Chapter 916: Chapter 473 Space-Time Cutting

"Is this thing made of Metal Materials?"

Li Ming asked.

Everyone looked over, finding the question strange. If it’s not made of Metal Materials, what else could it be?

But Mikhail frowned, pondering for a while before answering, "It matches all characteristics of Metal Materials. In theory, it should be Metal Materials, but I can’t guarantee it."

Isn’t that nonsense?

The others were speechless, feeling their conversation was meaningless.

"Stop the nonsense, let’s figure out how to open it first." Gonzalez said gloomily.

Reynolds immediately mocked him, "What do you know? Whether it’s Metal Materials, there’s a big difference here."

Gonzalez gave a cold glance but did not retort; they were not experts, pretending to understand would only be more embarrassing.

"Can I have a look?" Li Ming asked tentatively.

Mikhail didn’t mind, stepping aside: "Go ahead, this thing poses no threat. In fact, it hasn’t even started any defense. We can’t open it simply because its material is too sturdy."

Li Ming stepped forward, with the Mechanical Guard surrounding, leaving almost no gap, leaving everyone speechless.

Trying to touch it, Li Ming raised his eyebrows; no Control prompt?

Then he tried absorbing the Metal Energy, which worked instantly, and at an astonishing rate. His eyelids twitched in surprise: "This thing isn’t an integrated device? Just a piece of pure metal."

"You actually figured it out." Mikhail said incredulously, glancing at Li Ming, then thinking of the Azure Dragon, feeling a bit of jealousy.

He nodded: "That’s right, this thing is indeed a piece of metal. The Holy Spirit Civilization somehow embedded a space within."

"The advantage is, once the internal space is sealed, aside from smashing the metal piece, there’s hardly any way to unlock the inner space; a simple yet brute defense measure."

"What does that mean?" Costate frowned, "Does your discussion help us open this thing?"

"It doesn’t mean anything, just discussing its design." Mikhail shook his head, as Costate looked at Li Ming, "Do you have a way?"

Li Ming reluctantly withdrew his hand; he did have a way, which was to absorb the Metal Energy.

Once the Metal Materials are fully absorbed, the inner space will naturally open.

This piece of metal contains an astronomical amount of Metal Energy, with the fastest absorption rate he’s ever seen.

"Even the Hammer Divine Craftsman couldn’t open it; how could I have a way?" He shook his head helplessly, retreating to the side.

"Doesn’t the Azure Dragon have a way?" Costate asked pointedly.

"Uh... it’s difficult to contact my teacher here." Li Ming explained in a low voice, intending to sever the connection with the Azure Dragon temporarily to avoid complicating matters.

Everyone’s expressions subtly changed, exchanging glances silently.

"I thought the Azure Dragon sent you here because it could descend remotely at any time." Crow said blandly.

"Idiot..." Reynolds muttered, "If the Azure Dragon can break through the external Space-Time isolation to communicate remotely, you should prepare to kneel."

No one paid him heed, not even Crow argued; Reynolds was just a reckless fellow, embarrassing himself most of all.

Li Ming remained silent, shamelessly planning to keep it to himself.

Once opened, everything inside must be shared; he hoped to find an opportunity to sneak back and enjoy it alone.

Of course, that assumes this group really can’t find a way to open it.

"Based on your speculations, what’s inside?" Cedric asked.

"Not sure." Mikhail shook his head, seeing everyone deep in thought, he remarked, "Don’t blame me for not warning you, with the chaos outside, it can’t be overflowing inside."

"Just because we can’t open it, doesn’t mean there’s something good inside; it’s just that its defense measure is exceptional, there’s a good chance it’s just an empty shell inside."

The group frowned, their enthusiasm waning.

"Everyone, we’ve used all the methods we can, now it’s your turn." Mikhail elegantly gestured while retreating from the central region.

The group surrounded the area, their eyes flickering, hesitating to make a move, first conducting detection and small-scale probes.

"Let me try..." Cedric was the first to take action, as the others retreated a distance.

His arms swung, and the diamond-shaped black metal on the back of his hands unfolded layer by layer along his skin, forming a pair of black gloves, not bulky, just a thin layer.

The surface glimmered with a somber light, golden patterns distinctly visible.

A surge of vigorous life force exploded, dust on the ground billowed, Mikhail frowned, advising: "Don’t release too much power, if massive destruction is done to the area, we don’t know what will happen."

"A little trouble." Cedric looked at the group, they all nodded in agreement.

With assurance, Cedric’s muscles tensed in an instant as if each cell was burning; the energy particles on his body surface boiled, yet restrained from escaping.

Veins bulged on his arms, tension like a drawn bow, pulling back slowly, terrifying black Thunder started surging on the gloves, twisting and intertwining madly, crackling with frightening sounds, causing spatial tremors.

Yet the space here was much more robust than the outside, showing no visible damage.
