Chapter 554: Chapter 291 Trench Warfare - The Terrifying Oppression of the United Fleet

"This..." Benny looked bewildered as he walked through the moving members of the Torch Organization, finally finding Connet standing on the deck, confused, "What’s going on here? Why is everyone packing up?"

"They’re leaving," Connet said calmly.

"Leaving?" Benny was astonished, asking in a low voice, "Azure Dragon, he agreed to let them go?"

"I made an agreement with Azure Dragon."

"Agreement?" Benny suddenly had a bad feeling, his heart skipped a beat, and he asked cautiously, "What agreement?"

Connet turned his head, his expression calm as he stared at him, "I gave Azure Dragon the coordinates, to let the others leave, all grudges written off."

"What!?" Benny exclaimed, his face turning expressive, trembling as he pointed at Connet, speechless, yet he couldn’t help but grit his teeth and lower his voice, "What about me?"

"What do you need to do? How is it related to me?" Connet shook his head, "We haven’t been allies for a long time."

A surge of rage erupted in Benny’s heart, he felt an urge to tear Connet to pieces.

But considering the disparity in their strength, he had to restrain himself, trembling with anger.

Connet had completely sidelined him.

Now only Benny was left to fend for himself against Azure Dragon in what they call "negotiations," and just the thought of it was suffocating.

"You’re letting me confront Azure Dragon alone!?"

"You can choose to do as I did," Connet remarked indifferently, "I found that Azure Dragon is actually quite reasonable."

"Ha?" Benny laughed in anger, "You’re speaking for him now? Weren’t you gritting your teeth to kill him?"

"Do you have any respect for Fernand? For Kewis?"

"There are no forever enemies," Connet replied with a light smile, "Only if the Torch Organization continues to exist, can there be a chance to avenge Fernand. He would appreciate seeing this scene. As for Kewis, he is me, and I am him."

"You... you..." Benny was obviously not arguing for those two, just trying to provoke Connet, but seeing the other complete his logical reasoning and self-consolation.

He was so angry he couldn’t utter a single word, only managing to squeeze out through his throat, "Coward!"

Connet simply smiled, having figured out everything long ago.

He could do this, but Benny could not; their goals were not at all aligned.

Benny could only leave cursively.

Theo and the others were somewhat surprised to see this scene. After understanding the situation, Ulrich even praised, "Very decisive, worthy of being the leader of the Torch Organization."

"Amazed that Azure Dragon didn’t choose to kill him," Sandro muttered.

"If Azure Dragon had chosen to kill him, none of us would likely be alive now," Ulrich shook his head.

Sandro looked embarrassed and fell silent.

After waiting for most of the day, the non-essential members of the Torch Organization packed up and left on other escort ships.

The combat capability of the Torch Organization’s fleet was limited, and it was useless to follow.

The Coyle, however, was left alone, continuing towards the set coordinates, the main ship without escorts resembling a large target.

But Li Ming didn’t intend to rely on this flagship for combat; it was merely a means of travel.

They had a target, but others did not.

Who knows how many were covertly watching the United Fleet; their sudden disappearance caused a major shock.

Within the area of the Black Hole Network, discussions were already heated, with several large armed forces confused, and speculations flew everywhere.

Within two days, rumors circulated that Asimara had opened the Core Relics and taken everything inside.

Especially the Judge Civilization’s Judger Fleet was almost going mad, ready to unleash forces.

"If a billion is not enough, then five billion; if five billion is not enough, then ten billion!"

"I can’t believe she could disappear without a trace under everyone’s watch!"

In the barren starry sky, a pale gold fleet was neatly arranged. Inside the command center of the Judger Fleet, an admiral named Antonio, with silver hair and only a golden vertical pupil on his face, adorned with medals on his combat suit, his roaring voice echoed throughout the command center.

Three days later, the Coyle officially broke through the outer perimeter of the Red River Star Stream and entered the core area.

The periphery was similar to the area of the Land of Stars, while the core area had always been filled with various brutal voids and turbulences, making normal warp travel impossible.

If one didn’t warp travel, it would be slower than a snail in terms of universal scale.

But during the Tidal Period, it was much more normal, allowing for warp mode as long as one was careful of the gravitational tides and the occasional debris and ruins entry.

"It looks the same as the outside world..." Li Ming stood on the deck, the main ship temporarily adjusting.

The starlight twinkled, worthy of note might be the numerous meteoric glows; those were actually the condensates of various debris and ruins.

From the outside, the Red River Star Stream seemed like a ribbon; after approaching the core area, it turned into a thin red line.

"Has anyone approached it?" Li Ming stared at the nearly slit-like red trace.

From this position, it looked like a slit; it might even be exceptionally thick up close.

"According to records, no. Many have tried, but none have returned," Dark Night beside him shook his head, eyes slightly squinted.
