Chapter 721: Chapter 609 Openly Killing the Dwarf King

Killing a king is no small matter.

Even a destitute Dwarf King, even if the Dwarf Palace had just been built, already housed a massive Defense Magic Array, heavily guarded by troops and protected by legendary warriors.

The Dwarf King was also a Vampire, a creature vastly difficult to eliminate without direct sunlight, capable of reattaching its own severed head.

Thus, when Seth Yuri heard Amberser declare his intention to kill the Dwarf King, his initial reaction was disbelief.

Yet, considering the special nature of the Magic Mirror, could this heroic predecessor kill through the mirror? If that was the case, as long as there was a Magic Mirror inside the palace, there might be a chance, a Sunbeam or a Daylight Spell could easily slay an unprepared Vampire.

But would he truly follow through with it?

Just because he owed his uncle a drink, he would help him assassinate the Dwarf King?

"Master Ultraman, are you really going to help me assassinate the Dwarf King? This matter seems hardly simple, right?"

Amberser then said, "Assassinate? What are you thinking about? I would never use a Magic Mirror to assassinate a king. That would be a complete violation of my principles. If I used a Magic Mirror to kill, who would use my mirrors?"

Seth Yuri, surprised, asked, "If not assassination, then Master Ultraman, how do you plan to kill?"

Amberser pointed at the massive Magic Array and said, "I’m going in forcefully. From here, all the way up, killing our way into the Royal Palace to finish off the Dwarf King."

"All the way up?"

With a tone of resignation, Seth Yuri said, "That might be quite difficult. We simply don’t have enough manpower, and even if you are a hero who defeated the Magic Dragon Tyrant, you alone are not enough. Besides, if there’s any commotion, that faithless Vampire will surely choose to flee."

Amberser replied, "That doesn’t matter. We just need to claim he is dead, since he can’t withstand sunlight. Once he leaves the Royal Palace, he is no longer the Dwarf King. When a new king ascends the throne, if he dares to show up, we’ll just have him prove himself in the sunlight."

An idea seemed to strike Seth Yuri, an aspect he hadn’t considered before, befitting a legendary Lich whose thoughts were as valuable as gold, capable of generating brilliant ideas every second.

But the problem remained, how could they storm the Royal Palace.

"The Royal Palace is teeming with Dwarf Iron Guards and numerous spellcasters ready to operate the Defensive Magic Array. Although it is not as sophisticated as the desert’s Magic Array, even an army ten times larger might not breach it."

Amberser said, "That’s for me to worry about. Relax, since I said I’d handle this for you, you don’t need to fret. By the way, I need to borrow your Magic Array and modify it for a different effect. You don’t mind, do you?"

Seth Yuri glanced at the still-under-construction Prayer Magic Circle, hesitated for a moment, then nodded, "I’ll leave it to you, Master Ultraman."

Since he said he wouldn’t use the Wishing Spell for killing, Seth Yuri took him at his word, whether it was true or not.

Because even if it was false, the legendary Lich had made his stance clear, evidently preventing action; defying him would mean going against him.

And with such an impressive record of victories, regardless of their family ties, Seth Yuri wouldn’t dare oppose him.

On the contrary, Seth Yuri was quite intrigued to see how he would breach into the Dwarf Palace.

Amberser controlled the Magic Mirror to float to the center of the vast Magic Array, lines made of condensed magic power stretching out from within the mirror.

The immense presence felt like the arrival of a Deity, truly an expert displaying their skills.

Seth Yuri himself was a master of Natural Magic and could sense how terrifying this magical power was with just a brief touch; even draining himself dry wouldn’t compare to any one of those thin lines.

And from the Magic Mirror, thirty threads of magical lines extended.

These thin lines merged into the Magic Array, continuously altering the structure of the Magic Array.

Time was hard to track, but Amberser maintained a high output of magical power until he completely transformed the Magic Array.

After watching silently for a long time, Seth Yuri concluded—the modified Magic Array was laden with the aura of Hell.

Evil runes had solidified, beginning to float and flicker above the Magic Array, with the contour of the Gates of Hell faintly discernible.

"Master Ultraman, are you summoning Hell Demons?"

Amberser nodded, explaining, "I borrowed a bit from the foundation of the Wishing Spell, sort of a shortcut to more easily break spatial barriers and connect two planes..."

"Wait, Master Ultraman, I’m not asking about the principle behind it, I’m asking if you realize what you are doing? You’re summoning Hell Demons; do you understand the consequences?"

Now Seth Yuri was regretting. He should not have allowed this legendary Lich to act recklessly—who knew he could take it this far?

Originally, if Amberser had brought the entire Undead Army of Gloomyland it wouldn’t have mattered because undead are well known for being controllable.

As a legendary Lich, Amberser could easily control an Undead Army, directing them eastward and they wouldn’t dare go west, but demons?

Demons hunger for flesh and Souls, and releasing Hell Demons would lead to these monsters indiscriminately slaughtering everything.
