Chapter 920: Chapter 475 Mechanical Seed
"It’s about to open..." Li Ming observed the cracks on the metal block, as strands of spatial ripples began to surge.
Li Ming felt it carefully, his heart pounding, "Compressed so thoroughly, I’m afraid I can’t hold it down."
Realizing there was no chance for trickery, Li Ming couldn’t help but feel a tinge of regret.
"It seems Lord Azure Dragon really made ample preparations."
Outside, Gonzalez commented nonchalantly.
Everyone looked at the mechanical fortress in the center of the field, and with the defensive capabilities of these mechanical bodies, it was difficult to have means to directly observe the internal situation.
No one thought this was Li Ming’s own doing, it was clear it was something prepared by Lord Azure Dragon. fr\eewe.bn(o)v\el.c(o)m
The related information must have been obtained from Reynolds and Mikhail.
"I wonder what method it is; this Lord Azure Dragon is truly well-deserved of his reputation." Lancaster couldn’t help but shake his head, "It’s a pity we couldn’t see it this time."
"If Diwusi could open it, Lord Azure Dragon might have a similar method." Crow remarked calmly, "It’s not that astonishing, and it’s not even certain it can be opened."
Diwusi glanced coldly, already in a bad mood, and hearing this made him even more displeased.
Reynolds glanced at them, too lazy to debate; opening it in one day compared to one year, are they of the same significance?
These guys all think the same way; only a bigger and harder fist can make them understand.
As for the latter part of Crow’s words, everyone present automatically ignored it.
Whether it can be opened, discussing it now is meaningless, and it wouldn’t take long.
Everyone was lost in their own thoughts, only Costate suspiciously stared at the black and white mist in the distance.
"What’s wrong?" Cedric noticed his unease and couldn’t help but ask.
"Just feels a bit off." Costate frowned, "Creator Divine Craftsman, are you sure there’s no other danger in this area?"
Mikhail replied blandly: "We’ve explored over twenty times combined with the Forging Hammer; if Lord doesn’t believe, you can explore on your own."
Costate glanced at the distant mist, knowing it would be foolish to detach from the main group; he shook his head: "No need, I trust Lord."
"What’s really going on?" Cedric probed further.
"Nothing." Costate did not explain; his own feelings were hard to make others empathize with and believe.
After waiting a moment longer, everyone’s eyes shifted as the mechanical fortress opened, retracting into mechanical bodies, and Li Ming swiftly exited from it.
"Hmm?" Mikhail was the first to glance over, quite bewildered, only to see the silver metal block reduced to a tiny piece, its surface covered with cracks.
Boom!
The next moment, the metal block exploded, immediately followed by a violently powerful force erupting, as if repressed for a long time.
Metal fragments shot out in all directions. Spatial ripples surged, visibly clear to the naked eye, like a tranquil lake hit by a boulder, creating layers of ripples.
It was as if it turned into a piece of trembling silk, distorted and deformed.
Subsequently, a fortress-like gigantic chest appeared out of nowhere, compressing the air into turbulent winds which raged wildly as it descended with a crash.
The reactions of those present were incredibly swift, retreating immediately.
The ground resounded continuously, and the surging dust in the field was instantly suppressed by some invisible force.
"Is this their warehouse?" Diwusi examined, the rectangular chest black on the surface, with a matte finish, and was sufficiently massive, almost covering the entire area.
"The molecular gaps have become significant, and the sturdiness of this material has suffered serious degradation..." Mikhail observed a piece of metal fragment in his hand, astonished in his heart: "It could even be said it’s not the same kind of material as the original."
"How is this achieved?" He looked at Li Ming, puzzled, never having seen such a method, capable of degrading metal materials?
"Let’s go in and take a look."
Compared to Mikhail, others were more interested in what was inside, closing in on the chest immediately.
The material of the chest wasn’t as hard, serving merely as structural support, and was easily opened with a cut.
They filed inside, entering a vast space, where surprisingly there were no weapon racks, only a few giant metal tanks placed centrally.
The surfaces of the tanks were covered with complex and mysterious patterns, with occasional weak currents skating along the lines, emitting sizzling sounds.
"Is this... nanomaterials?" Cedric approached one of the tanks, tearing the outer shell off with his hand, releasing a large amount of black liquid, undulating irregularly.
"It should be a kind of programmable unified material." Mikhail approached, casually drawing a blob of black liquid, continually molding it into various shapes in his hand.
"Mid and low-level weapons, even various infrastructures, should all be constructed using this material, saving a lot of production lines. We’ve discovered similar formed objects before, but this raw material, it’s our first encounter."
Mikhail’s eyes shifted: "In the Holy Spirit Civilization, except for some high-strength mechanical bodies and weapons, only high-end solid metals are used."
"But it’s still nanomaterial." Cedric said wordlessly.
Reynolds scoffed: "I remember there have long been numerous breakthroughs in nanomaterials in the Empire, but why haven’t they come up with such unified materials."
"If mid- and low-level machines and equipment can all be made with unified materials, wouldn’t that save a great deal of effort?"
