Chapter 294: Chapter 161 C-Class Life Form Flame Thunder Emperor Primary Unleashed Form_2

"Thank you, senior brother, for watching over me," Li Ming said with a smile as he got up, excusing himself to get accustomed to his body as he returned to his own room, leaving behind Ya Ro, who seemed to be about to contact someone through the smart terminal.

Back in his room, Li Ming’s eyes gradually took on a feverish glow.

He had unlocked another Control Bar, which was no small feat in terms of enhancing his strength.

However, before that, he wanted to try another ability that he had been anticipating for a long time.

He exhaled a breath, attempting to tap into the memories deeply engraved in his genes, "Gene Homotopy Evolution Theory" was already in place.

A mysterious power coursed through his body, altering his genetic characteristics on some level to meet the release requirements of the Flame Thunder Emperor.

Then, accompanied by a slight sensation of pain, waves of energy radiated from Li Ming’s body, Red Arcs burst forth, and the lights in the room flickered ceaselessly.

A surge of overwhelming and powerful energy erupted from his body, his entire figure gradually enlarged, his skin turned a reddish color, with a crystalline texture that shimmered with energetic luminescence.

He had already removed his clothes; symmetrical red patterns appeared on the surface of his skin, bursting with Red Arcs, and his hair floated and turned a reddish color, like dancing flames.

His eyes, however, turned the color of sapphires, as if a storm of thunder was churning within them, and a small crown of red and blue appeared above his head, constructed of burning Red Flames and flickering blue arcs, giving him an imposing and domineering look.

"To actually transform into this form..." Li Ming stood in front of the mirror, somewhat baffled; this was the Flame Thunder Emperor’s primary form of release.

He had thought he might turn into some kind of monster, but it turned out his body was just proportionally enlarged, and most unexpectedly, there was even a crown. He wondered how such a release form was even possible.

He was puzzled, but the strength of this form was indeed formidable; he should be at Perfect Release, which meant a 500% amplification.

However, this thing was not a Controlled Object, nor was it simply an amplification; it was an all-encompassing enhancement of strength, speed, defense, and even all Elemental abilities.

No wonder it’s an A-grade gene sequence, Li Ming couldn’t help but clench his fists and did not dare to easily release his power.

Ya Ro’s spaceship was too fragile.

After reigning in this form, Li Ming was satisfied, the only drawback being that he couldn’t use it openly, or rather, he needed to eliminate any witnesses.

After the initial release, Li Ming still felt a swelling pain in his body.

After a slight adjustment, he began to check the Controlled Objects he possessed, having unlocked a new slot, he needed to reorganize his system.

The combined system originally consisted of Tank Guard Armor, Justice Arm Armor, Magnetic Boots, and silver gray particles.

The remaining slot had as its options Thunderstorm Exoskeleton, Prism Ion Sword, and Taipo Mecha.

Now, with the Taipo Mecha becoming Guardian Armament and an extra slot available, it was perfect to fit both the Prism Ion Sword and Thunderstorm Exoskeleton.

The combined combat form brought, through Controlled Objects, an eightfold defense amplification, Stone Skin ability, ninefold strength amplification and Abnormal Fire Ability, threefold stamina, sixfold speed amplification, and Slicing Ability.

Plus, double strength and stamina amplifications brought about by his forging technique and profession.

And the primary release form of the Flame Thunder Emperor provided a comprehensive fivefold amplification, but since his gene seed wasn’t "Mad Lion," the release required the amplification of "Gene Homotopy Evolution Theory" and took up a Control Bar slot.

The Feros Mech provided a lot of data amplification, mainly to complement Thunderstorm Fervor, but its regular combat enhancements overlapped with others and were not as remarkable.

The burst system hadn’t changed much, and with the primary form of Flame Thunder Emperor, it could reach up to a 23.5-fold strength amplification.

There were no stronger items on his person, and many Controlled Objects couldn’t yet be replaced.

As for the Evolution System, Gale Lord Evolution Theory fit perfectly, providing up to a sixfold increase in development speed, although he had not yet mastered it.

The Speed System was missing a pair of boots, which he could get when the opportunity arose.

After taking stock, there were indeed many Controlled Objects he lacked or needed to replace, and he’d have to make good use of them once he reached the Land of Stars.

Once his body had fully recovered, he used a purification potion, and following a series of painful twitches, his sense of power once again increased.

"I wonder what the standard for energy levels is now," Li Ming pondered, feeling it should be no less than 5C.

Under the combined system, his energy level could approach 80C, plus various abilities.

Even if the progress of a regular C-level life form reaches 90%, it’s definitely no match for him.

Li Ming estimated that as the level of life increased, the gap between gene seeds was becoming increasingly significant.

Ordinary C-level life forms fuse with common gene seeds at each level, and when they initially become C-level life forms, their energy level is probably hard to even reach the C-level standard.

In his case, as soon as he became a C-level life form, his energy level was at 5C, starting off with a fivefold difference.

And this was just the beginning, with a minor development of his gene seed, his energy level would soar.

Looking again at the Controlled Objects which were eagerly awaiting, he felt fully motivated and immediately started developing his gene seed.

Once he began this development, he felt a clear difference, the decay this time was too obvious—if before it was like a highway, now it was like a dirt road.

"No wonder there isn’t a young B-level life form," Li Ming shook his head, suppressing his thoughts.

Five days later, Ya Ro leaned back in his chair, a virtual screen playing some show in front of him, featuring two octopuses as hosts, which made him laugh foolishly.

Ever so often, he glanced towards Li Ming’s closed door, puzzled.

Li Ming, how did he endure the pain and loneliness?

The long interstellar journey was indeed a good time to develop gene seeds.

However, the process was truly painful, with slow progress. Based on his own development rate, to increase it by 1% would take months.

Lacking feedback and confronted by an extremely painful process naturally curbed his enthusiasm.

Was there a shortage of adult-only interstellar programs?

It had been some time since he last developed his gene seed. Once he stopped, he was even less inclined to start again.

As he was thinking, the spaceship suddenly emitted an alarm. Ya Ro’s gaze sharpened and he rushed to the pilot’s seat, then his complexion drastically changed and he bolted towards Li Ming’s room, only to stop at his door.

Even though he was anxious inside, he carefully knocked on the door, "Junior Brother, we’re in big trouble, you need to stop the spaceship right away."

No sooner had his voice faded than he felt the ship decelerating, while the door in front of him opened and Li Ming came out, remarking, "Senior Brother, is your spaceship’s radar that advanced?"

"To detect the others from such a distant range ahead of time."

"That’s because..." Ya Ro appeared somewhat proud, "I am a C-level life form after all, and without bad habits, where could I spend the money I make so quickly? Don’t judge this old spaceship, the essence lies in its stealthy coating and the ultra-light wave radar."

"I’ll tell you, even standard main fleet warships might not detect me in advance."

"Impressive!" Li Ming gave a thumbs up, then pulled up the radar display, which showed over a hundred dots very close to their target location.

"Just as I thought!" Ya Ro’s expression suddenly darkened, "They still found this place, but I’m not sure if it’s Star Hunters or people from the Sela Civilization."

"We shouldn’t need to take that cargo away in several trips, right? If the cargo was taken, why would they remain here?" Li Ming’s eyes flickered, zooming in on the radar scan.

"It looks like both parties are here, at a stand-off, clearly delineated." Li Ming pondered.

"Both are here?" Ya Ro was even more alarmed and said with a forced smile, "We can’t handle one, let alone both. We should retreat."

"Don’t rush, it’s better if they are all here. I like this kind of situation." Li Ming grinned lightly, and the spaceship’s engines ignited slightly.

Half a day later, the planet was already faintly visible—a lone planet, not part of a constant star system.

The images relayed back by the distant probes showed its surface to be desolate, in a greyish-brown color, with an atmospheric layer so thin it was almost nonexistent, and circular mountain craters scattered throughout.

In the outer orbit, two fleets stood off against each other. One side was scattered, with all sorts of ships appearing rather battered, but they were numerous, not less than a hundred.

The other side was more organized, with flat-bodied ships covered in green patterns, clearly the Sela fleet, totaling only about forty or so in number.

"Why does it seem so familiar..." Li Ming muttered, looking at the small ship at the center of the Sela fleet.

Suddenly, he remembered he had seen it at Hustar Star Port, its owner was—

"Duke Bai Ye!"
