Chapter 558: Chapter 293: Li Ming Reappears with Level 46 Development Potential!?
This concoction uses Molten Lava Pepper, grown in magma, and the drink it produces is not only high in temperature but also immensely spicy.
The stomach and throat are quite fragile parts of most life forms; a sudden stimulation can be overwhelming, even for a Level C life form.
"Huff..." Exhaling a breath mixed with sparks, Li Ming was just about to taste other drinks when a distinct fragrance, even amidst the complex smells, wafted over from beside him, accompanied by a clear voice.
"Are you alone?"
She’s a human female, with black hair, her pale legs disappearing into the hem of her knee-length skirt, dressed in a crop top, tilting her head with a sly and bright smile.
She took a seat beside Li Ming with natural grace, and the skirt that was initially long enough seemed to slip above her knees as her legs crossed, her knee subtly brushing against Li Ming’s right thigh.
"My name is Rose."
"Sort of," Li Ming pondered, then asked, "I’m planning to order every drink here, what would you like? I’ll order an extra."
Rose’s eyes lit up; she hadn’t guessed wrong – this was definitely an easy mark.
She’d thought it was just for fun, but never expected to meet such a prime "easy mark." She had noticed this young man the moment he sat down here.
Filo’s long-staple silk shirt, no less than 100,000 Star Coins in price, Baron Boyim’s trousers, woven from the muscle fibers of an ice phoenix leopard, priced at no less than 300,000 Star Coins.
And as for his shoes, they were of a brand and material she hadn’t even seen before.
A top-notch golden goose, especially when he was looking at the "Fiery Breath" with an inquisitive gaze, it’s very likely that he’s one of those rare guests with Star Stream Tickets, residing at "Heart of Wine."
"Heart of Wine" was more luxurious and extravagant, not like this place – a mingling ground for the third-rate crowd.
This golden goose probably came here seeking new experiences.
"One Amber Blue Sea," she said softly, choosing the cheapest drink.
Rose speculated about his background, watching him casually throw around a bag full of Luxury Coins, her eyes growing even hotter.
Different specialty drinks swiftly arrived. Rose held a glass of glowing blue liquor, taking a delicate sip, her tender tongue fleetingly visible at her lips.
"Mint ice crystals with Brenval Sparkling Water, that’s quite a nice mix..." She smiled amiably, having specifically learned how to appreciate liquor to hook similar big fishes.
However, just as she finished speaking, she was taken aback to see the young man in front of her gulping down drink after drink, without even letting them touch his tongue, let alone savoring them.
In the dance floor area, many nearby people stared in amazement.
"At least a Level C life form, should be under twenty-five years old, a top-notch golden goose..." Rose was thrilled. She must seize this opportunity; if she plays her cards right, her future would be worry-free.
People like him usually have a strict upbringing, so they seize the chance to try things they’ve never experienced...
"Not bad..." Li Ming exhaled and let out a rare burp; the stimulation to his taste buds indeed was beyond what ordinary food could offer.
"It’s my first time seeing someone drinking like this." Rose chuckled lightly, now appearing much more composed, trying to suggest through her words that she too came from the "Upper Layer."
"Another round..." Li Ming ignored her and spoke to the bartender.
Rose secretly ground her teeth and tried starting another conversation: "Do you have friends nearby?"
"Sort of," Li Ming nodded.
Is he that hard to talk to? Rose bit her lip, then said to the bartender, "Same as him, I’ll have a round of everything."
Li Ming looked a bit surprised, and Rose was inwardly enthused, just waiting for him to ask why. She could then smoothly respond, "I was always tightly controlled by my family, never got a chance to drink like this..." in hopes of evoking an emotional connection and capturing him.
However, what she hadn’t anticipated was that the guy merely glanced at her and didn’t ask anything.
Damn!
Rose cursed, then pretended to sigh, "Sigh, my family is strict, this time..."
Yet before she could finish her sentence, a ’bang’ was heard – the young man slammed his glass down on the table.
Annoyed?
Rose’s heart leapt with joy; no matter what the reaction, as long as there was one.
Suddenly, the piercing music stopped.
A discomforting silence ensued, followed by the lights dimming.
Finally, a blinding white light illuminated the entire dance floor.
"Damn, what the hell!?"
"%@#"
Various interstellar curses voiced in native tongues erupted.
"Silence!" A somber scolding exploded.
In the center of the dance floor, two rows of towering figures in Combat Armor walked onto the platform, each holding an Energy Rifle.
"Double-tailed Scorpion!" Rose was startled; her pupils shook as she looked around and then swiftly leapt behind the bar.
She almost crouched down, but her body stiffened when she saw the young man’s gaze fixed intently on her.
"Quick, come here..." she whispered softly. "These are the minions of Princess Asmara of the Yitelan Civilization; I don’t know what they’re doing here, but if you don’t want your family to find out, you better hide fast."
"You know them?" Li Ming was intrigued.
Rose quickly explained, "My family told me about them."
Li Ming was noncommittal; a gunshot sounded behind them, as a drunken fool who challenged them was promptly left with a gaping hole in his forehead.
The room fell gradually silent; most life forms started to crouch with their heads down. More Double-tailed Scorpion combat troops swarmed in from all directions, dividing the area into isolated segments.
