It was just an instant when the black fog darted in front of Chen Ke and reformed into a human shape.

Chen Ke’s body flashed with an orange glow as the An Helei armor rapidly replaced his clothes, and with his left hand gripping the other Chen Ke’s right wrist, he let the armor burst into crimson flames.

This armor possessed the ability to let out Flame Bursts, which Chen Ke had never used before, for he had the Ashes of An Helei, which were much hotter and more powerful than the armor’s built-in flames.

However, considering there were many immobilized people inside the building, Chen Ke didn’t want to harm the innocent.

The power of the flames was released instantaneously, the high temperature and blast of flames erupted from Chen Ke’s armor and set the other’s clothes on fire.

"Boom!"

The wave of flames swept through the fourth floor of the orphanage, setting the other Chen Ke’s clothes ablaze and revealing his bronze skin.

Chen Ke was surprised to discover that the flames couldn’t harm the other at all, as the flames seemed to merge with his body as though they were one.

The other’s right hand exerted more force, and Chen Ke felt his throat being crushed, with the thumb piercing through the flesh of his neck and pressing harshly against his spine.

Chen Ke stared at his opponent, no longer caring about the others; at this moment, it was a fight for life.

The other Chen Ke was also astonished; he had never seen someone whose throat had been crushed but who was still alive.

Chen Ke extended his left hand and grabbed the other’s head, releasing the Magic Flames of An Helei, with his entire left arm glowing a scorching orange-red from the sudden rise in temperature. This orange-red color rapidly spread from his left arm, but the other still didn’t let go.

"What trick is this?" the other Chen Ke asked in a deep voice, sensing something different about these flames.

"Burn you to death..." words failed Chen Ke, who hoped the Ashes of An Helei would burn his opponent to a crisp, just like when he dealt with the Foundation’s "tin cans" in the Fan Hede Kingdom.

The high temperature set ablaze all flammable materials in the building, including those innocent people who had done nothing wrong, but who had met the wrong two people at the wrong time.

The flames climbed the walls, spreading wildly everywhere, and the ceiling that the Black Gun had partially collapsed now looked as though its lid had been opened, letting flames and black smoke escape towards the sky.

Although the other’s skin still did not catch fire, the Magic Flames had taken effect, causing reddish burn marks on the other Chen Ke’s bronzed skin. Yet, he just tightly held on to his right wrist, preventing the Black Gun from taking aim.

Both used their greatest strength in a struggle, but their strengths were not equal; as a member of the Clan, the other Chen Ke gave him a non-human sensation.

There was no breath to feel, no body heat, no heartbeat. There was no sign of pain on his face, only obsession and hatred.

"Get lost!" the other shouted and let go of Chen Ke, striking him in the chest with his elbow. Though the blow didn’t injure him, it knocked him back a few steps.

Chen Ke steadied himself with the heel of his back foot, seizing this fleeting opportunity, and raised his hand with the Black Gun aimed at the other. Suddenly, a blue halo flashed before his eyes, and a tearing pain surged through his right arm.

Moonlight Greatsword!

Chen Ke’s right arm, along with the Black Gun, flew out and fell outside the window, landing downstairs. He grunted, his throat having just healed automatically when his right arm was dismembered by his opponent. Blood gushed from Chen Ke’s right arm as he clutched his wound and knelt on the ground.

The Moonlight Greatsword was a Magic Attribute Holy Relic, and An Helei’s armor was like paper in front of it. His opponent gave him no chance to catch his breath, bringing the two-handed sword down in a heavy cleave.

Chen Ke recalled the An Helei armor, rolling backward in agony to dodge the attack. The high temperature scalded his body, and then, he recalled the An Helei armor once more.

Wearing Medieval heavy armor, one simply could not roll at all.

His right arm grew back, but definitely, the gun was lost. The black stone had not returned to his heart and must have fallen somewhere downstairs.

He got up and snapped his fingers at the other Chen Ke, causing an outbreak of Spiritual Energy that blew his opponent away. The other Chen Ke stabilized himself in mid-air and drove the Moonlight Greatsword into the floor.

"Is that what you’ve been looking for? Right?", the other Chen Ke taunted.

"You can’t even wield it," Chen Ke said in a deep voice, his left hand flickering with a blue glow as he raised it above his head and threw!

The Spiritual Power Crystal Gun, with 100 hours’ worth of Spiritual Energy, thickened from a slender spear of light as it left Chen Ke’s hand and turned into a giant stone pillar, shattering the windows on the wall as it surged towards his opponent like a raging torrent.

The other Chen Ke clasped the hilt of the Moonlight Greatsword with both hands and yanked it out, raising it high above his head and slashing down fiercely at the incoming Spiritual Power Crystal Gun.

The sword’s glow condensed into a blue air wave, roaring as it dispersed the power of the Spiritual Power Crystal Gun. It was the special power of the Moonlight Greatsword, Moonlight Torrent.

The Spiritual Power Crystal Gun, with 100 hours’ worth of Spiritual Energy, was actually scattered by the Moonlight Torrent face to face. One could only say that either the skill was too basic and amplifying it to 100 hours was futile, or the other Chen Ke had an extraordinary intelligence, enhancing the power of the Moonlight Torrent to the extreme, just like Wang Ailin.

With a shout, he recalled the armor of An Helei, sprinting forward quickly. Gritting his teeth, he leapt out of the window, barely missing a blue airwave that whooshed past his ear, which nearly slashed off both of his legs.

Chen Ke fell from the fourth floor, landing on the ground with a crash, breaking his collarbone, scapula, and sixteen ribs, and fracturing his spine. Lying there, he coughed up a mouthful of blood. Two seconds later, his body immediately recovered.

The other Chen Ke descended from the sky, stabbing the Moonlight Greatsword towards him with one hand. Chen Ke rolled over, and the spot where he had just been lying exploded. The Moonlight Greatsword shone with a pale blue light, its unique glow unmistakable even amidst the roaring flames.

Chen Ke stood up, stepped back several paces, and confronted him, ready to throw the Spiritual Power Crystal Gun with both hands while searching for the traces of the black stone.

Meanwhile, the fire had alerted the nearby security station, and the insurance company’s fire brigade was already on its way with water tank trucks.

"I know what mankind will face. I’ve been to a time and space where there’s only red dust and the realm of gods. On the land, there are only gods and their Clans, no place for humans; that is the end of mankind," the other Chen Ke shook his head, looking at Chen Ke and said in a deep voice.

"If you want Xu Jing, come find me." After saying that, he transformed into a wisp of black smoke and vanished, leaving only Chen Ke and the aftermath.
