The few men, initially frightened by Ouyang Huihui’s harsh words and cold demeanor, no longer dared to face the very angry Ouyang Huihui and hurriedly fled.

By then, Luo Ziling had already run to the school gate.

When he left the dormitory, he had Yang Xiaodong drive over to pick him up.

“Ling’er, Grandpa will leave Yanjing tomorrow morning to head back to the Northwest, and if nothing happens, I’ll come to Yanjing for New Year’s. But plans might change, I’ll keep you posted. If I come to Yanjing, I’ll spend the New Year with you. Your dad probably won’t make a public appearance again, he might just leave like this. If he doesn’t come to see you again, don’t be surprised.”

After speaking a few words to Luo Ziling, Luo Liansheng then said to Ling Ruonan, “Your man might be upset because I scolded him a bit and thus might do something reckless. If these things happen, your father and your grandfather might get angry. Just ignore them; if they want to blame someone, let them come to me. Just tell them you don’t know anything.”

“Okay,” Ling Ruonan sighed.

On hearing that Luo Xusheng might not appear again, Luo Ziling suddenly became anxious.

He still hadn’t obtained the biological samples from Luo Xusheng’s body, which Luo Yuqing had repeatedly reminded him about.

Whether or not they were half-siblings from the same father, they both wanted to confirm it as soon as possible.

Luo Ziling had originally planned to get some hair, or perhaps some skin or bodily fluids from Luo Xusheng after he came back today, and then hand them over to Luo Yuqing for testing. If Luo Xusheng truly didn’t come back, then how would he get the samples?
