Chapter 584: Chapter 306: Who Can Break Through the Defense?
Asimara looked on with trepidation, because the Azure Dragon’s mecha had never appeared in any records, seeming to be yet another brand-new mecha.
Moreover, this style of attire was also unprecedented, no longer the Nano Mech that Azure Dragon was known for.
At this moment, Asimara thought of many things; she originally believed that Li Ming had sacrificed certain Dimensional Gods, who had bestowed upon him incredibly powerful forces.
But now it seemed there might be another possibility, that what he acquired was not power, but that he had summoned a person.
This type of precise interstellar teleportation, although difficult, was something she had never heard of, but that did not mean Dimension Life Forms couldn’t do it.
The United Fleet had no means of locking down space; this indeed was a risky yet highly viable method.
It was even possible that Li Ming wasn’t the only one who had killed Gabriel; Azure Dragon had assisted him from the sidelines. With this in mind, everything seemed much more reasonable.
Thinking of this, Asimara felt even more apprehension; from beginning to end, she had been played by this master-student pair, manipulated like a puppet.
If the whole affair were to spread, she would be nothing more than a decorative vase from then on.
"Now, we can talk with peace of mind," came the voice of Azure Dragon.
"Talk with peace of mind?" Upon hearing this, Reina scoffed, surveying the various expressions of the people around him and said coldly: "Azure Dragon, I’ve heard of you, quite a character indeed."
"But, aren’t you part of the Torch Organization? You should be in a hostile state with the Yitelan Civilization, so how did you show up here, sneaking in quietly?"
He spoke casually, not taking Azure Dragon seriously at all, at least judging from all the information he had gathered so far, the latter was not qualified to contend with him.
"Tsk tsk, the heavily guarded United Fleet was infiltrated by you, you must have quite the grand scheme in mind. The deaths of the two on the ground have something to do with you, no doubt."
This statement brought a silent curse from Asimara. The appearance of Azure Dragon and Li Ming indirectly declared the internal defeat of the United Fleet.
It was easy for one to associate with the recent death of Gabriel, especially Reina, the guy set up to take the fall.
This time, he felt a bit more confident, straightened his chest, and huffed:
"Just do as you just said, take these guys to check their memories. If you really have no issues, I am willing to undergo memory scrutiny."
Then, he pointed at Azure Dragon, "Especially this guy, the death of Gabriel, he can’t be uninvolved."
"What are you implying, sir? Do you suspect us of colluding with him?" Asimara’s face turned ugly, seemingly angry and indignant:
"The sudden Star Stream Dark Tide causing the fleet to lose control, how he got in, we indeed have no idea, but the timing of the Star Stream Dark Tide’s outbreak is such a coincidence, the Judge must be the one siding with Azure Dragon!"
"Why are you explaining so much now? Weren’t you ready to face death just a moment ago?" Reina sneered.
Albert was silent, looking from left to right. He did not suspect Asimara and her group; they had no reason, nor the capacity to harm Gabriel.
But this suddenly emerged Azure Dragon was indeed suspicious.
"What’s with all the barking from a stray black dog here?" Li Ming did not defend himself, speaking indifferently, everyone could sense the disdain in his tone.
He was also somewhat surprised himself; by controlling the core, he could observe the situation outside of the Core Relics.
Everything was fine initially, but then the Circular Crown Guard exploded out of the blue, which surprised him, so he had to come out of the Core Relics first.
Otherwise, once the ruins were cleared and the Core Relics were left alone in outer space, with everyone’s attention on it, it would be nearly impossible to escape again.
He had intended to lurk in the shadows and sneak away quietly, but this white-haired Level S Life Form turned out to be so sharp that he detected his concealment.
In an emergency, to avoid exposing his facade, he had to temporarily create a Li Ming using Mimic Projection.
A person created with Mimic Projection was almost indistinguishable from the real person, only incapable of withstanding any external attacks.
If Gabriel and Luo Nan were still alive, they might have noticed some clues and harbored doubt, but unfortunately, both were already dead.
What surprised him even more was that it turned out to be this Reina who had killed Gabriel.
The logic behind this was not difficult to understand; glancing over the faces of Asimara and others, he could pretty much guess it—it was nothing more than covering up their own defeat.
He was happy to see this play out and naturally would not expose it.
"That fierce... huh?" Even Feder was taken aback; this was Sky Split, a Level S Life Form, a black dog?
Asimara hadn’t expected Azure Dragon to be so audacious. Where did his confidence come from? His mecha?
Her face shifted slightly, turning anticipation instead, hoping that Azure Dragon was not all bluff.
The stronger the opponent, the more justified her defeat.
Reina’s face suddenly darkened, and Albert almost thought he was going to make a move, but he held back, saying coldly: "Albert, are you enjoying the show? Don’t delay and take those two into custody."
Reina was seething with anger; if anyone had dared to speak to him like that in the past, he would have already lashed out.
But now he had a big black mark on him, being accused of killing Gabriel was a charge that absolutely could not fall on him.
What if he accidentally killed his opponent in a moment of negligence? How would he then clear his name?
Albert squinted his eyes, not sure who had killed Gabriel. It might be better to let these two argue it out.
"Teacher..." Suddenly, the Li Ming from behind spoke up, looking somewhat helplessly as he reminded: "I’m still here, could you please be mindful when you talk."
