Chapter 574: Chapter 301: Want to Inherit But Need to Go Through Multiple Reviews? Transform into My Shape!
"Wait, Prince Gabriel hasn’t returned yet?" Amidst her chaotic thoughts, she suddenly remembered, looked around, but found no trace of Prince Gabriel.
"Not yet." The many commanders surrounding him were slightly dazed, still caught up in their tactical thoughts, shaking their heads.
"Which areas are the surveillance probes damaged?" Asimara inquired, and someone immediately responded, "Mainly the Restricted Area and the left-side marginal corridor."
"The left-side marginal corridor?"
Asimara quickly sketched a map in her mind, and then her expression slightly changed, deducing from the overall trend that Li Ming must be heading toward the Core Relics.
"Rest assured, with Commander Luo Nan there, catching Li Ming will be easy." A commander couldn’t help but offer comfort; the might of an A-level Space Superpower User was well known.
Asimara ignored him and quickly asked, "What’s the situation at the Core Relics?"
No sooner had she spoken than someone replied, "No anomalies have been detected for the time being, only because there has been no energy supply for a long time, the Energy Hook has shut down, and the protective barrier on the surface of the Core Relics has been restored."
"Restored? That’s good..." Asimara breathed a sigh of relief, seeing it rather as a fortunate development.
Right at that moment, a figure squeezed through the hole in the command room door once more.
"Wu Yanqing?" Asimara’s eyebrows and expression shifted slightly, the surrounding soldiers quickly raised their Energy Rifles, watching him warily, "Where is Li Ming?"
"You’re asking me?" Wu Yanqing shook his head, appearing very indifferent.
Asimara noticed that he no longer wore the inhibitor and couldn’t help but speak coldly, "I advise you to think carefully, it’s best not to make unwise decisions."
"Well, here I am to find you, caught in the net again, so go ahead and capture me." Wu Yanqing stretched out his hands.
Asimara was suspicious and wary, peering up and down at Wu Yanqing with her amber eyes, seemingly puzzled, "What exactly do you want? Why didn’t Li Ming take you with him after he unlocked your Power Inhibitor?"
"Who knows." Wu Yanqing shrugged, "He only unlocked my inhibitor to prevent me from being killed by the shock waves."
Asimara sneered, "He was indeed deliberately captured, he’s quite bold."
"Unfortunately, Prince Gabriel won’t let him off this time, the kid might take the chance to finish him off." Asimara said heavily, still keeping a close watch on Wu Yanqing’s face.
Wu Yanqing’s face paused slightly, as from the scene he witnessed, he felt that Li Ming wouldn’t die so easily.
Seeing Wu Yanqing’s reaction, Asimara was slightly shocked, "You don’t think he’ll be killed?"
Her voice turned much colder, "What do you know?"
One bad news after another, as well as various things outside the plan, gradually chipped away Asimara’s patience.
It had to be wondered if this were all part of a grand scheme, with Li Ming intentionally being captured and infiltrating the United Fleet.
The Star Stream Dark Tide follows, and the Judger Fleet lies in ambush.
Meanwhile, Li Ming has escaped, seemingly trying to sneak into the Core Relics, but the Core Relics have been sealed...
Perhaps, there are other plans.
Overall, it looked interconnected.
She was even beginning to suspect that the Torch Organization had collaborated with the Judger Civilization.
Wu Yanqing remained expressionless, silent.
"You..." Asimara stared at him coldly, the princess’s killing intent rising.
"Commander, let me go look for Prince Gabriel." Feder suddenly spoke up, breaking the cold atmosphere.
Asimara gave him a glance, her gaze lingered on Wu Yanqing, and then she said rather irritated, "Fine, tell him, if the situation is urgent, to kill if he must!"
Feder’s heart jumped, and he nodded and left.
Stepping out, he called a few Double-tailed Scorpion soldiers with him and headed straight for the left-side marginal corridor where the surveillance had been damaged; lacking other clues, this was the first place to check.
En route, Feder couldn’t help but be amazed inside, Li Ming was truly audacious, daring to be deliberately captured and infiltrating in such a manner.
But it had to be said; this was indeed a good method. The impregnable United Fleet just like that had been penetrated by Li Ming.
"Moreover, with the Star Stream Dark Tide approaching and Asimara deploying all A-level life forms, he has the means to escape the gene inhibitor, indeed capable of much." Feder mused as he sped on his way, "Even if not killed, the punishment won’t be light."
"In case Prince Gabriel really does lose his temper and kills him, it’s not impossible."
But he felt this possibility was small; Li Ming wouldn’t provoke Prince Gabriel when facing a life-or-death crisis.
This guy was incredibly cunning.
"Also, how did he escape the gene inhibitor? His was A-level."
"Stop..." He had been thinking all the way, and as he was nearing the marginal corridor, his steps suddenly halted.
This place belonged to a redundant passageway; under normal circumstances, no one would use this path, let alone under such a heightened state of alert.
He signaled the Double-tailed Scorpion soldiers to scout ahead, and the two soldiers cautiously turned the corner, before making a hand gesture.
Only then did Feder approach, and upon turning his gaze, what he saw first was a hole in the ground.
It seemed there had been a battle, but the area affected wasn’t large, and it had ended quickly.
