Chapter 313: Chapter 170: Odd Object - Snatching the Spaceship_2

"Are they fighting?" Li Ming instantly accelerated until he could see clearly.

It was more than just a fight, they were practically smashing each other’s brains out.

Sela’s fleet and the raider fleet were engaged in an intense battle, with various colors of Energy Beams intertwining as small Combat Flying Devices crisscrossed each other.

On the ground, flames spewed from the electromagnetic rifles in the raiders’ hands, and the massive grenades exploded violently from time to time.

Despite their rudimentary and flimsy armor and complete lack of discipline in battle, at the critical moment, they could grind their teeth and blow themselves up along with their enemies.

Meanwhile, Sela’s elite combat troops, used to giving their all against any enemy, were also generous with their firepower, skilfully maneuvering with Energy Barriers in their hands, advancing and retreating decisively.

Boom!

Suddenly, a blinding white orb fell from the sky, like a mini sun, accompanied by a piercing air howl.

It struck the raider camp below and the resultant massive explosion turned everything a blinding white for anyone staring directly at it, barely able to see.

Many raiders were instantly lifted by the invisible shockwave, thrown high into the air, like a fist smashed into iron sand, with gravel and blood flying together.

"How can this be?" Li Ming was puzzled, but he didn’t need to hide deliberately anymore; he boldly stepped into the battlefield, carefully dodging stray bullets and potential main ship artillery fire.

Although he didn’t know what was happening, he had a vague feeling that it had something to do with Ya Ro.

...

Meanwhile, inside the "Serpent," Ya Ro tossed a hooded figure into a small flying device and then boarded it himself, quickly starting it up.

His body was covered in blood, his expression cold.

"Let me go! Let me go!" the person inside the black hood kept shouting as the small flying device spewed intense flames and shot out from the main ship of the Serpent.

Ya Ro finally breathed a sigh of relief, removed the black hood from the figure’s head, revealing golden vertical pupils — it was Kay.

"Who are you, and where are you taking me!" Kay repeatedly demanded, his voice urgent as Ya Ro kept a grave expression, constantly aware of the battlefield environment, with the radar buzzing incessantly and Energy Beams occasionally whizzing past.

"You’re one of the raiders? I can pay you, name your price!" Kay said gravely.

"Stop pretending. You’ve already applied for political asylum, where would you get the money?" Ya Ro scoffed.

"You..." Kay was taken aback, then realized, "You’re from the interstellar alliance?"

"Why did you guys take so long!" Kay sighed in relief, then bellowed even louder, "Do you know how those people treated me!"

"Damn, shut up!" Ya Ro suddenly shouted fiercely, and then the entire flying device vibrated as it crashed from the sky, smashing into the ground.

Bang! The door was kicked open, and Ya Ro, carrying Kay, ran out again, his eyelids twitching as they quickly rolled away just as two thick Energy Beams struck where they had just been.

Boom!

A burly figure jumped out from a flying device overhead and crashed to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

"Ya Ro, I knew it was you causing trouble!" This person’s skin was red, covered in scales, and he stood three meters tall.

"Red demon." Ya Ro’s face became grave; this was the last C-class Life Form under Atom, nearly as powerful as himself.

The battle continued fiercely, and Kay trembled all over.

The Red Demon sneered, "When the boss sees you, he’ll be very..."

Bang!

Before he could finish his sentence, the Red Demon’s head unexpectedly exploded, and Ya Ro’s already serious expression turned into one of sheer astonishment.

"How did you manage to set those two against each other?" A somewhat familiar voice came from nearby. Ya Ro was momentarily stunned, then his face suddenly filled with joy: "Azure Dragon!"

"You, you escaped?" he said delightedly, then asked, "What about Atom and Duke Bai Ye?"

"They got lost inside," Li Ming responded vaguely, glancing at Kay, "This isn’t the place to talk, let’s get out of here first."

"Right," and Ya Ro, who had seemed somewhat frantic, now appeared to have found his backbone, "Our spaceship is to the south."

"Your ship..." Li Ming’s expression turned peculiar, shaking his head, "Forget about that."

Ya Ro was somewhat perplexed, only to see Li Ming raising his hand, a silver liquid flew out from his cuff, suddenly expanding into a huge silver net that, at an extremely fast speed, ensnared a combat flying device that was swooping over their heads.

The green, slender exterior was Sela’s flying device.

Having dodged several streaks of light in succession and tossed out the pilot, the three of them boarded this flying device and then flew toward Sela’s fleet formation.

"You’re planning to hijack Duke Bai Ye’s spaceship?" Ya Ro realized this, his throat tightened, feeling it was truly risky.

After barely escaping from the assault of two B-level Life Forms, the first choice now should have been to safely escape from there.

However, by now he was experienced, and watching Li Ming operate was all he could do, knowing he couldn’t stop him.

The battle was urgent, and initially, this rebellious flying device did not attract much attention until they neared Duke Bai Ye’s craft, when the communications channel began to erupt with inquiries.

After multiple warnings, they finally faced attack interceptions, but the highly evolved silver gray particles easily neutralized these ordinary attacks.

Having the key to Duke Bai Ye’s cabin, the subordinate cabin door opened, the small flying device entered, and amidst the few sparse guards who cursed continuously, all were tied up by Ya Ro and thrown out.

"You actually have Bai Ye’s master key?" After swiftly dealing with the minor thugs, Ya Ro couldn’t help being astonished.

Facing the pursuit of two B-level Life Forms, Li Ming still had time to steal the keys?

"Full power, time to go," Li Ming said, uninterested in explaining more, stepping into the command cabin.

"Alrighty," Ya Ro snapped back to reality, very excited, though unfamiliar with this spaceship, he still knew how to operate its basic propulsion function.

The propulsion engine, running at full power, instantly burst into fierce flames, tearing through the air, quickly flying out of Sela’s fleet.

"Whoa!" Ya Ro yelled out, very excited, as several sporadic attacks came, all repelled by the external energy barrier.

The communications channel was continuously filled with questioning and reprimanding, and Ya Ro, pinching his throat, cursed and then shut down the channel.

The surface of the planet gradually shrank, replaced on both sides of the porthole by twinkling starlight.

"Entering the jump track, goodbye then," Ya Ro operated, switching the engines from propulsion to high-powered jump drive, the starlight on both sides stretched into thin lines.

Only then did Ya Ro’s highly tense and excited nerves begin to relax.

"Shit, we actually got away, even stole Duke Bai Ye’s spaceship. When that guy comes back, he’ll be furious."

Li Ming smiled faintly, having already activated the smart terminal, pulled out a data cable, and through the key, started trying to acquire the highest authority.

"Right, right, these ships all have advanced positioning systems, we must turn it off, otherwise, we’ll be tracked." Ya Ro nodded repeatedly.

Only then did the bewildered gold-eyed person come to a realization, muttering: "Did I escape?"

"Yes, you’ve escaped," Ya Ro took a deep breath, "Damn, because of you, all my years of undercover work wasted."

"No!" Kay shouted, his face full of unease: "I must go back!"

"Go back?" Ya Ro was puzzled, "Have you gone mad from the torture, what for going back?"

"You don’t understand, stop quickly, I must go back, I have to!" Kay looked toward Li Ming, yelling.

Li Ming’s eyes flickered slightly, suspecting the guy wanted to go back because of the gold vertical pupils in his possession.

"If I kill him, will you be in trouble?" Li Ming ignored him, instead asking Ya Ro.

"Ah, ah..." Ya Ro’s heart skipped a beat, "No no, he might be delirious from the raider’s torture, he’ll be fine once he calms down."

"What tortured..." Kay still wanted to speak, but seeing the cold gleam in Li Ming’s eyes, his heart suddenly skipped a beat.

Ya Ro also looked at him, "No way, I’ll knock him out first."

Saying so, he moved to do just that.

"Wait..." Kay quickly cried out: "Aren’t you with the Interstellar Alliance?"

Ya Ro threatened: "We saved you, and not a word of thanks, that’s fine, but all this fuss, yelling to go back."

"Even if I kill you, how would the Interstellar Alliance ever know?"
