admins just like him?

...

Meanwhile, in another place, within a dark and mysterious space.

"Huh?" A hoarse voice suddenly broke the quiet emptiness.

"What’s wrong?" Another voice nearby spoke, also hinting at old age.

"Someone cleared Server Number 2..." the first voice said.

"What?"

"Impossible!"

A series of astonished voices came from various directions in the hall.

"The difficulty of the Demon King was personally tested by us, according to our original design, even at its limits, it would take at least a year before someone could possibly pass it!"

"Right, the Tower of Heroes only opened a few days ago, it’s impossible for anyone to get through now!"

"But the fact is someone has already cleared it..." the first voice sighed.

"..."

The others fell silent. They were well aware that no one would joke about such a matter, but they simply couldn’t believe that such an outrageous gamer had emerged.

"What do we do next? We’re not ready with the Faith System yet..."

After dozens of seconds of silence, someone finally asked.

"No choice but to speed things up. Within a week, we must go live..." the first voice said reluctantly.

"Isn’t that too fast?" one of them questioned involuntarily. The original Faith System wasn’t supposed to appear until half a year later. The overall strength of the players was not yet at that level, and launching it now would be forcing their progress unnaturally.

"You think it’s fast, but they won’t wait for you. Now that there’s an Admin, more and more people will soon pass, and without a Faith System, shall we just send them to their deaths?"

"This, alright then..."
